We had come here on a Saturday afternoon at around 12:30 pm for lunch. Since we weren't that hungry, we decided to settle on the a-la-carte menu instead of the buffet. We had chosen the butter chicken with butter naan and rice, along with the chicken kebobs. The butter chicken was actually a large portion, and it tasted delicious. Among three people, we were each able to have a good-sized amount, along with the naan and rice which were used to scoop up the sauce. The chicken kebobs were very spicy, and difficult to eat without any rice and sauce mixed in. Service was a tad slow, as there were different groups of individuals coming at different times. The atmosphere was elegant, with fancy wall decor, and inviting table settings. Overall, the food was well-prepared however, was a tad pricey for our liking. Or dosa, masala dosa, onion masala or mysore dosa (it's extra spicy). Or pav. Which all are even rarer. There're also South Indian dishes here, as well as gol gappa (panipuri). Solid 4 stars. It really is a grand place in terms of decor and atmosphere. Very wide buffet offerings - came in the evening and it was $25/person. Not too bad for the buffet. I have to also say service was amazing. All the servers were so prompt, kind and considerate. They even brought fresh naan to our table. They have a nice station for pani puri, some great desserts like barfi, ice cream, and cookies, and ask for the mains lots of curries, biryani, samosas, butter chicken. My favourite mains were the masala fries and the butter chicken. Naan was also extremely good. Desserts could have been better, but all in all a great spot with great service! read more

My rating is 2.5 stars. My team came here last Thursday for our Christmas lunch. I had originally suggested another restaurant, but it wasn't open on Thursdays. Bummer. My manager found Kwality Grand Indian Buffet at Courtneypark and asked me whether we have been there as a team. Yep, I'm his memory vault. I let him know that I've never been, but have walked by several times to get to other eateries. Kwality is located where all the restaurants are at Cineplex Courtneypark. I like catching a movie here and grabbing a bite to eat. It's also where Denny's is. A colleague drove my manager and I over to the restaurant. It was snowing. It was pretty and the roads were good under the circumstances. I suggested that we park where Denny's is, as Kwality is right across from it. So, we did. Before going into Kwality, you are greeted with a beautiful display of empty wine bottles. I walked inside and nearly slipped on the floor. Snow, sneakers, and a slick floor are not a great combination! The second set of doors are pretty. The downside is that they don't shut properly. I'll elaborate more on this issue later. If you are a party of eight people and higher, you can make a reservation. We were a group of seven people. My manager didn't even think of making it a group of eight and saying that one couldn't join us when we got there. We just showed up and took a chance. We were seated at a table. It was freezing cold inside. It felt like we were outdoors. We were seated perhaps twenty feet away from the second set of entrance doors. They didn't shut properly, so there was a draft. Folks were coming in and out, so it was always cold. We looked at the two thermometers. The temperature was 16°C on one and 17°C on the other. I am typically warm and don't layer clothing all that often. I was chilled. It wasn't a good start. My manager asked a server whether we could move to a different part of the restaurant. She said that all those tables were reserved. She then offered to make the overall temperature inside warmer. Frankly, I didn't feel a difference. We hit the buffet. My manager was kind to get me a bowl of chicken soup. It was essentially broth with some vegetable flavour. It warmed me up, but it wasn't something that I would get again as far as tastiness goes. It is gorgeous inside this restaurant. I loved the chandeliers, wine bottles, and more. The buffet area is bright and cheerful. I will say that it's nice that staff indicate whether foods have nuts in them. However, a sign with "contain's nuts" drove me literally nuts. We were a group of writers. I went ahead and removed the apostrophe from the glass, which made a colleague and my manager nod in agreement. The food is okay. I had two dosas. They were passable, but greasy. I loved the goat curry and tandoori chicken. Both were tender and flavourful. Everything else was neither amazing, nor horrible. The food was simply okay. I had the garlic naan. It was tough. It was sad. My favourite dessert at Indian restaurants is halwa. The halwa offered here wasn't yummy. It was a glop of mush, with no real flavour. It was highly disappointing. I felt sick after eating two plates of food. I think the grease that I had consumed, and the chilly climate, made me feel chilled. My manager noticed and recommended that I leave work early after I got back to get my stuff. Leaving early was the highlight of this outing. Sad. There is plenty of parking here. I don't recommend coming here unless you wear layers of clothing, bring a heated electric blanket, and like bland food. Brar's and Tandoori Flame are still my favourite Indian buffets in Mississauga. We came here on a Friday for lunch. For the price and the selection I'd say it wasn't bad. I appreciated that all of the meat and veggies selections were on different rows which made it easy for us veggie heads to find our food. I absolutely loved how they had a poori station. Poori is my weakness and half of what I ate was probably just this alone. I really liked the fresh naan, and apparently so did everyone else since it was always out. I would say it's worth coming here for lunch since the price is right and the restaurant is large enough to accomodate a lunch crowd read more

Price is very reasonable and bring your stretchy pants, as you will be very full after a very satisfying meal. The naan is available with butter and garlic butter and they also do the serve on the appetizer. Eating indian food is still an untracked territory for me...so its pretty difficult to describe. The restaurant did have some selection on proteins. I want to disclose be careful of the signage for price. I stepped in late at night and did not read carefully the pricing, the dinner serving will rough you around 32$ per person on a weekend/holiday. From an amateur indian food eater, I do find much more comfort I the $10-15 ayce lunch specials in some restaurant in Guelph or Daily rated $12-16 ayce dinner for amateur eaters. But if you know what you want, definitely worth stepping into this location. I found the dessert area pretty messy because kids would have fun dropping ice cream everywhere and a regular attendee may be needed to keep it clean. The interior is well decorated. Modern. The restaurant has impressive decorations- very classy! Gives the guests a grand environment. It's spacious to for a large number of guests and gives a feeling of luxury and ease. Service was great too, as we had gone for the lunch buffet, mostly it was self serve, but we found the staff courteous and attentive. Unfortunately can't say the same about the quality of food - which is the main thing that draws you to an eating joint. In terms of variety they've covered every kind of choice well, however the dahi bhallas were hard and tasted like they're from the previous day, the gol guppas were not so crisp and the kheer hardly tasted sweet- these are just a few examples. Ever since the sign was posted that this restaurant was coming in the Old Glow in the Dark mini putt location, I was counting the days. It is located in the Courtneypark plaza. I think it took over a year but it finally opened. Today, I had a chance to try it out. I went for lunch today and I was impressed as soon as I walked in. The decor and the place its impressive. The restaurant is divided into a dining, bar/patio and the buffet areas. However, in terms of food, it was so disappointing. I know it's buffet so you have to lowered your expectations but it wasn't very good. The food was so bland, with no hint of spice. Also in terms of meats, there was no beef, mostly chicken, one goat curry, fish tikka and fried shrimp. For $18, there's better value elsewhere. Service was just average and the place wasn't even busy. The 2* is based on the decor alone. Not recommended. P.S. Was pleasantly surprised by the selection of food here. Lots of veggie curries, lots of grilled non-veg items as well as non-veg curries. The food tasted good! You can order fresh naans from your table and they will bring it directly to you. Personally, I thought that the dessert stations were just okay. The rasmalai tasted dry for some reason, like it was out of a can. The carrot halwa was really good! There's also a cookie station which seemed out of place to me. There were also no drinks menu so when our waitress asked which drinks we would like, we ended up having to ask if they had this or that. No refills either, which is okay, but the glasses were kind of small. Customer service was really good! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. The decor was amazing! Went here for dinner tonight and I think I'll start with the good. The buffet room is really nice - it's actually a completely separate room. But that's about where the good things end. The food is pretty terrible. Everything was pretty cold- likely because the lids were not on for any of the foods, any time I went in. They do have a huge variety but it is all of terrible quality. There's too much salt in some stuff and too much spices in many. The naan was chewy and crispy and not enough of it was being made, causing lineups for it at the buffet. The gulab jamun was barely warm (even after someone came in to refill it) and it was hard. The deserts tasted like they were bought from the sale rack at no frills and my friend and I were unable to take more than one bite. I'm a huge food lover and will usually eat anything but I ended up throwing a lot of food here. It was a waste of my time and money. I definitely will not be returning and urge everyone to stay away! So, they spent quite a lot of money in beautifully done interiors which is quite evident from the entrance itself. But don't let that fool you into believing that food will match the high standards you might expect for a $26 per head buffet! Chaat station offers pani puri by the count of 4 which in itself is a hassle if you want more. Food stations are well kept but surprisingly food isn't even lukewarm. As of the taste, I found most of the curries lacking any distinct flavour. Bhatura was oily to the point where I gave up after first bite. Steam rice were undercooked and hard to bite in. Noodles could have used more time on the pan too. The only main course item I found worthwhile was Aloo Gobhi. As for the desserts, way average. We are seriously disappointed in this place after walking into a glamorous setting. Hope their food matches up with the price they charge. read more

Ignore the negative reviews. It's lovely. I travel for work a lot so I have sampled quite a few Indian buffets. This one has good food, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, plenty of vegetarian options and plenty of spicy options. There are lots of choices and plenty of good flavors. The wait staff was great! I went on a Thursday evening and they were very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and has a fun decor. I'm glad I read between the lines and decided to give them a chance. We took our daughter to the movies and my wife and I thought that we'd give Kwality Grand Indian Buffet a try. Indian food is fun and delicious to eat and this place does it well. The food variety is awesome with something for everyone; the only thing that makes it a four is the lack of Indian sweets. One thin that deserves to be mentioned is the great and friendly service from all staff and specially our waiter Rajesh; he alone is reason enough to come back. Keep up the good work!! read more

Having recently moved to Mississauga, we had added this restaurant to our list to try. Unfortunately Covid-19 arrived and wiped out the potential full experience of the buffet. We did give it a try as an a la carte eating outside. The server was pleasant and able to steer us both to good choices as we are diametrically opposite eaters (spicy vs. mild).
