i was excited to try my first class here a couple of weeks ago, only to realize i had been…read moreovercharged for the drop-in. i told the front desk rep that this was my first time at dance2b and instead of charging me the 'new client' special deal, she charged me for a regular drop-in. after contacting the business owner, Jennifer, she was unable to compensate me, extremely rude, and did not apologize for the inconvenience. it was not clear to me that i HAD to purchase the class ahead of time, and as a new client prospect, this should have been handled more gracefully. highly recommend you do not come here. in addition, the dance class was subpar and offered no real instruction.

I really don't even remember the names of the coaches I had because the personality was lacking along with motivation. -People here do NOT follow the number system when moving from tread to rower to floor and staff does nothing about it. This drives me absolutely bonkers because once this happens it causes a chain reaction of people having to move and not knowing where they are going, therefore slowing down the workout. -Just not my people. This is a studio for younger folk who want to talk/gossip more than workout. I'm used to a more focused/serious group that is there to get the best workout possible. So yeah, obviously not my choice studio but I like it because it's pretty central so I can meet a friend for a workout. OTF is awesome but I wish this studio would work on the items above.

I was canceling for personal health reasons, but because of how Megan (the manager) talked to me on the phone I have no intention of ever stepping foot in an orange theory ever again. Completely embarrassing the way she try's to convince you to stay.

Service: The instructors are very friendly and great at learning your name quickly. They help correct your form in a kind way and can always provide a different movement if you have an injury. The App & Scheduling: - Booking: Everything is done through their app. You can see the full weekly schedule, check how many spots are left, or join a waitlist. - Cancellation Policy: Be careful with your schedule! You have to cancel at least 12 hours before class. If you miss it or cancel late, they charge a $15 fee. It can add up, so make sure to check your app early to save your money! The Workout: Since I work from home, my hips tend to lock up from sitting all day. Pilates has been so helpful in loosening them up and building strength little by little. Just remember to bring your grip socks or buy a pack on Amazon to save money! Parking: - The Struggle: Evening parking is a pain and the free garage passes run out fast. - The Hack: If you book classes before 8 AM, street parking is free! It really motivated me to become a morning person. Price: It is an investment, but worth it if you go consistently. - Unlimited: $259 - 8 Classes: $199 - 4 Classes: $109 - They offer a military discount, and it's always worth asking about New Year's deals or seasonal specials! This review is mainly about the predatory sales tactics from the moment you give them your info. In a week, I received no less than 4 calls and text messages about every other day from various people trying to have a conversation about my goals. Um, my goal is to try out a free class to see if it's for me. Do we need to become besties in order for that to happen? I told them I wasn't interested in having a phone conversation and they still kept calling, up until the day of my intro class and following up with threats to cancel my intro class because they hadn't had a chance to speak with me. In their voicemails they say a conversation is "required" but when I asked them if it was really a requirement or where in the terms and conditions it mentions that on signup, they didnt respond and just kept barreling forward with trying to get me on the phone. This is despite a clear "no thank you, I'm not interested in chatting." At the end of the class they reserve 15 minutes to separate you and your friends to try to pitch you on a "schedule" and plan that might fit for you. I said very clearly I'm not interested in a membership and they still insisted on going through their pitch. Ugh, all of it gave me the ick. It's like setting up a blind date and having your date blow up your phone and try to get you in a committed relationship before even meeting, even after you've set clear boundaries. They need to rethink their sales strategies because the other friends I took the intro class with also felt the same about being harassed nonstop. I've experienced less annoying sales tactics at time share presentations. Worth a free 30 min class? Probably not.

CNS offers free intro to Salsa and Bachata lessons. Yes, that's right. I said FREE! The classes run on a 10 week program. Each week builds off of one another so it is important that you take classes from the beginning if you are a beginner. Classes for each style are offered twice a week. Salsa is on Tuesdays at 6pm and Thursdays at 7pm. While, Bachata is on Tuesdays at 8:30pm and Fridays at 8pm. It is not necessary to attend both classes every week because they cover the same thing but it is offered so you can get some extra practice in. I would recommend going to their website to make sure you are starting at the beginning of the 10 week program so you don't get lost :) I have only just begun taking lessons and love it so far. I have also gone along with friends who dance Salsa and Bachata regularly (some competitively) and they only have positive things to say about it. It is great for dancers of all levels to go to hone and refresh your skills. On top of the free classes, they charge packages for higher level dancers. More information about that is available on their website. The instructors are very skilled, attentive, and give individualized attention to everyone even in large classes! If they see common mistakes among their pupils, they are quick to correct it which I find extremely important. They are also bilingual and are willing to instruct the class in both languages if there are any language barriers. I highly recommend these classes for anyone interested in learning Salsa or Bachata - or even if you want to get some extra practice in without the awkwardness or pressure of social dancing!
