I originally had a rock chip in the windshield, and the crack started getting longer, so I decided to replace it before it got worse. The installation took about 45 minutes, which was quicker than I expected. On the drive home, I tested the vehicle's sensors, including the left and right safety sensors and the front adaptive cruise control, and everything appears to be working normally so far. They advised me to leave the tape on for two days before removing it. After that, I plan to get a car wash so I can also make sure there are no leaks around the new windshield. For the price, I'm hoping everything continues to hold up well. Rafael told me the installation comes with a 3-year warranty and said I can call him anytime if any issues come up. Within an hour, my window no longer stayed closed; the regulator broke. This shit happened fast! I called for availability and an estimate. I was told if I could make it by 5p, they could do it today for $130-140. I had to do this one other time years ago but the car was under warranty so I didn't know how much it would be. Admittedly I didn't call other places (where they are located seems to be auto glass alley). I just felt the price was more than reasonable and my mechanic trusts them and I trust my mechanic. I was able to make it before closing and they were able to do it on the spot for $140. The gents were nice and quick. They take Zelle which is super helpful. There's also a 90 day warranty.
