We went here on a Friday night. This was our first time at the restaurant and were using a restaurant.com coupon. The atmosphere is a bit odd and somewhat loud, it is located in an athletic club, so while we were eating, the window allowed us to watch people play tennis. There was no waiting for a table, the wait staff told us we can pick any seat we wanted and he would bring us a menu.. there were two other parties seated. Although we ordered right away, and the place didn't seem busy at all, we waited at least 15-20 minutes to receive our food (4 rolls of sushi). We ordered 4 specialty rolls: the crunchy spicy salmon ($16)-- could have used more crunch, caterpillar ($13)-- good mix of fish, Strawberry shortcake ($13)-- was not a fan of having the sweetness of the fruit mix with the rest of the ingredients, and Mojo roll ($14)-- the best out of the four rolls given the delicious taste and texture. The prices seemed about the same as other japanese restaurants, or maybe a little higher depending on the rolls you ordered. There was nothing really special about these rolls, they were good and presented very well, but nothing that would entice me to visit again.

Fantastic food and service at the LT Southdale location. Sushi is fresh and the lounge is incredibly inviting and clean.

Such a fun and unique spot. I love the Japanese-Peruvian fusion concept here…read more We had the udon saltado and it was hands down the best udon I've ever had. The noodles were perfectly cooked and almost melted in your mouth, and the broth was incredible. Our server recommended the Mancora roll, which ended up being delicious, and the salmon tiraditos were phenomenal. Super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. The spicy tuna roll was really good too, but definitely has a kick, so just a heads up if you're sensitive to spice. The drinks are also a highlight. The cocktails are fun and the pisco options are a cool change from your typical menu. Service was great. Friendly, helpful, and gave solid recommendations. Parking is easy with street parking and nearby lots around Hopkins, which is always a plus.

TLDR: Food good, drinks excellent, service problematic, prices high…read more Now, let's dig in. This is NOT a review for dinner, this is a review for sitting at the bar, having some nibbles and drinks, and learning what they do and how they do it. Food: The ceviche is genuinely solid. It is not a large portion for the price point, but, the leche de tigre is a good balance of coconut, sweetness, and lime, the fish is fresh, and if you ask for it spicy, there are good hot peppers on it, The fried yuca, meh. It's OK, it's yuca, it's fried, it soaks up pisco. the sauce served with it should fall upon its sword. Drink: I really appreciated the chance to try multiple piscos, distilled from the same grape, but with different terroir. I could taste it and that was super cool. Also, I tried out the chica sour and I am modestly convinced that the sours are the way to go here, my reason for wanting to come back is those cocktails. Lovely foam, great sour/sweet/booze balance, I could drink several of these (and I SHOULDN'T, this is the suburbs and I have to drive). Service: I sat down at the bar and nobody gave me an actual MENU until the third time they asked "do you need anything?" and then I pointed out that you have to give the guest a menu if you want him to order stuff. Bro. Also, when I ask for a water without ice, maybe you shouldn't put ice in it? You know, just a thing, not a complex recipe? This is kinda remarkable bc they have 4 ppl behind the bar, at 5pm, at the time I'm typing this. This is not an understaffed establishment. Does nobody here understand basics? And finally, OK, price. Yes, I am in Hopkins, it has very wealthy white ppl, I know. But wow, I had two appetizers and two drinks and I;m in for $80? Perhaps this is reasonable bc fish, but only one of those 4 things had fish in it. I am fairly confident that we are playing the "white people don't know, charge them all the dollars" game, and I am annoyed that this means that I as brown people can't come back here reliable. That is a pity bc there is good stuff above I want to explore.

We were seated and had a view of the pond or water. Our server, Bryn, brought us a few glasses of bubbles to start while we looked at the menu. Bryn gave us some good recommendations, and we went with the Redstone breakfast. Redstone is known for their ribs, so what else could I choose? I selected a full rack of ribs, and the meat fell right off the bone. They had the perfect blend of BBQ, smoke, and tanginess. The sauce was not runny and stuck to the ribs. I didn't even bother with the fries. The coleslaw was mediocre and was lacking in flavor, but the ribs were heavy. We had a few glasses of wine to quench our thirst and relaxed and had great conversations as we caught up. Bryn checked up on us and made sure we had all we needed and provided perfect service. The bathrooms and restaurant areas were clean, and there was tons of free parking in their lot.
