Pretty good deal for an oil change and tire rotation. I came in 10a and dropped my car off and waited for the call that my car was ready. I didn't get the call. I had to call at 3:30p to ask for an update but I'm still overall happy with the service done to my vehicle. The shop, lobby and restroom were all clean. Staff were nice also. Been going here for 8+ years for oil changes and have never had a problem until my April service. After my appointment, I went to wash my car and noticed some pieces of plastic scattered plus the lid to the hybrid battery space not sitting flushed in the trunk area--the lid fasteners were damaged due to not opening it correctly. I immediately called and was told it would get looked into by Johnny. I came back a couple days later and Trevor took pix to share with the team. I called another time and was promised a call back. I showed up and the associate (fill in from Corona) wrote my name and number and taped it to the computer screen for Johnny to return my call the next day. I was made aware of some management changes so I was patient. No call for months. I called corporate and had a case opened. They spoke to Johnny who said he was meaning to reach out. Nothing to this day. So disappointed that they didn't take accountability for damaging something in my car. Zero steps were taken to make things right. Skip this place if you're looking for a shop that's reputable and takes customer service seriously. read more

This was a complete letdown. We scheduled an appointment through their website early one Saturday morning. The appointment had a timeframe of 9 AM to 11 AM to have my stepsons truck alignment done. We dropped the truck off about 8:45 am, expecting it done around 11 AM, and they didn't call us till around 11:30 to let us know our truck was too long for their equipment so they couldn't do the alignment. I feel as though when you take the information from the truck and you see the size you should be able to tell pretty quick whether it's going to be too long for your equipment or not. It's obvious no one made an attempt until they finally got around to it after the appointment time, apparently to put it up on their equipment that they learned their equipment wasn't long enough. Yesterday I randomly stopped in to have 5 tires disposed off. I had gone to Costco first and was treated rudely by the employees and then treated even worse by the store manage. They refused to allow me dispose of my tires in which a week earlier they took 3 off my hands no problem. After left Costco frustrated I stopped into Mountain View Tires and was greeted with a kind smile. I asked if I could dispose of 5 tires and the gentleman said he didn't think it would be a problem, but had to talk to the store manage. told him Costco was rude and refused. a few minutes later he returned and said no problem! He walked out with me to my jeep and removed the tires for me. I'll be honest I lost it and started crying. I explained I'm going through a really rough divorce and trying to clean up my yard to sell. Christopher asked if I was a believer. I said yes. He asked if he could pray with me. Right there in the middle of the parking lot he prayed for me. He told me he was just a fill in for the day. Never works there. We looked at one another and said he was to be there to meet me. Horrible experience!!!!!! I've been going to this location for 10 years and never had an experience like I did yesterday! I took my car in for an oil change and the technician got oil all over the ceiling above the driver's seat and all over the inside and outside of the door. The manager said I needed to go get 3 quotes from a Detailer then they could fix the problem. I don't have time to be doing that! That should have never happened! I'm sooooo upset! read more

Women Beware! These guys will take advantage of your lack of automobile knowledge. My wife told them about the problem you're having with a (example: Oil Leak), while I was out of town. They fix it, and the next morning, there's still an oil leak. They never find your oil leak after dropping the car off twice more, but don't tell you they can't fix it. You take your car to another shop, only to find your fuel stick is missing. You call them, and they deny even checking your oil with it, when the stick was there before service. I went in knowing that there was going to be a lot to get done. And A LOT had to get done. Rack and pinion replacement, shocks and struts all the way around, tune up, oil change, fuel system cleaning, top off power steering fluid and coolant, check for leaks, and alignment. It was definitely a pretty penny, but they made it happen. Despite staffing difficulties, these guys pushed through. Trevor was extremely helpful and communicative, even when I couldn't be (I couldn't always take his calls ... I teach during the day). I needed a new bulb and ballast for my Prius headlight. Jake the manager was very helpful, personable, and straight forward. He gave me an estimate, an appt for today and everything went well. Jake even threw in a few extras: a new bulb for my turn signal, an inspection that included if I needed an alignment, air in my tires, brakes, etc. He saved me over $400 from what the local Temecula dealership would have charged. I've been using this store for my two vehicles for about 5 years now. They have consistently provided good service, and have on several occasions not charged me for work. Today was an example of this. While changing out a 12V battery, I dropped a wrench which ended up in the bottom of the engine on the skid pan. Took it in, and they retrieved it for no charge. I was willing to pay, because it was a dumb mistake on my behalf, but there was no charge. I also got my wrench back! I have only taken my car here and to the dealership for maintenance. This place has saved me $1,000s. I have taken my car in twice for breaks...first time, they told me my shocks were leaking and my vehicle is too new to be having that issue so to take it to dealership & it should be covered under warranty, it was (saved me $1,800+). Again, breaks sounded off so I asked them to please check and replace breaks. They called me back and stated my breaks were in great condition and not need of replacing at this time, he took my car on test drive to ensure there wasn't something they were not seeing. The customer service has always been great. Takes some time to work on car but no more than dropping at any maintenance location. Thankful to have found this place. read more

We have been going to Mountain View for four years now. We have purchased our tires and had oil changes there loyally. A couple of years back they did a brake job on my XT5 and their pads only lasted about 14 thousand miles. I had them do the next brake job with high quality pads I purchased myself. Got 25k out of those. Last week they did another brake job with my pads. Today we had an appt with them to do my wife's QX50 brakes with our pads made a week ago. This morning they called at the last minute and said the district manager won't allow use of our pads. So, after four years of being loyal customers, the district manager just lost thousands of dollars of future business over wanting $100 in mark up on his inferior brake pads. Many shops are closed on Sunday so they left us high and dry. read more

This place was our saving grace today, thank you Paul!! As we were driving from California heading back to Arizona we got a flat tire on the road, and on a Sunday many tire shops were closed. We called a few places and were told they wouldn't be able to get us in until end of day or tomorrow and it was around noon. We called this place and Paul was so kind in helping us over the phone double checking that they had the right tires for us to begin with, before making the trip. They were so quick to helping us out and getting us a new tire last minute before our trip back on the road. I've been going to Mountain View for over 3 years now. The service that I receive from everyone at this particular store has been superb. I had to bring my car in as it had an oil leak and was making a funny noise. The gasket on my valve cover needed to be replaced as well as my S belt. The parts came in a little later than expected, but they still were able to get the repairs done by the end of the day so that I could have my car as I am a full-time caregiver. Jake is the manager and he always has gone over and above to make sure I'm taking care of. Juan is an excellent mechanic and never rushes as he cares about the job, he performs. He worked so hard on my car knowing that I needed it for the next day. My car has 260,000 miles on it and it runs like a brand new car. I highly recommend this business before you go anywhere else and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Came in for tire rotation and balance for tires I purchased here. ($89.00). They failed to tell me about a separated tire that they charged me to balance. ($25.00) This even after a "safety check". The vehicle pulled so hard to one side I came back thinking it was tire pressure or a turned around tire they were asked to patch ($50.00). I found 4 different tire pressures all being the wrong pressure. No one here seems to know what they are doing. Will not be coming back. This is not the shop I knew and trusted in the past. I feel very ripped off by these folks. I was told and shown about the bad tire by another Mountain View tire where I went to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. This place will take advantage of you and scam you, BEWARE!!!! I went in bc my tire was shaking when I hit the brakes. They told me I needed rear brakes. They had me wait for over 2 hours until Autozone delivered the breaks. They charged me $290 for parts. I drove straight to autozone to see how much they paid. Guess what, the person who delivered it was there, they told me the brake pads were only $46. The issue continued and so I went to the dealership. They asked why did I get new pads, I only drove 11,000 miles and those were performance pads and rotors. I've never in my life had such buyers remorse.
