They communicate well and give service recommendations without any pressure to add them. Had the oil changed on our car this past weekend. Came out to my car after work & the plastic undercarriage that is removed & returned for an oil change was hanging down from the car. Missing MANY screws. My husband stopped by Valvoline on the way home & told them about the be missing screws. The guy just shrugs & says, "They're not a hardware store, they don't have screws there". WTF. Looking at the reviews, they should have plenty of screws laying around, because this is the not the first review with the same issue. This review has been a long time coming. The original date of incident happened in October of 2025 and that fact that it is almost February of 2026 speaks volumes about the care of service this company shows their customers. I was trying to give the business the benefit of the doubt due to a busy holiday season but almost three months of going radio silent on financial resolution is pretty unbelievable. Not only was I told I would get a refund for the original service but also for the money I spent on rentals cars, while the transmission that they admitted fault to breaking was replaced. Sadly the car still doesn't run the same and i was out $800 with no reimbursement insight. I implore anyone looking to use this shop's services to look around at other shops first and use this company as a last resort. read more

I had a first person who did walk me through the process and everything but didn't ask me if I had coupons for my oil change then Jacob began to help me and was training what seemed to be a new hire he was going very in depth and me listening to him he gave me calm sense. Do not go there!! I would not go there ever! Please look at their one star reviews! The same thing happened to my dad who is 88 years old! He went in for an oil change and they damaged something in his vehicle. They improperly replaced the oil filter and it caused a sensor to go off. We took the van back and they denied doing anything wrong. They told us to take it to a mechanic, which we did and he found the mistake! We have tried to no avail to get compensation. I've been to this location many times and have always had good service. Today I went in for an oil change and it wasn't a good experience. Normally they do a safety check (blinkers/lights, etc.), check air filters, tire pressure and provide a sticker for next service. The guy managing the service didn't do any of those things and I had to ask three different times for them to do those checks. Never received a receipt and he said I was too late for him to add my coupon. Additionally, when I entered the bay and had an initial oil check, I was told I didn't need my oil changed. It had been 8,000 miles and almost a year since changed ( it's a second car for around town). Maybe an inconsistency in training or brand new people. read more

I just got an oil change at Valvoline in Wildomar. Terrible experience! Cory the assistant manager is asking if I want to write a review and not even picking up on how upset I am. Waited 30 minutes to get started because they put me behind a truck they didn't have the oil for but said I would go to whatever lane opened first. Guy comes and starts pulling another car forward that just pulled up and he snaps you are literally next. Well how would I know no one said anything to me. He said okay we are going to get started without confirming the oil I wanted or the price or anything. Last time they tried to give me not full synthetic. Didn't check signals or even any of the basics things they normally do. They were very distracted talking about who isn't back from lunch, weekend plans etc. when I mentioned to Cory that this wasn't a good experience he said oh well we are short staffed and walked away. Do not go here unless you want them to ruin your car. I brought in my 2015 Dodge Caravan just to get the oil changed. This is a very simple procedure. When they had finished, MY VAN WAS RUINED! The service guy told me that I shouldn't even drive it home and should call for a tow. After they ruined it, they charged me the full $150 even though all of my oil leaked out within a few minutes. My vehicle was smoking and shaking. The power steering was completely gone. Nothing was wrong with my car beforehand, but they had no problem ruining it and then gaslighting me saying that my van was a ticking time bomb that just happened to get ruined right as they were changing my oil. Of course I had mechanics check it out afterwards and told me that the issues were a direct cause from having my oil done improperly. $2,000 worth of repairs later, and it's still not back to normal. I called them to resolve this but they said they would come and look at the vehicle but then never did. I will probably sue them. Nobody deserves to be treated this way read more

I came in days after getting my oil changed because my back brake light went out. I tried to change it on my own but couldn't get the housing to come off. After a quick trip to Valvoline, the assistant manager, Malik, was able to help me out and get the new bulb in within a matter of 2 minutes. This was all free of charge since I had my own bulbs! I took my wife's 2017 Lexus in for a oil change several months ago and the change was uneventful but I decided I would go back to doing my own afterwards due to the cost and up selling pressures at Valvoline. This week I drain the oil but could not get the filter housing off. Toyota stopped using a spin on filter and the housing is plastic so care must be taken with the housing and o ring. The tech made sure it would not leak by over tightening the housing damaging the O ring. I had to use a special tool made by Toyota to get it off. See the attached pictures. Started off the day trying to do a routine oil change on my wife's 2019 Subaru forester sport and I stripped the drain plug. Drove to the local auto parts store to buy a new drain plug and there was a competitor oil change station conveniently right across. They let me know they weren't able to get the plug off and I thought I'd try one more place before giving up for the day. I stopped by at Valvoline instant oil change and the manager Justin greeted me immediately and helped me out. Justin and his whole crew were a pleasure to work with and provided excellent customer service! He was able to get my drain plug off and change the oil for me. Justin went above and beyond to help me with my car after another place let me know they would not be able to get the plug off. I will definitely be going back because of the great service. As usual, great service and you're in and out quickly. I went this morning to get my oil change and there was no waiting time. Right away they checked my lights and noticed one of my tail lights was out. They gave me a price estimate and asked if I was interested. No pressure at all from the staff.
