The venue was very clean and open air. We were served very quickly and the waitress politely explained all the dishes and any questions we had. The food was good but felt like it could use just a tad but more flavoring or spice.

Checked out Aladdin's Eatery yesterday and it was a good, not great, but a good experience. This is my second time eating at Aladdin, the first time at the Brier Creek location which I loved, and this second time at the North Hills location. Despite it being less than a week from Christmas and the shopping center it is in is quite hectic due to the holidays, I was able to find a spot by scavenging. I appreciate that the lot is very large, and people are always coming and going, so if you wait just a tad or if you park by Walgreens, you'll get a spot sooner, than later. I ordered the: - Taza Chicken Salad - 10/10 - delicious, flavorful and so much variety - Flavor Savor Special - 8/10 - the beef and the falafel was a bit dry that I couldn't finish (and I usually always finish my food) but the chicken thigh and everything else was licked up clean - Mango Smoothie - 10/10 - so refreshing, and you can tell, its super fresh Our server Leena was absolutely wonderful, she was so sweet, polite, helpful - just so gracious. I'd come again to try out different dishes, since they offer soooo many different things, but I'd probably avoid the beef and likely the falafel next time.

Me and hubby had a mid-week date lunch at Aladdin's in North Hills. As always, the food is always fresh and delicious! We ordered the Spicy Cauliflower for the appetizer with their homemade hot sauce, followed by their Lamb Shawarma Pita Wrap! Hubby got his fav, the Flavor Savor. The unexpected highlight of the meal were the Falafels! They were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. We usually don't like these because they can be dense and gritty. My only criticisms on the meal were not to have the fried cauliflower swimming in the sauce. We were expecting it on the side. The other, the cook got a little zealous with toasting my pita wrap... but the pleasant service more than made up for any shortcomings. Will definitely come back again.

My sister-in-law recently introduced us to Aladdin's Eatery, a Lebanese-American restaurant located in North Hills, and I'm so glad she did. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated by the friendly staff. It was a quiet afternoon -- not too busy -- which made for a peaceful, intimate lunch experience. A few guests were dining both inside and on the patio, and the overall ambiance felt cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. I ordered the "Flavor Savor Special", which features both Chicken Mishwi and Beef Kafta. The dish came beautifully plated with basmati rice, mixed greens, hummus, and falafel. While everything on my plate was good, I found the beef kafta to be a bit too salty and had a slightly rubbery texture when cutting into it with a knife and fork. That said, the falafel was a standout! It was crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, not greasy at all, and had a delicious flavor that really impressed me. Honestly, words don't do it justice -- you just have to try it yourself. I got so immersed in my food that I completely forgot what my husband and sister-in-law ordered. Luckily, I managed to snap a photo of my husband's plate, which looked like a Lebanese-style pizza -- definitely something I'd try next time. The decor is simple but eye-catching. I especially liked the small lamps on the walls, which added a touch of charm and made for good conversation pieces. And as soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a tempting display of cakes, pies, and baklava. I highly recommend the triple berry cheesecake -- easily one of the best I've ever had. We'll definitely be coming back, especially to try their rolled pitas, which look like burritos filled with mishwi or kafta -- can't wait!

Aladdin's is always a treat. Always. I've visited for solo meals and business lunches, for full plates and baklava. The staff is always so pleasant and welcoming, and the food is always delicious. The vibe is super relaxed. Even when it's busy the staff makes your visit very comfortable. The last time I visited I decided to go with Genie's Combo and the waitress could tell I was waffling with Jasmine's because I wanted the Jasmine's rice. She offered to substitute the Jasmine's rice, which was perfect for what I was looking for! The meal was great. I washed it down with a mint tea, and followed it with a piece of baklava for dessert! The only one critique I'll share, because I do have an opinion, is that the baklava that is served from the baked goods case has been consistently better than the pre packaged baklava that's for sale atop the case (in the basket). I tried the pre packaged one this past trip because the other want available. Even still, it was a nice treat with my tea. Highly recommend Aladdin's for anyone hanging out in North Hills.!

After shopping around North Hills my family and I decided to stop here for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty quiet and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter was very friendly and was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. We ordered the pita and hummus appetizer to share. It was okay, but I've had better at other restaurants. For my entree I got the "Jasmines Favorite" with chicken. The rice and vegetables were flavored well and the chicken was juicy. I also tried their gluten free chocolate cake, and that was delicious as well.

We stopped in to super charge, this place was a quick walk down the road. Staff was super friendly. Place was small and quiet. Menu options are great. They had a drink menu too. I had the Aladdin special, little bit of everything. They had plenty of GF, V, Veg options. They marked what had nuts in it. Even had a two vegan, gf dessert options. For our first Lebanese food experience we were not disappointed.

This was my first time trying this place out. The server was really nice. Wasn't very familiar with the menu as I usually mostly frequent Asian Restaurant. She was very helpful in explaining the menu and recommendation. I really enjoy the Kibbie and it paired so good with the yogurt they have. I also like the Aladdin combo. Everyone on it was so good and the sauce too. The chicken wasn't my favorite but still good. The place was pretty casual.

We ordered the grape leaves, baklava, namoora and tabbouli. I am Lebanese and these are staples in our home. The grape leaves were extremely dry and tough. The rice was very undercooked and the leaves themselves were so dry and tough we could barely chew through them. We ordered 12 and thought maybe it was a fluke but all 12 were completely inedible and we threw them out immediately. The baklava was okay, nothing to write home about. Very simple syrup forward and you couldn't taste much else (we ordered the walnut). The namoora was stale. Very dry. Namoora should melt in your mouth with with a slight chew. This was again, tough and stale. We threw those out as well. Lastly, our favorite salad, tabbouli. The lemon taste was nonexistent. The parsley wasn't chopped fine as Tabbouli should be. It was a watery mess. Overall, we won't be back. We spent over $75 on 4 items and left feeling hungry and bamboozled. There are other Lebanese food spots to visit in the Raleigh area, I will stick to those. Please do better when representing Lebanese cuisine. 15 workers behind the counter can seem like you're doing something right but in the end, it all comes down to the freshness and authenticity of what you are claiming to serve.

His service was greatly appreciated as all of us wanted to make it somewhere to watch The Canes game! He was efficient with opening the wine and getting our dinner orders in right away. Thank you Diondre for a great start to our evening. All of us raved over our food. Two of our friends had the Tomahawk Pork Chop featuring spinach, barrel-aged feta, herb aioli, and yummy Greek lemon potatoes. Both people agreed the kitchen team cooked them perfectly. One person absolutely loved his fire-roasted lamb chops that also had the delicious Greek lemon potatoes. Another one of our friends loved her Chicken penne Mykonos which we have ordered to-go many times. It looks even better in the restaurant as it has spinach, feta, mushrooms, tomatoes, white wine lemon cream sauce, and parmesan. This dish is a must try when you visit Taverna Agora in downtown Raleigh. Lastly, someone at the table exclaimed that their grilled salmon was one of the best salmon dishes he had ever enjoyed as its unique presentation features pickled beetroot, sautéed spinach, and a lemon caper sauce. I had the Poseidon Branzino which was fabulous. The dish had roasted branzino, medley of sautéed cherry tomatoes and onions, fresh herb rice, and skordalia (I had to look up what that is - a fascinating Greek garlic puree). The blending of all those flavors made for a scrumptious dinner, and thanks to the kitchen team for preparing it perfectly so that I could even eat the skin of the fish. We shared two bottles of Assyrtiko wine which is one of our favorite Greek wines after visiting Greece a few years ago. The wine list at Taverna is simple but thorough and fun to experiment with. Walking in you'll feel like you've been transported to a village like, Greek atmosphere. To sit down you'll check in with the host and then be seated either inside or on the rooftop. We opted for the rooftop as it was a nice evening. To start I ordered the Baklava Old Fashioned (Bulleit bourbon, homemade baklava syrup, Angostura bitters, and Amarena cherries) which was amazing. Next we ordered the trio of all three spreads (Tzatziki, sun-dried tomato hummus, and spicy feta spread) and the calamari. Both dishes were excellent and I definitely prefer the spicy feta and tzatziki sauce. For my main course I ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop (Chargrilled tomahawk chop, spinach, barrel-aged feta, herb aioli, Greek lemon potatoes) which was a bit disappointing. I probably should have sent the pork chop back as it was cooked well done and was very dry but was I was too hungry and didn't want to make my parents wait. For dessert I ordered Baklava Cheesecake (New York-style cheesecake with nuts and baklava filling) which was very nice and my mom ordered the Limoncello cake (lemon cake with lemon cream frosting) which was definitely the star of the show. If I'm back downtown I may try Taverna Agora again but will definitely avoid ordering the pork chop.
