I messaged Kevin (the owner) on Yelp, and he was incredibly helpful. He communicated with me directly and assured me that they could simply splice and repair the damaged wires instead of forcing me to buy a whole new harness. When I arrived, his son Alex took great care of me. He handled the repair perfectly, removing the damaged section, soldering in fresh wire, and re-wrapping it with heat shrink for a proper, permanent fix. The warning light is gone, the car runs perfectly, and I saved over $3,200 compared to the dealer's quote! It is so rare to find honest mechanics who will actually fix things rather than just swapping expensive parts. I liked him right away at first, he thought the work might take a couple of hours, but looking deeper into the issue he decided it would only take an hour and then I would be on my way soon. I don't generally talk about the restrooms, but his was clean and bright a real plus when you've been drinking lots of coffee as promised my car was done an hour later and I was on my way. Needless to say while I don't wish any more transmission issues, if they occur I know that this is the place to be.
