At night, this area could feel a little sketchy but if you keep to yourself, no one will really bother you. They also have an option to pay for your wash digitally so you can see how much time is left on your wash and the machine locks once it starts washing/drying your clothes. You need approximately 30 minutes per washer and dryer. Don't do what I did and think 5 minutes of drying time was enough for a load of clothes. Just pay for 30 minutes of dry time so you're not stuck paying every 10 minutes. There is no bathroom in the facility but there is staff on hand for security/assistance and you can also convert your cash to coins. Parking: plaza parking Recommendations: Pay by phone so you can see how much time you have left on your wash and I could see the pin ball machine being awesome to play in the summer since it blows cool air when you play it.

She explained how the machines worked. It's cashless. You purchase a card from the machine and use it on the washer and dryers. They also have laundry soap and dryer sheets for sale. They also have a wash and fold service for those who don't have time to stay and wash their clothes. There is a lot of parking, but it's in a busy strip type mall area with a LaBonita grocery store next door. They have ample laundry carts available to help get your laundry in and out of your vehicle. Pricing was a little high, we paid $11 for the larger machine and dryers are I believe $.25 for 4 minutes. The facility is clean, you feel safe and lots of machines. We'll definitely return the next time we need to use the facility.

I own a business and formerly owned a restaurant. So I understand how people take advantage of this. But my dog is a trained service dog. In a marked vest. Clearly a working dog. When I expressed that my dog was a service dog, I was still turned away. Legally this is unacceptable. Needless to say. I will not be back. It's unfortunate as it is clean and seems to be well maintained.

They would chat with her, share stories about life and family and notably made her feel happy, she looked forward to their arrival. I work in healthcare and depart before getting to see them in the early hours of the morning. In June 2026, my mother passed away somewhat unexpectedly in the hospital. That following week as I was fumbling through my days and life the team arrived to clean our home. I had ran an errand, and when I returned, the ladies were busy doing their tasks. I came into the kitchen and the woman that my mother was so fond of specifically took one look at me, and I her, and we both began to cry. We hugged and shared our grief for a few moments. It was notable for me on so many levels. She understood and truly felt my pain and loss, and I too saw her sincerity and heart. Not only has this amazing team and company tended to our home for many years now, with love and kindness, they have become a valued part of our life. They touch and are present with all that is around our world. They are irreplaceable to me. I realized that they not only tend to our homes and make life a bit sweeter for us, but they have an investment with those of us they see regularly. How lucky am I to have found this amazing company. I have said it before and will say it again, I am beyond blessed to have found this amazing company, it's owner and the amazing team that makes our world brighter. Literally and figuratively.

I had a total of three fittings - the initial to go over what I wanted, take measurements, etc; the second to try on with the alterations temporarily in place to verify measurements; and the third final one with everything complete! I loved working with them and they made the process so smooth. I wanted to add custom off-the-shoulder sleeves using some of the sparkly tulle cut from the length, and they came out perfect. The bustle was also perfect and they ensured that I knew how to bustle it for the day of, and ensured I took a video so I could show my planner. My husband and his groomsmen got custom suits from Gaetano, but they also use A-Z Alterations! They knew we were both going there so they made sure our fittings weren't on the same day and that I didn't cross paths with my husband or the groomsmen. I know the groomsmen had great experiences as well. A few of them had issues with their pants' length at the second fitting but it was promptly fixed and they looked perfect on the day of. My in-laws and my brother also had their wedding attire altered here and everyone looked amazing! I've been to other alteration places where the customer service definitely lacked, but Stela was great to work with and stayed in constant communication. I've been back since our wedding to get other items altered. I think the prices are definitely fair for the quality and the reliability of their work, and they quote you prior to getting any work done so you know what to expect.

She responded by screaming at me and calling me obscenities. I informed the employee on duty, who clearly did not care at all. To make things worse, a homeless man then came in with a dog and started yelling at the staff because he couldn't access the restroom without money on his card. This place desperately needs better management--and honestly, security. As a paying customer, there's a basic level of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism that should be expected. AJ's Laundry Star just recently opened by Desert Inn and McLeod. It's a very nice and clean laundromat and everything is new. Me and my family have done laundry here twice so far and no complaints, our clothes turned out great after every load. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable. Theres a small children's play area in the corner, as well as a snack and drink vending machine, ATM, and they offer free WiFi which is great lol. They have a special for using the dryer machines for free until September 11th and will be having other specials throughout the year. Ask about a punchcard so when you visit the 11th time, you get any 1 wash load for free. The owner is really nice as well and he seems to care greatly about how customers feel about the place. He makes sure everything is clean and things are going well. It's a cute, small place but definitely worth coming here to do laundry. Stop by next time if you need to do laundry. read more

I've heard of clean before, but nothing compares to AJ's Laundry Star. They strive to have their place clean and provide amazing customer service. Every other place I have been to to do laundry has always been so expensive, but at AJ's I have the oportuity to save my pocket from completely emptying itself in the machines. As a single mom I also have such a busy schedule and that's why I'm glad they developed the LaundryPay app so that I can see if the place is busy or not so that I can save myself a trip. AJ's Laundry certainly went above and beyond to provide everything their customers might need and I will say I was not dissapointed at all. It's absolutely the most amazing and efficient, cleanest newest machines in town. I visited AJ's Laundty Star yesterday. It was the cleanest, best decorated and best attended laundromat I've ever seen. AJ, the owner, opens the door for every customer who enters, and settles each customer in by explaining how to use the machines if needed. One short lady was using a tall machine, so he got her a stepladder to allow her to access the soap receptacle on top. The soap receptacles were all spotless with no detergent residue whatsoever. This is a sure sign that the owner is proud of his business and cleans all equipment continuously. This place is the paragon of cheap and efficient service! I'm happy to say that the laundromat kept its promises, through and through. The free wifi is nice, and it's neat to watch some TV and enjoy a cup of coffee while the machines do their jobs. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Excellent experience at this wonderful hidden gem. The machines are super easy to operate and work really fast. I even managed to catch part of the game on TV while I was waiting for my laundry. Awesome and comfortable feel to the place. WiFi was solid. When you think of a laundromat, a certain image comes to mind. This place takes that image and recreates it in a very positive way. I used to love this laundromat super clean and nice people just really small but now you can't even wash there because they are using all the washers for their fluff and fold. The place is clean, smells good and staff were genuinely great humans and lovely to chat with. Change machine on site. Front desk had additional supplies for sale. Overall greatly recommend! I felt safe and secure doing my laundry at dusk.

I've used this place at least a dozen times for both my clothes and my husband's. The frustrating…read morepart is that they're almost good -- and that's exactly the problem. Every single visit comes with some kind of mistake. Always small. Always avoidable. Always something that requires extra time and follow-up that I don't have. Examples: * I brought in my husband's shirt specifically to have the tag and loose threads removed. I clearly explained this at drop-off. When I picked it up, they had only dry cleaned it. The actual request wasn't done at all. * Another time, I brought in a piece to have a zipper fixed and explicitly said do not dry clean it. They dry cleaned it anyway -- and then charged me for it. * I brought in a sweater with multiple visible spots. When I picked it up, several spots were still there. I pointed this out to the manager, who told me it would be re-done at no additional cost. When I came back? There was an additional charge. This is the pattern. You have to micromanage every single instruction or something gets missed, ignored, or changed -- and then you're the one paying for it, either in money or time. I don't have the bandwidth to triple-check basic requests or argue over charges that shouldn't exist. Mistakes happen, but when it's every time, it's a systems problem. I'm done using them and wouldn't recommend this place if you value your time or expect instructions to be followed the first time.
