tables and chairs in a restaurant
    Zack I.

Last night was my second time visiting this place, probably the last as well.. The place has a 'good' hookah, so that's the 1 star worth, and the food is 'okay' it might deserve another star, but that's it for me. Giving it another chance, I was hoping for a better overall experience, but nothing changed my mind. In terms of service, they had many servers scheduled on that shift, however, there was no coordination among them, so few servers would stop by one after the other asking you the same question, then multiple items would show up or nothing at all.. So the whole service thing is a mess By watching other tables, they also seem to over book/reserve the same table for other groups at the same time, overlapping each other. The overall condition of the place, it requires MAJOR cleaning, renovating and re-decorating. It looks more like a place from the 80s.. It has a great potential when it comes to the shisha flavour, but it fails on many other levels

    Horrible service

WORST SERVICE ever!!!!!!! Don't get a seat out in the patio, you will be ignored! First and foremost... we got seated for 15 mins with no menu, we tried to get the servers attention but no eye contact was given, acknowledgement, or menus! When we finally saw a server, he ignored us. When we finally got his attention and placed our orders...the server had to come back 2x to double check our orders. The shisha came first and not bad! Blue mist and grape mint are my fave. Then our green tea with mint leaves came. Those two orders came quick! But then.....It took 2 hours to get 1 chicken shawarma with NO FRIES! The two tables beside us already left and we still didn't get the shawarma. It took the owner to come to our table and bring us the shawarma in 10 minutes. The server clearly lied about the shawarma coming out "soon" when we first checked up on the order. We couldn't even ask to check up on it the second time because the server just never came back. He obviously did not enter it. They forget your orders, and the server does not know what a chamomile tea vs. Black tea is from my past experience. The server argued to convince me that the black tea he was serving me was "chamomile tea"... the tea bag clearly states "black tea" omg, for the love of GOD! I have also noticed people putting up their hand to grab the waiters attention, and he just ignored them. I've been here more than once and I can honestly say they have not improved! WORST SERVICE EVER! They need proper training. Never again.

Beef Kofta plate, beef was amazing, rice was perfect, great spices on the fries and fresh made bread....

Good food, good shisha, casual atmosphere, great place to just hang out with friends, eat, chat or play cards...(no alcohol)

First time coming to this restaurant and actually first time eating at any restaurant in Brampton…read more Came here as a big group of 42 and they gave us a closed off section right by the entrance to the right just behind the soft drinks section. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted to a very clean and modern ambience that reminded me kind of like some of the big buffets in Las Vegas. Very cool setup where they have 3 self serve fountain drinks which is included in your buffet price. In the middle they have a grilling area where they are grilling Basa fish, salmon, chicken, sirloin steak. The steak was amazing they put this butter, garlic garnish on top that makes it so delicious. I had 8 of these steaks this evening! They also had a stir fry, soup noodle where you can choose your own ingredients, different vegetables and protein and carbs for them to either turn into a stir fry or soup noodle. They had plenty of ice cream to choose from as well as a soft serve ice cream machine. The service provided by the employees were top notch, so friendly, and helpful. Very pleased with my experience and just to note my visit was on a Friday night so your good selections may be different depending on a weekday or weekend.

The sushi rice was overcooked, and the sushi kept falling apart every time I tried to pick it up. The food prepared at the live cooking station was very watery, and the salmon was dry and lacked flavor. The customer service also did not meet my expectations, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. The chef's cooking felt rushed and, in my opinion, lacked the care and attention I usually hope for when dining out. Even the dessert was a letdown. My 9-year-old commented that the ice cream toppings were disappointing, which was surprising considering how simple that part of the meal should be. To make things even more heartbreaking, this was my birthday. I wasn't expecting a big celebration or for the staff to sing to me, but I had hoped for a small gesture, a simple slice of cake with a candle or even just a sincere "Happy Birthday" from the waitress or a manager. I understand restaurants aren't obligated to do this, but a little hospitality on a special occasion can leave a lasting positive impression. Instead, I left feeling disappointed. I traveled all the way from Scarborough to celebrate here, and unfortunately, it will be my last visit. Positive: Unlimited lemonade Great ice machine. Pizza was "all right"

When we had first arrived, we were told that it would be a two-hour wait, and that we would need to have a pager with us at all times that would be used to notify us once a table was ready. We weren't able to get a pager immediately as they were all being used therefore, we had to wait at least fifteen minutes before we were able to get one. Once we had that pager in hand, we waited about one hour for our table, which was actually not as long as we had expected. Upon entering the restaurant via an escalator from the first floor, we were pleased to see how picturesque it was. With the large windows showcasing the horse racing at the time, along with the tables that boasted their own private television screens, we were impressed with how wonderful and inviting everything looked. Upon being seated, we were given programs on the betting available for the evening's races, which was detailed with everything we needed to know. We also noticed that there was a middle-aged woman coming around, asking us if we were interested in placing bets during our dining experience. The diners went wild during the races, which created an exciting, yet sometimes, loud atmosphere. In terms of the dining, I was pleasantly surprised with how many options were available. Since it was only $12.95 (with a Winners Circle Card), I was blown away at how much food was placed within the buffet area, with an area dedicated to bread with a variety of spreads, another area with salads and other cold appetizers (such as artichokes, cold cuts, cheese, etc.), a hot table (with such items as lasagna, pizza, chicken, fish, and more), along with a dessert section, which boasted a wide variety of desserts, and a few dishes of fruit. All of the items were well-prepared, and everything tasted fantastic, with each item at the hot table coming onto my plate hot (temperature-wise), which is rare to find in a buffet. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this buffet, and would highly-recommend it to anyone who wants delicious food, at a low price. The only thing that I didn't like was the waiting period, and how slow it was, considering that many guests usually sit there the entire evening, watching the races and eating for hours on end. Although this is definitely the idea of the trackside buffet, it could have been the reason why we were so delayed in getting to our table. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait, and will definitely be going again!

There was plenty of wait staff on site but communication between staff was quite poor. No one ever came by to see if we needed anything or to ask if we wanted additional drinks or the like. So we found ourselves having to constantly hail wait staff. A large portion of the weekend buffet was seafood. You would expect that when serving lobster and crab the tableware would include for seafood crackers. This is not the case. I asked for seafood crackers from two different wait staff and was advised they didn't have any. So I went to the matre d' and asked, she went into the back and brought some out for our table. If you serving lobster and crab, the restaurant should either provide crackers or pre- cut the claws ready to eat. With regard to the food, I would have thought they would have served some rolls or bread but we had to ask for this special. As well, most all the food was cold. So all in all, I expected more but a 3 star rating is about all I would give.

Not sure who decided that was a good idea. Interesting because they did come around to tell us about their wine options. The quantity and variety of the buffet was fine, efficiency quite good and wait staff were all kind, however the quality of the offerings was lacking. I would put the actual food part of the meal in the mediocre category.

Their biryani is excellent and the bhindi with roti was really good. Tandoor chicken had a nice char taste and the butter chicken was really smooth. The fried fish was pretty good and not spicy. They offer a decent amount of items for lunch. They only put a little out at a time in the tray which is good as they bring out fresh made food ongoing. I would say though you are better off to go for dinner as it's only $4 more and you get a whole lot more items. The lunch doesn't have lacha paratha's, Haleem, warm gulab jamuns in the sauce and many other items. I was really disappointed. The other negative is that beverage nor tea is included in this price. Other buffets include A beverage AND tea! I might return but only for dinner not lunch.

Overall, the lobster and steak were definitely the highlights of the meal. The food was good, but unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing. I understand that people come here for the food that everyone raves about, but for me, good service is just as important as good food. Unfortunately, the service was very mediocre. It may have been due to a language barrier, but our food came out at completely different times, so we weren't able to enjoy our meal together. We also asked for ice water when we first sat down, but it wasn't brought to us until we were already halfway through our meal--and only after we asked each server who had walked by us. We had to ask multiple times for both ice water and rice before we finally found someone who understood what we were asking for and was able to help us. This was our first visit and, unfortunately, probably our last. If you're coming strictly for the food, I would recommend the lobster tower and aged steak--they were definitely the best parts of our meal. However, if you're looking for a great overall dining experience but don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese, you may want to keep the service experience in mind.
