    Beef Kabob

Sitti has an elevated yet cozy feel. The interior is beautifully decorated, and since it's not on a busy street, parking was fairly easy to find. We went inside and were immediately seated. Around 6 PM on a Sunday the restaurant wasn't crowded, but there are plenty of tables and it looks like a great spot for hosting a larger party. For food, we ordered the salmon, the beef kebabs, and enjoyed the complementary pita bread and olive oil, which were warm and delicious. We had also ordered an eggplant appetizer, but it took so long that our entrées came out first, so we decided to skip it. Even with that mishap, the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely ask for their harissa, it adds such a great kick. My salmon was cooked beautifully medium, the fish tasted very fresh, and I would absolutely order it again. The portions were generous and filling, so we decided to skip dessert this time, but we'll definitely be back to try it.

Tucked in the heart of downtown, surrounded by city sounds, Sitti is your passport to the heart of Lebanon--without ever leaving this happening area. My preferred starter is a creamy Hummus, and their Hummus is smoother than your favorite playlist, it has a perfect blend of ahini, garlic, and lemon juice. But the star of their Tastings menu is definitely the cheese rolls. Imagine a golden, crispy hug filled with gooey, melty cheese that whispers sweet nothings in Arabic. This isn't just a roll--it's a swoon-worthy swirl of Levantine love and dairy dreams. The Chicken Kabob's are flame-kissed flavor torpedoes straight from the heart of Beirut. Marinated like they've got secrets to tell, grilled like they're training for the Olympics, and served so juicy they might need their own towel. Paired with the Sitti Rice, you've got yourself a culinary love story. Whether you're on a date, a solo shawarma mission, or hiding from your inbox, they' serve the mood, the munchies, and the magical service to match. Cheers!

So many restaurants were closed on the 4th of July, and we are happy to know many hospitality people were off all day & night to enjoy being with family & friends for the holiday. We were thrilled that Sitti was open as we had company in town for the 4th of July. The lunch we enjoyed was nothing short of spectacular! Seriously some of the BEST Lebanese food any of us have ever had. We started with labneh and Baba Ghanouj. Our server Matt brought out the most amazing freshly baked pitas to pair up with these two cold mezzes. We were literally drooling over the flavors of both dips and amazed that the pitas were consumed in their entirety! Not certain that those two dishes could be topped Matt then brought out lunch, and all of us exclaimed over the authenticity of the food at Sitti. My husband's chicken shawarma was #1 in our books. All of us have enjoyed this dish at various places around the US but this one coming out of the kitchen at Sitti rocks the culinary world! Moist, tender pieces of chicken exploding with that Lebanese style and flavor. The garlic whip that accompanied the shawarma is addictive and their Sitti rice is beyond delicious. My orange and goat cheese salad was crisp & refreshing. (Next time I will request the dressing on the side.) I opted to add on their falafel and I shared them with 2 others at the table. The vote was taken - hands down the BEST falafel any of us had the pleasure to taste. My brother ordered and truly obsessed over the Sfiha Pizzette. Please know that this is a must try when you visit this skilled restaurant team. It features Ground beef and lamb mixed with spices, za'atar, extra-virgin olive oil, pine nuts, pomegranate molasses, diced tomato, and parsley. Awesome flavors! The service and hospitality we received from Matt was so much appreciated. Thank you for working on a holiday.

We came here with a group of 8 and had a prime spot near the window. It's a beautiful space inside and out. If you haven't checked out the courtyard area, Sitti shares a courtyard with Gravy and it's divine. I love to sit outside and it's just beautiful. After we ordered the waiter brought pita with olive oil to the table. It was tasty and light. The olive oil with spices was flavorful. I split the Kafta which was plenty for my husband and I to share. We love Sitti and will be back!

Sitti was great! My daughter and I came here last night after playing at marbles museum all day and I wasn't about to cook dinner haha. I'm so glad that I decided to walk in! The food was absolutely delicious and service was attentive af and super helpful and friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and they checked on us throughout the night asking how everything was and how we liked the food. They even held open for the door when we left and thanked us for coming in. We will definitely be going back again! Our server was Allison. Shoutout to Allison for recommending the Sitti tasting which was super tasty. My favorites were the chicken shawarma which was so flavorful and tender. Loved the (garlic?) sauce and pickle on top of it. It all came together beautifully. The kibbee mikli is this sort of mini football shaped stuffed meatball filled with ground beef and pine nuts and sits atop what tasted like Greek yogurt drizzled with olive oil. Super recommend this dish. The cheese rolls that it comes with are this lovely crispy little eggroll type of things that were scrumptious as well. The only part of the dish that I wasn't a fan of was the watermelon radish on the salad portion of the tasting. It was extremely bitter. We also ordered the mixed grill to-go with the beef med rare per Allison's recommendation but also is really the only way to eat beef duh! My husband had that and said it was good. They threw in complimentary pita bread with olive oil in our takeout order bag which was thoughtful. The restaurant provides complimentary pita and oil for the table when you dine in as well. We ordered a cheese pizzette off of the kids menu as well and my daughter only had one slice but it looked incredible. This place has chill vibes and is very warm and inviting and great for a quick meal with a friend, family, or date (although it does get pretty loud later in the night esp after 6pm which can make it hard to hear one another). Allison had recommended the beef kabob, Sitti tasting (which is large enough to share with two people but I devoured and so stuffed by the end. It looks small but is super filling!), chicken artichoke, and said that all of the pizzettes are great too! Guess i have to go back and try them all!

Came here for a quick bite before an event next door. I came in and sat at the bar hoping for quick service. I kept looking around waiting to be served and provided a menu. It took some time before I was approached. I asked for a menu and quickly looked for a drink and app to order. It took some time again for someone to take my order. I ordered the spritz and falafel and asked for it to be quick bc I had an event. Once order the food and drinks were quick to come. I did have to ask for utensils once everything came out and I was provided bread and oil dip after. The food was delicious! That bread is amazing and fresh! The falafel app was not dry. And my drink was strong and a healthy service with minimal ice. The restaurant Is nice though a bit impersonal feeling and not very welcoming. I would come again to try more items if in the area but wouldn't drive specifically to this place.

So sad because I'm only in Raleigh for two more days. Please open Sitti in South Florida! Best food ever, friendly service, and a super nice vibe. The pita was sooo good. Everything on the Sitti sampler was well spiced and just amazing with the kibbe the star of the show. Can't say enough great things about this restaurant! Love!

If ever in downtown Raleigh this is worth the stop. Local Lebanese deliciousness. The staff were so kind and I truly appreciate the at home feel celebrating heritage and hospitality of this charming location. Not only were all the dishes we had delicious, they were the perfect balance of rich and bold and savory flavors. Next time I'm in Raleigh I will definitely be going back.

I love the chill, low key, ambiance of Sitti; from portraits of the owner's family to their early 19th century advertisements that you will periodically find throughout the restaurant. I always love the food at Sitti, my favorite all time dish will always be the mixed grill with extra beef tenderloin and extra garlic whip. Beef bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates were incredible and my friends loved the salmon dish. The service very good though it wasn't necessarily impressive.

Came here for restaurant week, tried everything on the three course menu and it was great! The only thing that was so-so was the Mahi and it was simply overcooked. The seasoning on it was great though! Our services was a little slow, food took awhile to get to us but I'd chalk it up to the event. The server was otherwise great!

"Consistency Matters"…read more The food is delish, let's start there. This hasn't been on my bingo card for a while and boo hoo! The garden pizzette and chicken shawarma are fan favorites for a reason. Chicken Shawarma is a (IMO) well seasoned cinnamon forward profile that delivers a tender chew. Don't let the cinnamon description deter you. The flavor is complex, savory, and very good! The garden pizzette is delicious. The perfect mixup of feta, mint, tomato, and cucumber...Chef's Kiss (dip in hummus and/or tzatziki for that extra, extra added flavor). We also loved the tzatziki/lebnah sauce. Perfect balance for our Americanized palate. My biggest complaint, would be consistency. I ordered twice in one week. Each meal was delicious, but noticeable different. Not a huge factor, but one I thought worth mentioning. Bread was whole wheat ... cool/ not a problem .. but also not my preference. All in all, a darn good meal! Sold side options. I was going to be closer to the Raleigh location this past month so I decided to go to the Raleigh location and see if they could do the same as cary. I went in and asked a young man he said that should not be a problem for me to put in my catering orders and then have my payment done a certain way at the register, as they usually do, in cary. I placed my order and got to the register and then the very nice girl that was there was going to ring me up. She wasn't sure how to manually enter my credit card information that I needed to give, so she asked what I'm going to assume was her manager or whoever was in charge that day? The woman turned around and looked at me as if I walked in and started in her face. Her face was so disgusted, twisted up, and snarled with disapproval. She asked me, with a huge attitude, "what was going on here?". I politely explained the situation, which is that, at the Cary location our company pays over the phone when I arrive. I handed her the phone to give her the credit card information and she was speaking to my boss (who is a very world-renowned doctor) about the payment info. She was so rude to him and said "well usually we don't do this but we'll do it this time". I informed her that from now on, since it was such a problem we will gladly go to the other location or just another restaurant in general. The younger people at the register were extremely friendly and polite and really made this experience the most positive thing from this whole trip to this location. As I was leaving the female who had the attitude earlier did say that she " was sorry, and that she just didn't know what she was walking into". At this point, I really did not care about an I'm sorry, because I will never go back to this location. I don't care who or what she is, but if she doesn't know what she's walking into, then the best idea for her(if she had any business or common sense)would be to approach it in a professional manner and not with a stank attitude. I have worked in doing catering sales, amahing businesses, throwing events, and ordering multiple catering orders for other businesses that I run. I have never and would never, approach anyone like this if I was uncertain of any situation. It puts a really bad look on their whole concept. I have already talked to multiple people about this and told all the physicians that I work with. I have also discussed this encounter with other people who do multiple orders for catering and other event networking groups. I will never be ordering from this location again. I hope whatever they do, they get it right, and start hiring people who appreciate having a job, to make sure that no one else feels so turned off by someone like this. I'm only giving a two stars for the Friends League kids that were at the counter and at the cash register

We ordered the grape leaves, baklava, namoora and tabbouli. I am Lebanese and these are staples in our home. The grape leaves were extremely dry and tough. The rice was very undercooked and the leaves themselves were so dry and tough we could barely chew through them. We ordered 12 and thought maybe it was a fluke but all 12 were completely inedible and we threw them out immediately. The baklava was okay, nothing to write home about. Very simple syrup forward and you couldn't taste much else (we ordered the walnut). The namoora was stale. Very dry. Namoora should melt in your mouth with with a slight chew. This was again, tough and stale. We threw those out as well. Lastly, our favorite salad, tabbouli. The lemon taste was nonexistent. The parsley wasn't chopped fine as Tabbouli should be. It was a watery mess. Overall, we won't be back. We spent over $75 on 4 items and left feeling hungry and bamboozled. Thank goodness they had franchises in Cleveland (where I visit my mother) -- when I had moved away from one I could get my fix there. But while in Columbus area, Dublin restaurant closed and I went to the one in Grandview quite a bit. I have been back in North Carolina for 12 years now. On a day trip to Raleigh, I stopped by the store at Brier Creek (8201 Brier Creek Pkwy #107) OH MY! It has been a while (I think I need to go visit my mother! ) Had my lunch staple. shawarma salad with Aladdin's dressing (they used to have a zesty tomato back in the day that was really good) a small hummus and HOT SAUCE! I am so glad the south is staring to get the grand taste of Aladdin's Eatery! Like I told the owner -- From the first day I tasted any meal to yesterday, the meals and food are consistent -- if you go back in time, they would be prepared and taste the same -- like Heaven, mother's milk! Now Lebanese, middle eastern may not be for everyone but if you want a good healthy salad or some great soup, I am sure you can find something here.. but you will miss out on the spices and flavors! I think the main thing about Aladdin's besides stellar food and consistency is the people! I have not met an owner, server, host that was not friendly, courteous, gracious and human! These folks are great! And just like the food has been so since day one! I wish all restaurants and business could be like Aladdin's, the world would be a better place -- after my meal yesterday, I am refueled and ready to go in body and spirit! Thanks for the lifetime of great meals, see you soon!

Good food, great service, but one thing stood out: I was recommended a wine over the one I chose…read more It was offered as "more authentic to match the food, same price." It wasn't good - I didn't appreciate being pushed old inventory that had started moving toward the "vinegar" stage. This doesn't deter me from going back - the food is great! - but I will be more careful.
