    Butter Chicken

This review is for the food only. I ordered from here for the first time on Door Dash bc our usual go-to Indian place has been inconsistent lately. * The Butter Chicken was on the sweeter side, but my family still enjoyed it. Although the chicken wasn't dry, it also wasn't as tender as some other restaurants. * The Lamb Rogan Josh was mild in flavor but very tender. * The Tandoori Chicken was a huge serving but was again not the juiciest tandoori I've had. * The Palak Paneer was good. Large portion. Lots of cheese. Good flavor. * The Chicken Cheese Naan was delicious. First time we've ever had that. The regular nan and garlic nan were good too. Nice and fluffy. * The MoMo Chicken dumplings were delicious but fiery! We weren't expecting that since the description didn't mention anything about it being spicy. * The Mango Lassi was yummy, but the color is very bright orange and off-putting. Looks like way too much food coloring. Overall, we'd order from here again.

It's been a while since I initially reviewed this business. Not much has changed as far as my experiences here. I come so often I think they recognize me! I pretty much get the same thing - chicken tikka masala, but here and there I switch it up and get the tandoori chicken. I only do take-out, but one of these days I plan to dine in. I've tried several other Indian spots in the area, and this is still one of my faves. The prices have gone up over the years, but that's everywhere. The portions are still generous, and the food always taste great. They're good with adjusting the level of spiciness to your liking. I do spicy but not over the top! If you haven't been yet and you enjoy Indian cuisine, add this place to your list. The people here are very nice!

We have been going to this restaurant for years. It's so good that I always forget to take pictures! The place is always clean and set up to be seated immediately. The servers are always kind. The food is spectacular! You cannot go wrong with anything you order. Today we tried their fried chicken dumplings it comes with a peanut type sauce! Very savory! We also always get their chicken tandoori , today we tried their "boneless" version, I do usually order the normal one which I feel is much more flavorful it comes with a size of lentils and has pickled carrots, tastefully done! My husband ordered the kabob tandoori which has chicken, goat and a form of sausage he really enjoyed. We also got butter chicken which you can never go wrong with. If you're a vegetarian I also recommend the Chana masala which is chickpeas with potato and onion. Our favorite drink is their mango lassie!

What a pleasant surprise! My friend had a hankering for Indian food after a walk at Brookside Garden, so we took a chance on the great reviews at Curry Place. So glad we did! It's a welcoming and cheerful place, with brightly colored walls and nice decor. They do a brisk carry out business, but only a few of us eating in. Our server was very polite and friendly. We ordered the samosa chat and a plain sweet lassi for appetizers, plus chicken korma and tandoori chicken as mains, and garlic naan. Everything was delicious! The samosa chat - a samosa cut up and covered in chickpeas, yogurt, tamarind and mint sauces, and chopped onions - was great. Messy, but great. The garlic naan was so tasty. I liked the chicken korma just fine, but the star of the meal for me was the tandoori chicken - served sizzling hot, super juicy, delicious delicious delicious! I liked the pickled carrots on top and the little bed of cooked cabbage abs carrots below the chicken. The sides of dal and rice were fine, but not spectacular. It's in a shopping plaza with like five other restaurants I also want to try - decisions, decisions.

    Saag paneer

Everything was bland and flavorless. I ordered saag paneer and it tasted like creamed spinach from a box. Mother ordered lamb korma and no flavor and lamb was very chewy. Chai tea tasted like tea with milk and no chai whatsoever. Very disappointing.

Food here was okay but probably wouldn't rerun. Their eggplant dish wasn't what I normally expect from Indian restaurants. The saag was fine but I thought the naan was a bit too crispy. Prices are good though

Ordered food here and the quantities were great. The butter chicken was tasty and had a rich texture. Goat vindaloo had the perfect seasoning. Garlic naan was fresh and delicious. Had gulab jamun & rasmalai for dessert which were absolutely divine. They were both on the sweeter side and perfect for individuals with a sweet tooth. Our waiter was so attentive and friendly.

    Lamb Rogan Josh

I'm obsessed with Curry Place! Their rich, flavorful curries and grill, perfectly spiced meats have ruined me for all other Indian food. 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 if I could! I love their Lamb Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken. I would highly recommend to try them. Their service is excellent as well as super fast. The Best thing is they said they serve Halal foods. The best Halal food in the town, I must say!

We absolutely love the palak paneer and lamb vindaloo. We have only done carry out, but they are pretty quick and the food is always still hot after the 20-25min drive home. Good portion sizes for the price as well.

And I'm sad we did, because the food was NOT good. We ordered - Impossible meat momos 3/5 - they were okay...not the best and not the greatest. The flavor was hiding and the momo did not stay in tact at all. The sauce that they served alongside did not enhance the momo at all. Veggie momo 3/5 - again, they were okay. In fact, I think these were worst than the impossible meat momos. Didn't seem like there was any flavor and just veggies mushed together with salt and pepper. Raita 3/5 - way too liquidy for my liking. I thought they would at least provide rice, but no. So it was just basically liquid yogurt with a couple of strips of cucumbers and carrots. Paneer chili 0/5 - the container literally said 'paneer chili' and after 2/3 bites, I asked my friend if this was actually paneer because it was kind of chewy? Of course it wasn't and it was chicken!! I'm vegetarian so I was so disappointed that they put the wrong item in our order, especially since the container explicitly said paneer. This morning I woke up with a terrible stomachache. The food definitely did not sit right with me. I'm definitely going to skip this place and try Moh Moh Licious next time.

Very cute and quiet! The food was tasty and the drink was pretty good. Service was good and quick.read more

So, it's been a while since my family and I last went out to eat at a restaurant, and we landed on…read morethis one since it was both nearby and the prices reasonable for the fare that they offer. My wife and I had been here for lunch before and had a good experience, so this time we figured why not check it out for dinner? Turns out, it was a great idea. The wait for the food was a bit on the longer end, but to be perfectly fair, we ordered a LOT, so we certainly didn't mind. By the time the food hit the table, we forgot about it almost entirely because the smells of freshly made kitfo, lamb tibs, and this stewed chicken dish whose name I can't remember (but it came with a hardboiled egg!) hit our nose, nothing else mattered. The food was presented in a way that somehow matched the overall vibe of the restaurant, which at this time of night was set to be kinda toned down with dingy lighting and smooth music. Huge call out to my waiter that I curse myself for not getting his name, because he is, simply put, the best server I've ever had at a restaurant. Not only was he timely and discreet about topping off our waters, but also checked in about soft drinks as well, and when he heard my son saying the food was too spicy for him, he took it upon himself to get him something else to eat that wasn't spicy at all, and without myself or my wife asking. If you're looking for a great place to eat with a killer atmosphere and even better service, you've found it.

I had another destination in mind, but when I saw the sign that said they had indian, nepalese, and…read moreEthiopian food, I stopped in my tracks. It wasn't a platter type of night, but both Indian and Ethiopian cuisines have some great appetizers, so we stopped in after a movie. It was cool to see the breakdown of a vibey bar scene on one side and a sit down area on the other period both sides had the World Cup showing, so there was really no going wrong. The woman who greeted us led us to decide where we wanted to go. According to their hours, they are open until 1AM. We decided to get the stuffed naan basket, sambusas, and chicken momos -- A nice but fairly light spread for the evening. We or later told that they were finished with the naan basket... For an Indian restaurant more than 3 hours before they closed, that was surprising to me... I should have specified whether it was naan in general or just that basket, but still. The other two items came after 25 minutes or so. The sambusas were fried HARD, but had a great flavor. The momos were solid! We had a good time catching up, and they did great keeping water refilled (mostly). It took a while to close out -- they probably thought we were invested in the game and not in a hurry, but it's a weeknight and we were on Metro's time. I am curious about their proper Indian and Ethiopian entrees ... By the way, I saw a mouse right before we left... It was in the back on the dining room side past the tables.
