The location has a very small indoor seating area and a medium size outdoor area. About 12 tables or so set up outside. The server was very friendly and quick with service. I also ordered a Mango Mojito which was good but very tart. This stop was a definite win and probably some of the best wings I have had for quite some time. We sat at the bar and our bartender made us two margaritas. They have tajin to rim your drinks which is a plus for me! This is casual , think of your local pub. This place just opened up in October 21, 2023 and they are owned by a kind couple. The inside still retains the presence of the buildings historic brick structure with the use of coral. There's a bathroom in the back and it's clean. But unfortunately there's no WiFi and signal declines when inside (I dropped to 1-2 bars) I liked that they have a variety of beef hotdogs, as well as vegan options. They also have seasoned fries & chili. I'm not particularly a fan of hotdogs, but I ordered a pizza dog and added bacon & pepperoni. It wasn't half bad and had a nice size. You can have chili fries too or customize your orders. I heard that they make a delicious vegan Mac & Cheese on special days and they also had some pastries in stock. But their shining star on the menu was their passion fruit cheesecake! They had mango too, but the passion fruit was so phenomenal!! I'll go back just for this!! I cannot recommend it enough! Drinks, cold beer, soft beverages, water....daily special drinks, too. Stop by to spend a day at the beach, or for lunch after a dive at the very nearby Salt River Dive Shop. The grounds, the pool, the beach......and the shack! are all worth visiting. The Shack has NO signage on the road, so unless you hear about it, you'd never know it was there. Drive into the Gentle Winds property....all the way down to the pool area. Can't miss it. Hours are 11:30 -6 every day of the week (can vary depending on activity) during busy season, weekends only during the summer.

This little food truck was a great substitute located just a couple of miles East of Old San Juan. Three of us split a pound of lechon, a small chorizo rice, and 3 empanadas (chicken, shrimp, and beef.) Our total came out to be just under $25. This was more food than we could eat. The lechon was delicious -salty, flavorful, meaty, and just the right amound of tenderness. Their tangy hot sauce was a grrat accompaniment. The empanadas were hot and flakey and just plain amazing. The rice was good, but pretty average. They had many other delicious sounding items on their rotating menu that we didn't get to try. Keep in mind they don't serve lechon everyday if this is what you are after. We came on a Saturday and they did have it. They have a facebook page en espanol that seems to be updated pretty regularly. The truck is located between the Shell gas station and the Iglesia Evangélica Luterana San Pablo. Look for a black trailer with a couple of shaded tables right off the Shell. Many people biked here as it's right along the paved pedestrian/bike trail that follows the water. Come check it out! You won't be disappointed.

So amazing that we ate here 3days in a row. I couldn't get enough of their pork tacos. El lobo is located right next to shell gas station which is great because you can buy beer/alcohol and bring it 15 feet away to el lobo and have yourselves dinner with drinks if you are on a budget. Add that with some lights hung up above and some good music and your set! The owners of el lobo are very polite and explains in detail the ingredients of each food listed on their menu for the day. We are so glad we found this place! I recommended to the owner to add themselves on Yelp so that others can experience this hidden gem!
