2 Chicken Kati Rolls with Fries
Jessica F.

My husband treated us to lunch from Krazi Kebob, and his recommendation of the Chicken Kati Rolls turned out to be an absolute game-changer for my taste buds. As someone unfamiliar with this type of food, I had no idea what to expect, but let me tell you, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Chicken Kati Rolls. The chicken was bursting with flavor. The recommended side of spicy sauce added an extra kick that elevated the overall experience. To complement the rolls, we also ordered fries. They were perfectly cooked and paired exceptionally well with a mayo dip. Adding to the positive experience was the seamless pick-up process. Ordering was a breeze, and when we arrived to collect our meal, everything was ready and waiting. Definitely coming back!

Came to the Virtual X Kitchen's Yelp Event on Wednesday, and I was so impressed that I couldn't resist returning to try their Krazy Kebob menu today. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary. I ordered two spicy chicken kati rolls along with a side of masala fries, and I am still in awe of how perfectly the flavors melded together. It is evident that Chef Nomie and his talented staff have a deep understanding of flavors and culinary artistry. The chicken was tender, succulent, and infused with just the right amount of heat. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, with the softness of the roll beautifully complementing the boldness of the chicken. The fries were seasoned perfectly. The balance between the crispy exterior and the fluffy interior was spot on. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Virtual X Kitchen. Chef Nomie and his team have truly created something exceptional with their Krazy Kebob menu. If you're a fan of innovative flavors that leave a lasting impression, this is the place to be.

This place in my opinion is a hidden gem. I got introduced to it by my sisters last year and have gone back at least once every month. That spicy chicken Kati roll has me in a choke hold. The perfect amount if spicyness and flavor in every bite. The pictures do not do it justice but two of these rolls will get you filled. It is a ghost kitchen so you have to order online and go and pick it up to eat at home or elsewhere. Service is always on point when I go. Would highly recommend if you ever want a little Indian & Pakistani flavors with Mexican.

Krazi Kebob is located at College Park, pretty much within the Maryland campus. I finally visited and got the Krazi Kati roll, which was not only very richly flavored, but was also quite filling. For people that appreciate hotness to their meals, this had a kick to it and was not too overwhelming with the spice. The interior is a little cozy, there is some space that can fit a small group, and multiple 2 people and individual bar style seating areas. The staff was very very polite and ensured that we were attended to and satisfied with out orders. Stop by for a quick lunch break, or sit in and enjoy the meal with amazing service.

I wish I knew earlier that Krazi Kebob is still in business via a virtual kitchen! So so happy I found out this week. Got a paneer pi-naan-za and a chicken naan burrito yesterday - both on garlic naan of course! I forgot to add a spicy chutney to my pi-naan-za, but other than that they were both so good!

Wish I found this place while I was still nearby! I was pretty impressed with the quality of the food. It's a build your own/chipotle-style place. Seating is somewhat limited if you're in a big group. They were out of falafel at the moment, so it was cooked fresh. I had a half chicken, half falafel bowl. Chicken was recommended by my friends and the employee making my bowl. Naan costs extra, unfortunately.

Let me start by the customer service, the staff were amazing and the owner was super friendly. We got the 1. Krazi Naan wrap (5/5) I got it with basmati rice with cilantro and lime and with chicken tikka and falafel ($2 more) but totally worth it. The chicken was cooked nice and the falafel had a great taste. See the picture for the sauce combinations. Everything was super tasty and for a price of $13. It will definitely come for two meals. 2. Khati Roll (5/5) The roll was soft and the meat was cooked perfectly with a kick of spice to it. 3. Mango lassi (4/5) it was good but I have had it better. We got a extra side with our order but they ran out of it and I asked to substitute for lassi and offered to pay the difference but the owner said it's on the house. It was such a nice gesture from him when all the local places are suffering from COVID. I highly recommend the place if you are craving for Indian food. Kudos to the staff as well. There is limited paid parking available.

I came here again on a Friday night to try krazi kebab again since I loved their kati rolls last time. I ordered their rice bowl with chicken, chickpeas, sauces, and toppings. I would not order the rice bowl again because it was just okay, chipotle or cava is better for similar price and more food. But I would come again for their kati rolls.

I love kati rolls and parathas. Krazi Kebob makes some really good ones. Got a chicken tikka and a beef boti kati rolls to go and found them to be delicious. The beef is good, but the chicken tikka is a must-try for non-veg eaters: tender chicken, tangy sauce, pickled onions stuffed inside a stretchy, chewy paratha. They're sold in singles and discounted doubles, but I could easily eat 3-4 in a sitting, they're that good. Owner-Chef Nomi was also kind enough to answer some of my questions about South Asian cuisine (get the Chicken Karahi if you want to see how good a restaurant's kitchen is), why South Asian fast-casual hasn't taken off in the US yet. After giving me a sample of his chicken tikka masala, he mentioned that he's looking to put together a new South Asian fast-casual location, possibly in Rockville. It's awfully exciting to hear, especially from someone whom I learned grew up only a few blocks away from me back in New York! (Get the kati rolls, seriously)

Can I get a round of applause for this amazingness?! So I stopped into this spot after convincing myself that i'd do so for months. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a kind and friendly employees. They asked me what I would like to order, and I ordered a Chicken Naan wrap (Customizable) and also a Naan Krunch, which are nachos that are also Customizable. I cannot begin to to tell you how many toppings I threw on both of the items, because it was so many. The nachos were oozing with flavor , hints of spicy and sweet all in one. The Naan wrap was extremely savory and you could taste every note of masala and fresh peppers! The portions were by all means generous, the food was well cooked, and the flavors were all the way there! I think that sums up for a five star review! Cheers to good eats everyone! Don't miss out on this gem of a spot!

Pretty bomb. I got the quesadilla. It turned out pretty fat and broke apart as I broke into it, but it was delicious. One of the employees described the restaurant as being "like a Chipotle, but with Afghan food". My naan quesadilla had rice, steak, tomato, corn, sour cream (or something), and cheese. It took like 5 min. for them to finish making it in the quesadilla maker, but it was okay because my quesadilla came out super fat. Glad I got my money's worth. The left side is the quesadilla and bowl side or whatever, and the right side was the salad side. You get to choose your toppings on the left side. I'm not sure what goes on in the right. Their chairs with arms are tiny. I was thinking about how much it would suck if an overweight person tried to sit in one. There are also metal stool chairs though. My review is missing a star because the employee I was talking to got so short-tempered with me when I asked her to repeat her words. Like damn, I can't hear you so speak up.

YUM!

THIS PLACE WAS FUN!…read more Traveling to DC for the history, Little Blue Menu is located a half-hour away from our nations capitol, and if you are a fan of regular Chick-Fil-A, then this place is right up your alley. Being a "test kitchen", this restaurant has some offerings not offered anywhere else. First thing I noticed was that at 1PM on a Tuesday, the restaurant was quite empty. I'd say there was about 15-20 patrons inside; most of the orders were all carry-out, which was surprisingly. However, the restaurant has a beautiful open-layout, and a lot of light coming in. Back to the food: of course I opted for the "odd" options found only on this location. I ordered the following: 8 piece bone-in chicken wings, sweet potato tater tots, and the very interesting Chick-Fil-A Pizza. As for the wings, they come in a variety of options - including sauced - but I wanted the crunch to stay intact. Rather than going wet, I asked for a side of Old-Bay seasoning and I sprinkled that on my wings. ALSO: they have HOUSE-MADE ranch. Not the factory ranch with the blue label, HOUSE-MADE. That was impressive. The wings were so good, lightly battered, and freshly-fried. On to the tots. They were also freshly-fried, but honestly? A bit bland! I had to sprinkle the old-bay on them too to have some kind-of taste. There was not even a slight sweetness. A bit of a letdown. Lastly, the PIZZA: the pizza cost $10.99, and for it's base it is Chick-Fil-A sauce, then topped with sliced chicken nuggets, cheese, pickle slice, and drizzled again with that Chick-Fil-A sauce. It was a DECENT PIZZA, cool in concept, but nothing to write home about. It tasted fine, it just wasn't mind-blowing. I added some crushed pepper to add another "element" to it. It was kind of needed. OOOOH. For my drink, this was crazy: I got a Blue Boba Breaker. What is it? The employee told me its flavered with Huckleberry? That's cool! Topped with a cold foam, and boba on the bottom --- this drink slapped! 5/5 RECCOMEND! LOVED IT!

This interesting find popped up in my Grubhub search for random bites. What grabbed my attention?…read moreThe NYC-style chicken/lamb over rice (IYKYK). Having lived in NYC for a couple of decades, I pretty much survived off of chicken or lamb over rice especially after a late night of clubbing, partying and boozing. So, I decided to take a bit of a walk down memory lane...(unfortunately) without the clubbing, partying and boozing. First, I thought the prices for {protein} over rice bowls were pretty fair at 15-16 bucks. For the most part, I was pleased when my order arrived to my house. I would have preferred that the bowl came with a bit more protein (in my case, lamb), but the amount of lamb provided was a decent amount. From my NYC days, I was used to the bowls/platter being filled to the brim with your meat of choice. To be frank, I was expecting a soggy mess when the food arrived because I assumed that the restaurant would add the white sauce to the bowl. However, I was so glad that the restaurant provided the white sauce in its own container. Also, the restaurant provide a decent amount of the sauce because it is not {protein} over rice without the white sauce. ;) The restaurant provides two levels of heat (mild and spicy). Since I was unfamiliar with the restaurant, I decided to play it safe and go with mild. Next time, I'll take the risk and go with spicy...I'm not sure if I will be brave enough to go with the special super spicy sauce (or whatever it was called) in the future. All in all, I had a nice delivery experience with Krazi Kabbob and hope to try some more things from their menu.

Thursday 4/10/2025…read more This spot was put on my radar by a co-worker who had a lot of praise to say about it. This was the number 1 spot she had recommended, so I decided to visit. I got a combination of items she recommended, popular items, and items that looked good. It's a ghost kitchen that's home to 5 different food vendors, but I only tried items from 4 of the 5 vendors: Krazi Kebob, Krazi Chicken, Krazi Burrito, and Kebob Joint. Also, since it's a ghost kitchen, it's only takeout. I made my order online and got the 2x chicken Kati rolls w/ fries $13, bone-in chicken skewer plate w/ white sauce $10, handmade mango lassi $5, garlic naan chicken tikka quesadilla $15.49, 6 ct Krazi jerk 99 cent wings $5.94, chicken burrito $10, and 2x handmade samosas $4.25. - The chicken Kati rolls were good. I don't know what bread it is as it's not naan, but it was enjoyable. Also, the chicken had to be halal based on its look and taste. - The fries were alright, nothing noteworthy about them. - The naan quesadilla looked and sounded very good, but it sadly wasn't as good as expected. It resembled a calzone more than a quesadilla, and it wasn't particularly cheesy as it was described. Also I got the garlic naan for a $2 upcharge and there wasn't anything "garlic" about it which sucks, cause that's a waste of $2. Very unique, but ultimately I should've got the naan wrap instead. - The Krazi jerk wings were good, and the sauce was decent. 99 cents per wing is a great price, and I would be open to trying more wing flavors. - The chicken skewer plate was alright, but it was carried by the very well-seasoned chicken. Also, the white sauce didn't add much to the experience. - The mango lassi was okay, but I've had plenty better. - The samosas were okay, but when I got them, they weren't hot or warm at all. But the experience was elevated once warmed up and paired with the tamarind sauce. - The burrito was below average, and it was cold. It was small and it lacked a lot of the filling that I had expected, as the tortilla itself was present due to its many layers. Overall, the spot wasn't as good as I had expected due to the high praise from my coworker, but it was still decent. My favorites were the chicken Kati rolls and the Krazi jerk wings, I'd come back for them.
