This place has been around for about a year now I think…read more It's a family run establishment and everyone helps out. They make excellent hummus in a multitude of varieties. Some of my favorites are the beet hummus and the caramelized onion hummus. But their regular hummus is delicious as well. It's a great alternative to the store-bought stuff and works out to be considerably less expensive to boot. They have savory and sweet pastries as well and I'm especially fond of their samosas. They also make stuffed grape leaves, which are awesome. I highly recommend you stop by and grab some food to go.

It's a small family run middle eastern store and sort of deli, they have a lot of middle eastern spices and things for purchase in their store, including sumac (way cheaper than any other place I could find). You're usually greeted by the owner or the cook when you walk in, and they're very friendly so you feel right at home when you walk in. They have a deli counter where they have premade humus with tons of flavor options including roasted garlic, cilantro, etc (hint try the beet one it's one of my favorites and is amazing) and different types of middle eastern salads and samosas. I have legitimately never had anything bad from behind the counter; but my favorite is when you order food to be made like a chicken plate or a lamb gyro or shawarma.. I don't know what they put in their food but man is it addicting. Also you almost never get this anymore but they make evening from SCRATCH. This is hands down the best kept secret in Solon, and is much better than the large middle eastern restaurants or chains, and cheaper by quite a bit.

Even though I was ordering to go, they promptly helped me and even offered a comfortable seat on their couch while I waited. My food was ready in about 10 minutes--fast and efficient. I ordered the lamb skewers dinner, which came with rice, pita, and a cup of lentil soup. The lamb was fantastic: nicely seasoned, tender, and cooked perfectly. This was a great experience all around. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Erie so I can order again and try more items from their menu. Solid choice for quick, high-quality Mediterranean food--highly recommend!

It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night and they just had one girl working who was doing a fantastic job. She was waiting tables, and cashing out customers, and trying to help with the DoorDash orders. It is a nicely decorated restaurant inside with cute wood cuttings on the walls. We sat in a booth near the back. We ordered the baba ghanoush, which was a large portion and came with pita bread. The pita bread could've been a little fresher I think that was our only complaint. The dip was great though, very flavorful & topped with tomatoes. I ordered the chicken Shawarma platter & it came with a massive amount of kepsa rice (you can also just get plain rice, but I do recommend this special kind of rice cooked in tomato and seasonings). I got lentil soup as my side. My husband got the chicken kebab platter and I have to say after tasting the kebab that it was outstanding and I liked grilled kabobs even better than my chicken Shawarma. He had a nice size side salad as his side, and he also ordered a lentil soup in addition which comes with lemon & crispy pita chips. We had an entire box of food, including probably 4 cups of rice and half of both of our chicken portions to take home. We also had a little bit of the baba ghanoush pita bread to take home as well. We would definitely return to this place. They had free refills on sodas as well. As we were leaving, a guy came in trying to order and kept asking the price... Whatever he wanted to order he did not have enough money for and the girl finally said don't worry about it. She'll take care of it and she'll let him order it anyway! So that was nice. I mean that's not something that normal restaurants would do!

I consistently recommend MoMo's as the best Cleveland Heights dining experience even considering…read moreall the other dining gems in the city. My former Moroccan colleague recommended this restaurant to me years ago, and I frequently enjoy eating here. MoMo's is a heartwarming immersion into Moroccan culture and cuisine. It always fills my belly and my soul. AMBIANCE: Open space dining room with a Moroccan flair - tagines, Moroccan arches, ornate plates, and camels. Your party can take a sit at one of the tables or nooks. Nooks have blankets and pillows for ultimate relaxation. Lighting is pleasantly dim with a few Moroccan lanterns overhead. The restaurant is usually pleasantly quiet. FOOD: The menu is very simple yet features the most delicious Moroccan dishes. The restaurant caters well to vegetarians and vegans, my friend used to join me for dinners (she's vegan). I prefer to order tagine (Moroccan stew) with lamb ($23) and Moroccan tea ($5 for a teapot, refillable). The two most perfectly combine. Moroccan stew is served in tagine. The meal includes a tasty salad and bread. Stew includes generous pieces of lamb, potatoes, and carrots. The stew is always so hearty. Moroccan tea is so delicious. It's a combination of green tea, mint tea, and sugar. Momo pours it in the most interesting and theatrical way. A must drink and see. The tea is served in a traditional tea pot. You'll sip it from an ornate glass. It's always perfectly steeped. The restaurant is alcohol free. SERVICE: Chef Mohammed (Momo) takes the time to socialize with guests and is incredibly welcoming. Momo shared that his dream is to retire in Morocco and live mountainside among the olive trees. So, you'll really feel the love for Morocco and learn about the culture. The service is just incredible! I highly recommend MoMo's for solo diners, couples, and groups. It provides a unique dining experience unlike any others in the city. Stop in for a hearty tagine and warm atmosphere!

The consistency alone is enough to keep us coming back, but the food itself? It's something special. Let me start with the hummus. I don't even know how to say this without sounding dramatic, but it's hands down the best hummus we've ever had. It's unbelievably smooth, rich, and somehow manages to go with everything. And yes...I'm going to say it...dip your fries in it. Trust me on that one. And order the large size hummus to take home with you. The rice deserves its own moment too. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of richness. I'm not sure if it's butter or oil or some magic in between, but whatever they're doing, it works. It's the kind of rice you keep eating even when you're full. We usually go for the chicken over rice, which comes with peppers and onions, and it's always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. This is not bland food. Everything has depth. We've also had the three-meat combo (lamb, chicken, and beef), and every single piece is tender and cooked just right. It all comes together with that incredible red sauce and the garlic sauce...which I always order extra because I refuse to run out halfway through the meal. Add in the pita for the hummus, and it's just one of those meals you look forward to the entire drive home. And speaking of the drive...we will happily go 35-40 minutes out of our way just to pick this up. That should tell you everything. On top of all that, it's a family-owned place, and you can feel it. Customer service is warm and thoughtful. You'll often see the husband and wife there, sometimes their kids, and I believe his mother is in the kitchen and honestly, it shows. There's something about the food that feels cared for, not just made. We've tried a few different things on the menu and everything has been great, but the dishes I mentioned are what keep calling us back. Highly, highly recommend!!
