I have legitimately never had anything bad from behind the counter; but my favorite is when you order food to be made like a chicken plate or a lamb gyro or shawarma.. I don't know what they put in their food but man is it addicting. Also you almost never get this anymore but they make evening from SCRATCH. This is hands down the best kept secret in Solon, and is much better than the large middle eastern restaurants or chains, and cheaper by quite a bit.

Store manager is always so friendly and outgoing. She really makes us feel like we're just visiting an old friend. We almost always have the same server, Maddie, and she's pretty funny and never leaves a dirty dish or empty glass on our table. Definitely 5 stars for how well we are treated. I'd say 4.5 stars for the food. Wow is it fresh tasting and the presentation is always on point. We'd love to see fresh cut fries as an option with the rolled pita sandwiches, especially with that amazing garlic sauce or hot sauce for dipping. The restaurant is always clean but has an overall look of being from the 1980's. Maybe a more modern design so it looks fresh and inviting. And along with that the servers wear these bright white, stiff looking shirts. It seems like the owners haven't figured out if it's a nice sit down restaurant or if it's a cafeteria. But besides the weird look of the restaurant (metal bars, really?) it always feels so welcoming because of how friendly the workers are. 4 stars overall. I can't wait to go back!! read more

It only took 5 minutes for it to be ready and after my 20 minute drive home, I opened up the takeout box and saw massive portions of food! If I was smart, I would have reheated my fries in the air fryer and not the microwave, but I am sometimes dumb and had reheated fries. I think that if they were freshly eaten right when I got them, they would have been better. However, I would have liked them seasoned. So I just used some seasonings I had at home. The gyro, for being a "small," was big, filling, and delicious! The vegetables were fresh, the gyro meat was tender and plentiful, and the pita itself was quite nice. No complaints! I will continue to try to support this small business whenever I am back in Mentor. It was so good!
