Love love love Tank Garage! They have some wonderful wines, they are all blends and they only make each one once so when they are gone it's gone for good. It's a chill tasting in a really cool space, just like the one in Calistoga. Our last tasting there we had Audrey helping us and she was such a delight. Stopped in while we were waiting for a dinner table across the street. Didn't have a reservation here but we were easily able to come in and share a tasting at the bar. I had been to this tasting room location when it was previously Copia, so I was excited to check out the new tenants. It's amazing what a coat of paint and different lighting can do to a space! The place had a dark grungy vibe (that of a working garage, while of course clean and much more upscale) but still felt very cool and fun. Love the Tank! A cuter than hell little bar with seating for 10-12 bar stools, outfitted with an Indian motorcycle and cool garage-oriented signage. One cool bartender, and some damn good wine. Tank Winery is not a Paso Wine, instead it's in Calistoga/Napa region, this is purely a tasting room. The back room is a cool, smallish room, that would be perfect for a small band with sofas and chairs. Love. Oh yeah, and the wine is delish. I'll be going back often. read more

Tank Winery in Calistoga recently expanded to a tasting room in Paso Robles. The decor is very well thought out and put together with a garage-type theme. But it's the back room that's really cool. Kind of like a Hard Rock bar with the vibe of a lounge in NYC's East Village. The wine labels are very tongue in cheek with an adult sense of humor. The server was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Usually I can find a wine that I'd want a bottle or two of but I dropped a star, due to the wines I tasted not being exceptional. The tasting room features a real Indian motorcycle and antique gas pump, but the best is the secret hidden "Made" club room. Can't tell you about this awesome hidden room, until you are a club member. If you can't find a wine that you really enjoy, "you be lying". Each wine has its own signature that can be playful, bold, sassy, or destined for a perfect food pairing. We love tank, true wine is superb and totally unique (shout out to the best wine club in California).
