2 Chicken Kati Rolls with Fries
    Salomon F.

Came to the Virtual X Kitchen's Yelp Event on Wednesday, and I was so impressed that I couldn't resist returning to try their Krazy Kebob menu today. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary. I ordered two spicy chicken kati rolls along with a side of masala fries, and I am still in awe of how perfectly the flavors melded together. It is evident that Chef Nomie and his talented staff have a deep understanding of flavors and culinary artistry. The chicken was tender, succulent, and infused with just the right amount of heat. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, with the softness of the roll beautifully complementing the boldness of the chicken. The fries were seasoned perfectly. The balance between the crispy exterior and the fluffy interior was spot on. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Virtual X Kitchen. Chef Nomie and his team have truly created something exceptional with their Krazy Kebob menu. If you're a fan of innovative flavors that leave a lasting impression, this is the place to be.

This place in my opinion is a hidden gem. I got introduced to it by my sisters last year and have gone back at least once every month. That spicy chicken Kati roll has me in a choke hold. The perfect amount if spicyness and flavor in every bite. The pictures do not do it justice but two of these rolls will get you filled. It is a ghost kitchen so you have to order online and go and pick it up to eat at home or elsewhere. Service is always on point when I go. Would highly recommend if you ever want a little Indian & Pakistani flavors with Mexican.

Krazi Kebob is located at College Park, pretty much within the Maryland campus. I finally visited and got the Krazi Kati roll, which was not only very richly flavored, but was also quite filling. For people that appreciate hotness to their meals, this had a kick to it and was not too overwhelming with the spice. The interior is a little cozy, there is some space that can fit a small group, and multiple 2 people and individual bar style seating areas. The staff was very very polite and ensured that we were attended to and satisfied with out orders. Stop by for a quick lunch break, or sit in and enjoy the meal with amazing service.

I wish I knew earlier that Krazi Kebob is still in business via a virtual kitchen! So so happy I found out this week. Got a paneer pi-naan-za and a chicken naan burrito yesterday - both on garlic naan of course! I forgot to add a spicy chutney to my pi-naan-za, but other than that they were both so good!

Wish I found this place while I was still nearby! I was pretty impressed with the quality of the food. It's a build your own/chipotle-style place. Seating is somewhat limited if you're in a big group. They were out of falafel at the moment, so it was cooked fresh. I had a half chicken, half falafel bowl. Chicken was recommended by my friends and the employee making my bowl. Naan costs extra, unfortunately.

Let me start by the customer service, the staff were amazing and the owner was super friendly. We got the 1. Krazi Naan wrap (5/5) I got it with basmati rice with cilantro and lime and with chicken tikka and falafel ($2 more) but totally worth it. The chicken was cooked nice and the falafel had a great taste. See the picture for the sauce combinations. Everything was super tasty and for a price of $13. It will definitely come for two meals. 2. Khati Roll (5/5) The roll was soft and the meat was cooked perfectly with a kick of spice to it. 3. Mango lassi (4/5) it was good but I have had it better. We got a extra side with our order but they ran out of it and I asked to substitute for lassi and offered to pay the difference but the owner said it's on the house. It was such a nice gesture from him when all the local places are suffering from COVID. I highly recommend the place if you are craving for Indian food. Kudos to the staff as well. There is limited paid parking available.

I came here again on a Friday night to try krazi kebab again since I loved their kati rolls last time. I ordered their rice bowl with chicken, chickpeas, sauces, and toppings. I would not order the rice bowl again because it was just okay, chipotle or cava is better for similar price and more food. But I would come again for their kati rolls.

I love kati rolls and parathas. Krazi Kebob makes some really good ones. Got a chicken tikka and a beef boti kati rolls to go and found them to be delicious. The beef is good, but the chicken tikka is a must-try for non-veg eaters: tender chicken, tangy sauce, pickled onions stuffed inside a stretchy, chewy paratha. They're sold in singles and discounted doubles, but I could easily eat 3-4 in a sitting, they're that good. Owner-Chef Nomi was also kind enough to answer some of my questions about South Asian cuisine (get the Chicken Karahi if you want to see how good a restaurant's kitchen is), why South Asian fast-casual hasn't taken off in the US yet. After giving me a sample of his chicken tikka masala, he mentioned that he's looking to put together a new South Asian fast-casual location, possibly in Rockville. It's awfully exciting to hear, especially from someone whom I learned grew up only a few blocks away from me back in New York! (Get the kati rolls, seriously)

    Delicious Krazi Krunch Nachos

Can I get a round of applause for this amazingness?! So I stopped into this spot after convincing myself that i'd do so for months. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a kind and friendly employees. They asked me what I would like to order, and I ordered a Chicken Naan wrap (Customizable) and also a Naan Krunch, which are nachos that are also Customizable. I cannot begin to to tell you how many toppings I threw on both of the items, because it was so many. The nachos were oozing with flavor , hints of spicy and sweet all in one. The Naan wrap was extremely savory and you could taste every note of masala and fresh peppers! The portions were by all means generous, the food was well cooked, and the flavors were all the way there! I think that sums up for a five star review! Cheers to good eats everyone! Don't miss out on this gem of a spot!

Pretty bomb. I got the quesadilla. It turned out pretty fat and broke apart as I broke into it, but it was delicious. One of the employees described the restaurant as being "like a Chipotle, but with Afghan food". My naan quesadilla had rice, steak, tomato, corn, sour cream (or something), and cheese. It took like 5 min. for them to finish making it in the quesadilla maker, but it was okay because my quesadilla came out super fat. Glad I got my money's worth. The left side is the quesadilla and bowl side or whatever, and the right side was the salad side. You get to choose your toppings on the left side. I'm not sure what goes on in the right. Their chairs with arms are tiny. I was thinking about how much it would suck if an overweight person tried to sit in one. There are also metal stool chairs though. My review is missing a star because the employee I was talking to got so short-tempered with me when I asked her to repeat her words. Like damn, I can't hear you so speak up.

I spent every summer in this town, growing up, and I never discovered this restaurant until a precious friend brought me here a few years ago. It's a dated, though efficient, and charming, cafe with fresh dishes you might love. Firstly, if you plan on having lunch here on a Monday, make sure you are able to finish by 2:45 since they close by 3pm. All other days, they are open past 8pm. We started with the sweet potato soup despite the fact that the reviews for the lentil soup here are the highest. Yes! If it's featured: get it! The turmeric and coconut milk make this soup delightful. The herbs made it so fresh and there was just the right amount of sweetness and gentle heat. Parsley really adds to this recipe and I'm not usually a fan of this herb. The pitas are soft, thin and light. Love them. We needed to order more. I've never had such paper-thin pitas. Yum! I love love love the hummus, here. It is nothing short of divine. The flavors are fabulous and deeply complex. You can really taste the tahini. The olive oil is mild and delicious. I exclaimed, "the hummus was the best ever." And then 5 minutes later, I read a review by Yelper James H. where he says it's the best ever and, "... this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might have ruined all other hummus for me forever." While I've had similar swooning feelings over the hummus at Lebanese Taverna in Tyson's Corner, this hummus is at least a top contender if not the metro DC area's hummus winner. The cucumber mint yogurt salad is nice, cold and refreshing. You can really taste the mint. I would order this yogurt salad with every meal. The falafel pizza is unusual and fresh. Straight away-- you can taste the tahini, parsley and couscous. The dough is grainy and natural. And there are radishes on this falafel pizza: not overpowering. For the $9 or so pricepoint, this dish is a true labor of love. To prep all of these vegetables, even with food processors, must take time. How novel of a dish! Put the yogurt salad on this pizza. You will thank me. And I only did it because I was watching someone else slather it on. There were at least 12 desserts on the menu. Meow. If we weren't so full of pita, hummus, tahini and fresh veggies, we certainly would love to taste a few of these. As well as the Turkish coffee, with an authentic ceramic and metal carafé presentation.

The restaurant has a small outdoor dining area with three four-seater tables, which was find for our two dogs. The experience overall was pretty low key, which necessarily is not a bad thing. Although there is waiter/waitress service, you will have to order your food at the cashier's counter. Actually, maybe that's only a thing if you are dining outside. The menu has a nice mix of Middle Eastern dishes. I went with a beef (or maybe it was lamb) kabob plate. The portions were fine and my meal was pretty good. It was not out of this world amazing, but it got the job done. I thought that the prices were pretty good for the area and the amount of food received. Although the food was fine, I do not think that I would go out of my way (e.g., driving more than 30 minutes) to dine here. Just be aware that the restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages.

When I went to order, I told the lady at the counter, "I heard the food is good, but the reviews I read says the service is slow." Ei! She laughed and said, "Who said that?" Then she pointed around the restaurant and reminded me how busy they were. The auntie wasn't having it! She was friendly, playful, and very welcoming. I ordered the Fufu with Okra Soup (#6) and the Fish with Jollof Rice (#7), swapping the banku for jollof. Now tell me why my food came out in about 15 minutes! As she handed me my order, she looked at me with that little smile like, "So...where is that slow service now?" Chale, she got me. I couldn't even argue back. My experience was the complete opposite of what I had read in the Yelp reviews. As for the food...ahhh, now we're talking! Both dishes were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. It had some pepper, but not the kind that will make you start crying and looking for water everywhere. Just enough heat to enjoy the flavor. The portions were generous too, and the prices? Very reasonable... So no, you won't come here for the décor. You come because Auntie is back there cooking with love. Sometimes the places that don't look like much serve the best food. Chale...don't let the outside fool you. Come hungry.
