Plenty of parking and the owner was so friendly!! When you first walk in, you will notice the beautiful mural on the wall. It's of Jerusalem and Beirut (I asked the owner). It's hand painted and very detailed!! We ordered the Chicken Schwarma wrap (about $7) and the Falafel wrap with fries. Both were delicious!! I loved the garlic sauce in the Chicken Schwarma, mmm mm!! The fries were so flavorful and not too salty. And before we left, we got the pistachio baklava and it was very good and the owner was so generous!! We definitely will come back when we are in the area next.

This place is tucked away in the Frandor shopping area. Not very big and easy to miss unless you're looking for such a place. The inside is very clean. The flooring and walls are a little busy, but the decor is very common, with photos and hand painted murals of home. Music helps give the feeling you're about to eat some authentic Middle Eastern food. I ended up grabbing a sampler platter because I wanted to try as much as I could. Everything was pretty good. There wasn't a thing on my plate I wouldn't order again. Shawarma, Kabobs, Kafta, and grape leaves served on a bed of rice. No way I was skipping out on garlic sauce. My sampler also came with a salad. As usual, I ordered more than I could eat. The serving sizes didn't help though, definitely enough to feed the two of us. When I was there , the owner pretty much did it all. Takes your order, plates the food, brings it out, and rings you up. Not to mention the steady flow of people coming into this place on a Monday at almost 8pm! Obviously, I'm not the only person who enjoys the food here. The price for our meal was about what I expected. If you ballpark it, it was about $20 a person. You'd pay that at any decent restaurant with good food. There are cheaper options like wraps, but I wanted the full Monty. If there was one thing that I really had to dig for, that I thought could be improved, it was the shawarma. It really looked good, but was honestly not as flavorful as I hoped. The only thing I missed out on was a fresh fruit smoothie, but I had to save something for next time..... and there WILL be a next time.

The family popped in there for lunch and we were blown away at how delicious everything was! We opted for a shawarma wrap with a side of hummus and fries. In hindsight, I probably should have ordered a wrap for each of us because after the first bite I didn't want to share! ^_^ The wrap was a good sized portion that my wife and I shared and finished with no issues. We got a medium sized order of hummus (or was it small?) either way they gave us a generous portion for myself, my wife, and my 2 kids. We were all able to eat our fill and it only ended up running us just north of $20! Definitely will be back!

Best Mediterranean in town. I love the staff and the falafel is the best I've ever had.

Aladdin's is a great, casual lunch spot in downtown Lansing, whether you want to eat in or take it…read moreto-go. It's a little dark inside, but that's offset by how warm the people are. My first time there, a woman was on the fence between two items so the friendly man working the counter said he could do half/half, all for the same price. I really appreciate that, and kind of wish I'd done that, since there are so many yummy-sounding things I want to try out. So far, I've had a lamb kabob over rice and the meat kibbee sandwich on two separate lunch occasions. I got hummus as my side, which is wonderful because they basically let you have unlimited pita. It's a little dangerous, since I definitely don't need that many carbs, but it's free and right there in a basket for the taking, individually plastic-wrapped. I love it. Their hummus is solid. The over rice options are definitely heavier than the sandwiches, but I think flavorwise, I liked the meat kibbee a little more. Kibbee is made of bulgur, minced onions, and finely ground meat with Middle Eastern spices. I think this was ground beef, but I can't remember. I'm definitely glad I added this to my lunch rotation, and will be back to try the rest of their menu. My coworkers also got their lunch here and were happy with what they got. They also have ample vegetarian options, if you want to avoid meat.

I often get the fattoush with chicken and what impressed me original was that I could request no tomatoes on my salad. This may sound odd however most middle eastern restaurants make fattoush salads by the sheet pan because it's a hot item and you can't make substitutions. The fact that I can, shows that each salad is freshly made!
