The server should have set all their customer's expectations. They should've cleared out their first seating at least 30 minutes prior to their second seating! Fine. When we finally get to sit down and the hostess messed up the seating. They seated another party at our bar/counter seats. We knew because she called our name first but they got seated and when she called the other party, we realized she already sat down. Not only did she not fix it, she basically ignored it and pretended like she didn't make a mistake. She could've easily apologized to the other party and made them go to their assigned seat but nope. She made us sit where I clearly did not want to sit. It made us argue amongst ourselves and just created a terrible birthday evening. I did not enjoy it at all. And then comparing to previous times I've dined here, the food isn't as creative or tasty anymore. Sad because I was just saying this was my favorite spot on our way to dinner tonight.

The tofu teriyaki had a very slimy texture and would have tasted better if the tofu was crispy. The texture was just weird. The California roll was standard. The salmon had no flavor with the sauce and could have been seared and spiced a little better. The gyoza was standard as well but the sauce was a little odd (thick and creamy as opposed to more of a soy sauce vinegar). The staff was kind and they had complimentary candy for folks. Food was pretty good overall and we would come back and try other things.

There are 2 screens available for you to order your drinks and sandos at outside of the restaurant and right before the balcony space. I opted for their strawberry matcha and the banana chocolate sando. It came out to about $15 for both before tip. Overall, the drink wasn't very strong in matcha flavor and the freeze dried strawberry bits on top of the foam didn't do much for me, but the sando was crispy and filled with a generous amount of whipped cream and bananas.
