    Good flavor but very small.

I've been to other AYCE sushi places. This one the ambiance was fine relatively calm. The food was fine just because of the wait time for food coming to my table hot items were cold. The service was terrible empty drinks, slow food ordering from the first order to the last. Staff seemed rude and didn't want to be there it was 2000. When I came in I know it was late since they closed at 2100. I wanted to see if service was good even later in the night. It was terrible, slow and at the end of the meal asked for green tea ice cream which was included... got my bill no ice cream till money was in the bill holder. Which would b fine but they brought the ice cream and pretty much were kicking me out. Couldn't even eat the ice cream because of the staff attitude. Would I recommend this place maybe but not end of the night. I'll try again different time of day and write a second review. Overall price seems reasonable for AYCE.

The storm had teeth that evening. Flash floods barked down alleyways, and thunder played timpani on the roof of my getaway Prius. I'd seen weather like this before--once in a failed ramen heist in '08--but tonight, I wasn't chasing ghosts. I was chasing tuna rolls, and maybe a bottle of cold ramune to calm the existential static buzzing through my third eye. They call the place Akame Sushi. Not the kind of joint you stumble into--it's the kind of joint that calls to you. Like a whisper from an old flame on a payphone: urgent, familiar, and slightly fishy. I frequent this establishment, which is saying something--because I don't frequent anything but regret and caffeine. But Akame... Akame's different. It's all-you-can-eat dinner, which, to me, sounds less like a dining option and more like a dare. The staff moves like clockwork--efficient, poised, unfazed by the chaos of wet shoes and culinary ambition. They know the regulars. I'm not a regular--I'm a recurring anomaly. The sushi arrives in waves. Spicy tuna, salmon, eel--each roll a passport stamp in the noir travelogue of my tastebuds. Sake flows like a truth serum for the soul. Ramune pops its top like a bottle of hope in a city that forgot how to dream. Outside, thunder growls like a jealous ex. Inside, I'm biting into tempura shrimp so light it defies the laws of moisture and memory. I'm seated across from silence, soaking in the neon reflections from the rain-streaked window. In a world of mystery, Akame delivers answers--wrapped in seaweed and served with a wink.

We were in the area and looked for an all you can eat sushi restaurant. This is a prime location near the highway and huge parking lot. We were surprised to see my niece working that night. She was our server and answered all of our questions. Restaurant is nice and big. Priced not too bad, $35 per person for dinner.

First time visit, all 5 of us had a good experience - 4 stars. Parking is super easy, the parking lot is huge. And the restaurant itself is big and it takes up a large part of the north end of the building. On the evening of our visit, things were hopping. We had some weirdness in the beginning when I refused to tell the server if we were doing the all-you-can-eat menu or the standard menu. I explained, logically, that I'd never visited before and I definitely needed to see both menus. (And both menus are definitely different.) Despite the push-back & weirdness from the server and after consulting with a manager, she let us look at both menus. She had to get permission from the manager to let us look at both menus??? Our friends told us the reason for the strange menu reaction is because some customers will order something cheap off the regular menu but then cheat and eat off their friend's plate with a mountain of buffet selections. True? Who knows? Maybe. I went with hot green tea, miso soup, and 3 tuna based sushi rolls off the all-you-can-eat menu. It saved me a few bucks. My mother ordered 1 sushi roll off the standard menu. Our 4 friends all went with all-you-can-eat. LOW CARBOHYDRATE: It's pretty easy to eat low-carb keto style at Akame. The sushi roll and sashimi selections, in addition to chicken, shrimp, and crab will leave your insulin in good shape. I try to avoid noodles, large rice portions, deep fried breaded food, and any sauce that likely contains sugar and vegetable seed oils. FYI, I asked and they use soy bean oil in their fryers. All in all, I was satisfied. I'd go back again any time if I'm in the area. -Maxx

Sauces are organized nicely, I like that you have an option for taking one that's nice of them.

Blinds worked great and sushi is good ! The rocks were nicely glued and the condiments were nicely stacked in a bucket so overall yeah also good sushi

Location is good, as there were lots of parking spots! We came here for dinner, and it started out well with staff being kind. Our party all did the dinner all you can eat. However, after our first order, the staff stopped stopping by our table to take our orders. We would have to catch them to order anything. Even then, a frw of our orders never came out. Additionally, the staff didn't even bother to refill our drinks until I asked. It was ridiculous if you ask me. Food was good. I had sashimi and nigiri and those were pretty good. Not sure about everything else because I didn't try them.

Business lunch with a co-worker and I had never tried Kyoto or any MN chain of sushi that specializes in all you can eat. Usually I judge these places but took the gamble and it paid off They have a solid menu with a ton of sashimi, roll and cooked options and a staff that keeps bringing you food until you are done ! I tried two cuts of fish (unagi, salmon) and two rolls along with miso and edamame. Green tea ice cream was the closer.... Fun to have two blocks from where I work

This is the 2nd time we've been to this location and had the all you can eat. There are so many items to chose from even if you aren't into sushi. We have had a few of the udon noodles and fried rice dishes and they tend to give somewhat large servings. To avoid wasting, make sure you try to split with a few people. The sushi is good quality and we found a few of our favorites. They also have sashimi (my favorite is surf clam for beginners). They have a chicken teriyaki roll and a few basic rolls for those trying to get used to sushi. We tried these maki rolls: - Rainbow Roll (fresh and had multiple types of fish on top - #9 Roll (the favorite at our table) - Tempura Roll - Deep Fried Roll (comes hot... be careful) - Crazy Roll (tasty but a larger roll) - Caterpillar Roll (love some eel!) Sadly our server wasn't the friendliest and we tried to be as helpful as possible by stacking dishes... maybe she was having a bad day? Over all, good value for what you can order and eat. Come hungry!

Sushi is always delicious with a good variety for lunch and a great variety for dinner. LOVE LOVE LOVE that it's an all you can eat option as well as a standard meal option. Service is average to good but I am a frequent flier at this particular restaurant and will continue to be!

Bonne après-midi tout le monde ! This place is great for all you can eat sushi! The staff are helpful and nice, and the sushi is great for the price! Lunch time is the best best, as it's $10 cheaper than dinner! I would definitely recommend the Dynamite roll and the dumplings! All in all great food for the value! À la prochaine !

All you can eat American style Sushi is the staple at Kyoto. Lunch is 15.99 before beverage and dinner is 25.99. The menu has about 50 or so items to choose from that are all apart of the All you can eat choice. Not feeling like eating until you pop? That's ok! They offer al a cart menu items as well. They appear to have a good wine, beer and sake selection but being it was a lunch visit on a Wednesday, I opted out of that rebellion. We ordered the Dumplings, Shrimp Tempura, Miso Soup and Edamame to start off. To note a few items: when we received our first order, the dumplings came in a little pool of grease that was displeasing to the eye however, they were crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. The Tempura shrimp come as long deveined shrimp. Great texture and the tempura wasn't too heavy or greasy. We were a little disappointed in the rolls. The Dynamite Roll was overly spicy from other similar rolls I had at competing sushi places. My friend made an observation that the roll looked like rolled cat food since the tuna was not sliced but minced. We also ordered the Boston roll and that was overwhelming with cream cheese and not much of anything else. The service was ok but nothing noteworthy. We were served our meals and checked on periodically but there was not warmth. I'll probably go again to try other rolls but am definitely curious if the Al a Cart rolls are "prettier" than the all you can eat.

Good food, excellent service! If your work a larger group they do add a service charge in place of the tip.

Since when does Kyoto charge a service fee? Me and my table are all of your food that we ordered from the all you can eat. This is like the 10th time going and first time seeing this.

I believe you only get a service charge when you order all you can eat, but don't eat all of your food.

I ordered 2 unagi nigiri, those were probably the weakest on the plate but still good. One of the rolls had a mango sauce on it that was amazing. I've always been scared to try rolls like that but the sweetness went well and enhanced the whole bite. I also tried plum wine for the first time and it was soooo sweet and tasty. Also got pretty lit off just one glass. I wanted to order sake too but didn't need it. The environment was very chill and relaxing. We were seated in a big, roomy booth. I am super excited to return and try more yummy sushi and even experience their hibachi items. Definitely give this place a try!

It was about 80% cucumber with barely any crab, which wasn't what we expected. Unfortunately, the service really overshadowed the experience. We weren't greeted when we walked in, and things felt off from the start. We had a stroller with us, and instead of helping us find a comfortable spot, we were initially directed to a booth that clearly wouldn't work. When I asked about it, the waitress moved a couple of tables and pointed us to an end table with an uncomfortable chair. I politely asked to sit somewhere else, which felt awkward to even have to do. There were also a few moments that felt careless, like when she reached over my baby and stroller to grab a drink instead of going around. That's just not something you should risk. When I finished my salad, she told me to keep my fork rather than bringing a new one for sushi, which came off as odd. I also know how to use chopsticks so it seemed weird to assume that I didn't and would reuse my fork. The waitress didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and we didn't feel acknowledged at any point..even when we left, despite being the only customers there. It's a shame because the food, music, and overall vibe had potential, but the service really took away from the experience.

But I had a birthday voucher and a gift card, so we thought, why not give it another try. And wow. I feel like I have been missing out. The experience was so much fun. Our chef was fantastic and made the whole night feel special. It honestly felt like the perfect way to celebrate turning 38. And yes, at one point I was jokingly called out as "toxic", and to be clear, that was directed at me. All in fun! We ordered the steak/shrimp combo, which came with a shrimp appetizer and white rice. Of course we upgraded to fried rice, which feels like a must. Everything was really good and the chef did not cut corners at all, which we appreciated. My only callout is the cost. Even with the coupon and a $25 gift card, we still show how spent over $110 for two meals and one drink. I was honestly shocked. Compared to other places, it is definitely more expensive. Gratuity is automatically added. That said, the service truly was fantastic, so in this case it felt deserved. Even with the higher price, I would still go back.
