I met coworkers for a holiday party. I had the chicken tikka Marsala. It was okay. I was disappointed because this place is a dive. I had high hopes for the food. The mango lassi tasted like a mix and not real mangos. It was as served warm instead of chilled. The naan bread was dry with no taste. The bathroom was clean. There is no parking in their lot. This is unacceptable for a restaurant hotel. The man who parked beside me looked he worked somewhere else. The service was fair. It is a self service cafe. I really had hoped for good Indian food. I was severely let down.

First time there a friend of mine recommended this place. The food was good, fast service and very friendly staff. Ike my chicken byriani with yugard salad, I also got the lamb karaki which was very delicious. I will definitely come back...

Not authentic Indian. Got the Chicken Tikka Marsala, extra spicy. So they added a few slices of jalepenos. Lacked flavor. Beware, it's self service which is fine but nice to know before hand. Had to order rice separately from entree. Would not recommend. Ambiance was not great. It's attached to the Days Inn hotel. To top it off, there was still a sticker on the pepper in my food.

The food is amazing! The price is reasonable and staff are helpful. I will be coming often. I highly recommend their chicken tikka masala.

We were in the mood for some Indian/Pakistani food and happened on to stumble onto this place on Yelp. Once we got here there was no one in the restaurant which made us a little nervous. However, after our order arrive we were pleasantly surprised at the spices/flavors of the food. Although it is not Islamabad, it's not too far off. We loved the place and will definitely be back!

Decent Pakistani food! My family (especially my grandma) love this restaurant. All of us made the drive out on a Friday to grab some dinner. The place was empty and parking was easy. It's connected with the Days Inn and theres no signage outside but once you're in the Days Inn parking lot, just follow the road that leads to their restaurant. There was only one server working and by the time we had sat down, a few more families came but she seems to cater to every table. Between my family and I, we ordered the chaat papri, chapli kabob, chicken karahi and butter chicken. The portions are kind of small when compared to the price but in the end we had just enough food to feed everyone and take just a little for leftovers. Everything we ordered was delicious but I'd skip the chicken karahi. It had more sauce to it as opposed to a dry karahi so I wasnt a big fan. We also tried their chai which I wasnt too crazy about either.

We went to de BBQ 2night last night for dinner in Lanham, MD. We ordered goat karahi, Rogan Josh, chicken bihari kabobs and a house salad. The goat karahi was good. Very oily (even by Pakistani standards), but once I removed the oil it was good. The naan that came with the food was awesome. Fresh out of the oven and it was yummy in my tummy The salad was entirely average. Came with spinach, onions, chickpeas and house dressing. No one was impressed with the salad. The rogan josh was pretty good, but didn't taste like rogan josh in my opinion. It was oily in my opinion. In my opinion, the star dish was the bihari kabobs. The chicken was marinated perfectly, it was juicy and not dry at all. Coupled with naan and their red and green chutney, it was little bits of heaven in my mouth. I also got a chance to speak to the owner. I told him I was excited to order the chapli kabobs, but $16 for two pieces of kabobs and naan was way to expensive in my opinion. I also gave him my feedback for the food. He told me they only use baby goat for the karahi, so the meat isn't chewy. I told him some pieces were a bit chewy, but overall good karahi. The service was sub par, but I understood because they had a party going on in the hotel's banquet hall. Not deducting anything for the service. Our server, Evelyn, was awesome. She had a good sense of humor and she did her best. Our naan did not come on time and Evelyn asked them several times but no joy. After waiting for ten minutes, I went to the front desk and asked them for the naan and they got it right away. I recommend this place. They just opened about three months ago. I appreciated the owner taking my feedback. He wasn't dismissive at all. He also told me that they aren't doing any buffets for the time being.

A newcomer to Masala Story I was impressed with the customer service, relaxed atmosphere and flavorful food. I got the Lamb curry with the Garlic Naan. (Only comes with one piece of Naan so keep that in mind). I got the mild spice but it had a tiny bit of kick that was good. It came with white basmati rice and chickpeas. Everything was packaged in a paper bag and the sides were double wrapped with foil and labeled on top to distinguish the different sides. I ordered the palak paneer (full side - $10), black daal (half side - $7), and veggie samosas. I'm not sure how the full and half translate to ounces, but side by side, I feel like I'm getting gypped somehow - like the half isn't half and the full isn't full (and not in a beneficial way)... you can look at my pics and be the judge. We enjoyed the veggie samosas ($7.50 on Grubhub, comes with two pieces). It was served with the sweet tamarind sauce (no mint cilantro chutney/green sauce). The samosas had good crunchy texture and weren't too spicy. The palak paneer and black daal were adequate but not my favorite. The palak paneer had a few large chunks of paneer at the bottom (but I wouldn't say generous) and the flavor was too gingery for me. The black daal was pretty standard in terms of flavor, and a little chunkier than I'm used to. But, I do love daal anything, so this fit the bill. Food was just okay overall - I don't plan on adding this place to my normal rotations.

The name "Sangam," which means "meeting and getting along," evokes the spirit of mutual trust inspired by a classic Indian film of the same name. This romantic notion sets the stage for a delightful culinary experience. Upon entering, you might not find opulence, but the restaurant exudes a cool, neat vibe. The ambiance is unpretentious, with two diligent South Indian girls serving food with a warm smile, creating a welcoming environment. The menu is a treasure trove of South Indian dishes, many of which may seem unfamiliar, especially for those from a Punjabi or Pakistani background. Though the choices can be overwhelming, the restaurant is particularly renowned for its Masala Dosa--a must-try for any visitor. Here are some of our favorite selections: Sukha Goshat: A flavorful dish reminiscent of bhuna meat, prepared with an array of spices, served alongside naan or paratha--perfect for a satisfying meal. Biryani: Their biryanis are noteworthy, bursting with rich flavors that stand out. Appetizers: We often start with Chicken 65 or Fish Chilli. The tangy, spicy Chicken 65 has a unique flavor that distinguishes it from typical offerings at Indian restaurants. If you ever plan to visit Sangam, I'd love to join you for this delightful culinary adventure!
