But it would have taken longer. My complaint is. My car recommended oil change is 6 Months or 7500 mile and the new standard is up to 10k between oil changes. Their sticker says 3 months and 3,000 miles I asked about and they said their machine prints the same for every car, I think this is a scam. Your business is oil changes and you know the oil type for each car. Their computer should be able to know the maintenance schedule for each car. The staff was great. The quote from 1st Choice was by far the best, and half the amount quoted by the dealership. I selected 1st Choice and scheduled the repair date. The work was completed to my satisfaction. Last year, he decided to branch off and focus primarily on mods, custom builds, and speciality work on Subarus whiling changing the name of the business to RFC Industries. In doing this, he sold the service side (oil changes, tire rotations, basic repairs, etc.) of his business to 1st Choice Autoworks. So I've been coming to them for the non-off roading specific stuff that Chris still does for me. Luke and everyone else here is incredibly kind, knowledgable, and professional. This past weekend, I panicked since I'm leaving for an extended work trip (1.5 months) which involves my heavily modded Subaru Forester and I had an axle issue days before I was supposed to leave. I texted Chris over the weekend and he said come to 1st Choice by 8:00am on Monday. I didn't have an appointment, and just showed up. And this isn't my style. I'm usually so highly organized and do my best to be respectful, schedule appointments, and go through the proper channels. But I woke up at 6:00am and was in Murrieta by 8:00am. I explained my situation and they were so accommodating and understanding and kind. It took all day but they helped me out and got my car back in good health and I'm so thankful they were cool with me just showing up. This shop is trustworthy, professional, and now is really familiar with off-roading and modded, lifted Subarus due to SubiWorks' and Chris' involvement. The kind receptionist at Carmax Service referred me to this shop that is an authorized mechanic who works under Carmax's extended warranty program. Anthony efficiently ran the codes as my dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree. The lights eventually went way, but after he ran them again, he recommended I get the battery replaced. He found out how much the battery was by calling the dealer, and some after market spots. He recommended that I DIY which I normally do with battery replacements. He even topped off my oil as it was a quart low. After I got the battery replaced at O'Reilly, I came back, Anthony ran the codes, and it was all clear and not indicating anything of concern. I will only go to this shop from now on, as Anthony seemed to really care, and go out of his way to assist me even though his shop got no monetary benefits this time around. But, he treated and handled my siutation in a manner that I was very pleased, so I will definitely go back.

I was in a pickle for time so I did a real quick YELP search and came across Anthony at ProAuto. The review from the guy that says he comes all the way from SD to see Anthony, really stood out. I called immediately and arranged an appt for an oil change, rotation of tires, engine and cabin filter replacement, and a brake inspection. I do not want to deal with dealerships if I don't have to. This office was soooooo quiet, and calming. Overall, I really appreciated Anthony and the work he performed on our car. I will teach my Grandson where he needs to go when he needs service. About a month ago I went in to get my flat tire fixed. They noticed I needed an oil changed and asked if I wanted to get it all done at once. I said go ahead so I wouldn't have to deal with it later. Turns out they charged me over $100 for a full synthetic oil change and never actually gave me any oil. I don't know if they removed the old oil and just forgot to put in the new, but a few days later my car started making really scary noises. I took it into my local shop where they discovered my oil was not even reading on the dip stick. Luckily I got it into the shop fast enough that my engine did not blow. Such a small, simple thing missed and I almost lost of my engine due to it. I'm quite upset with this place and will not be going back. To make things worse, we recently had a death in the family and I haven't had time to go in and complain to get my money back. Just beware of this place.
