They did a great job with the decor in the lobby and in the spa rooms. The spa is on the second floor of the building and I believe that there is a med spa underneath. The location is right on Mayfield, whis is a pretty busy street, so pulling in and out can be a little tricky as you may have to wait a bit, but parking is easy. Brea is super knowledgeable about skin and skin care products and has really empowered me to be more serious about how I take care of my face. During my initial consultation we talked about my skin and my cleansing routine and she determined what type of facial would be best for me. Throughout the entire facial she talked to me about the products that she was using and answered every question I had about how to achieve a naturally clear and glowy complexion. I was truly impressed by how much information she was able to share with me. The spa has all of the gadgets and gizmos you'd want during a facial and the space is super relaxing. When I was done asking questions, I fell asleep for a bit. It's really calming in there. One of the best things about Brea is that she has her own line of skin care products. She really lives out her philosophy and understanding of skin care through her products, which are natural and fragrance free. She's not pushy about people purchasing them, but offers it as an option to continue working on your skin. I've purchased her exfoliator, turmeric moisturizer, toner, and brightening serum and continue to use some of the cleansers and serums that I already had. I LOVE the liquid exfoliator. I can really feel it working and have noticed a difference since I've started. She's good at helping you to create a simple routine to help improve your skin. Overall, this is a really great spa. However, if you are looking for a stronger treatments such as micro needling or laser, look for another place. Anthem spa is more spa style where you can come to relax and get a treatment. My technician was really focused and spent time redoing nails if it looked wonky. Unfortunately, she did not catch everything (and neither did I until it was too late to go back). Some of my nails are different lengths, there are edges/corners that are missing polish. One of my nails has a .5cm section that didn't get the last coat of color so it's two toned. Overall, the nails still look fine from far away but I don't feel like I got the quality I was looking for for the price. Everyone was very friendly and it is clean inside!

I was especially excited to have sauna and cold plunge close to home, hoping to make this my winter ritual destination. I first wanted a low commitment way to check out everything that the spa has to offer. That's where things ended up in disarray. I called in on Monday to ask about Groupon booking and how far the appointments will be booked. Confident that there may even be appointments the same week, I purchased a Groupon right away. Purchased luxe level to experience sauna, cold plunge, and massage. Called the spa twice on Tuesday and Wednesday with no response. Texted and received a response that they will no longer honor a Groupon. The recommendation was to contact Groupon for a refund because the spa no longer partners with Groupon. I was advised to book through ClassPass instead. Long story short, I now have to wait 5-10 business days for a refund from Groupon. The Groupon is still listed on the site and available for purchase. As a customer, I am extremely confused why I had an entire conversation of the phone about Groupon, was ignored for two days, and then had to request a refund from Groupon. It's not a relaxing spa experience one would expect. Following my Groupon cancellation that I was advised to do, the spa contacted me to honor the Groupon stating "exception will be made this time." I wasn't interested in proceeding further for several reasons. One, the Groupon was cancelled per recommendation. Two, I love relaxing and positive atmosphere at spas. "Exception will be made" sounded like a favor rather than a service or a good start to a long-term relationship. I'm sure that the spa has lovely accommodations. However, proceed with caution if you're booking and know that your service may be denied.
