Makes sense since we were in Paso and they're famous for their big bold reds. I did enjoy their cabernet sauvignon the most in the tasting, however the puors were less than an oz, which was just enough to get a sip in. I was disappointed in that especially as a potential buyer looking to get understand the wine a bit more than a two sipper. THE FINAL BAMBOO: A wine tasting of four wines with a very miniscule tasting pours was around $40.

They traditional wine tasting and a wine-and-cheese pairing experience (which I highly recommend). Since it's more of boutique, the bottles are quite pricey, mostly ranging near the 100s. But it was our favorite the whole weekend we went there. And we bought 6 bottles. We loved the spell and got 3 bottles of that! It's a Syrah cab blend. Has the Paso flavor that we love. It's not a vineyard, just a tasting room but worth a visit. We met the wine maker too. Friendly and attentive service. Can't wait to pop open a bottle at home soon!

Justin, the tasting room lead, is knowledgeable but far from snooty. On a quiet weekday afternoon, he spent a long time with us -- we explored a wide range of whites and red (and one rose). Some of our favorites: Chardonnay Napa Valley, Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard Carneros (I don't drink Chards and really enjoyed this one), Cabernet Angels Vista, Cabernet Lameraux. The wines were all excellent. Left purchasing several bottles and glasses. This is one of those spots that are small now, but will blow up once people find out how great the wines are at such a great price.
