I was forced to pay a $200 penalty because I didn't know that his office closed at noon on Friday. Who runs a business like that? They also cannot figure out why I have rapid gastric emptying other than blaming it on my celiac and refusing to move forward with any other testing. My doctor was sweet and nice, but unfortunately I did not feel like my concerns were taken seriously or that I was actually getting the help I needed. They said no to further testing, and did not give me any treatment, just told me to see a dietitian. They also said NO to giving me a referral to the Mayo Clinic and NO to a doctor's note when I missed an entire semester of school because I was severely sick!! This was despite my bloodwork showing proof that I was sick and the fact that I even had to go to the ER. I shared everything with my primary care doctor, and she found this to be ridiculous that i had to go to her when my gastroenterologist should have approved this. She finally gave me the Mayo Clinic referral that I truly needed and doctor's note for school so I could get the proper evaluation I needed instead of continuing to be dismissed. I would not recommend this office to anyone who is dealing with a complicated or ongoing medical issue.
