I blew out the rear window of my 2016 Chevrolet Traverse backing into a private parking space near LAX I had rented to store my and I was about to leave on a long overseas trip. This business is an example of perfect solid service. Unfortunately on Monday night my boyfriends car window was vandalized. I found Ceasar's Auto Glass on Yelp and called. I spoke to Carlos who was to the point about price, options and timing and how quickly we could get his window replaced. I made quick arrangements since he said he could fit us in. He even responded to the text I sent him giving him the directions to our house. I already started feeling how reliable and well this business is run. He showed up about 20 minutes early. My boyfriend drove his car in and Carlos and his partner immediately got to work. I would say it took them 30 minutes or less to replace the window. I wholeheartedly recommend coming here for windshield replacement services. I tried calling 3 other places to ask about windshield replacement. None were as easy to deal with as Cesar's. The other shops asked to me hold & never called back, or asked me to call their windshield suppliers myself for a quote. The lady who answered the phone at Cesar's was quick to give me a quote and I signed up for an appointment the next day. I will add that they mixed up my car model for a different one, and when they realized the mistake, these guys acted swiftly to get to their warehouse and get the correct windshield. When my girlfriend's car got broken into last week, she called several places and got estimates averaging over $230+ (for the rear triangular window, not the larger rectangular one). I called my mechanics (South Coast Auto in Costa Mesa also on Yelp) for a recommendation and they pointed me out to Cesar's Auto Glass. Wow, talk about night and day, they quoted me $50 dollars installed. I believe that they have mobile service also, but we decided to go there. The service was quick and painless. If any of the installers forget something, you can be sure the lady behind the counter won't let it slip by. For instance, when we came back to pick up the car, about 20 minutes later, there was some glass in the vehicle and around the area of the car where they replaced the broken glass, before I could say a word the lady behind the counter uttered something in spanish and the vacuum was immediately deployed! read more

I took a chance after reading other reviews. Well done Cesar's Auto! Note: Their garage is hard to find. When you are in the area, don't look for Cesar's Auto Glass sign from the main street Slauson. Instead, look for the big sign that says "Slauson Super Mall." You'll find Cesar's among a row of auto related garages. That plaza has a green theme to it. Plenty of parking since the super mall is actually a huge swap meet for all things ghetto fabulous. If you're like me and you love urban culture, then you'll feel right at home. My Honda Civic right-rear window needed to be replaced. I brought it in on Monday afternoon and did not have to wait. I had broken glass all over the back. They vacuumed it all up for me! I was given the choice of new or used glass for less. I recommend the used. I can't tell the difference between the two. They didn't have my glass in stock so I had to wait an extra hour. Total? Well under $100, including parts, labor, and smiles. The next time someone breaks into my car, I mean... next time I need to replace a window, I'm going back to Cesar's without hesitation. Thank you Yelp! I did a film project this week that required breaking a car window at sunset on a Saturday night. Most auto glass shops refuse to work on weekends, but Cesar's Auto Glass came all the way out to Woodland Hills on a Sunday morning to repair the windshield. Cesar and Luis were very professional and they went the extra mile in professionalism. The nature of the broken glass left a lot of shards in my car, and they did their best to clean it up. Got my windshield replaced on 10/22/12. After waiting for the glass to settle and take in the work, there were good things and bad. Good: - When I called they were super nice and helpful. Without me even asking they offered to come out to my work to service my car. - Prices are great. Compared to other places I've called, they had the best price. - The guys that came to work on my car were nice and friendly. Not so good: - I noticed a day after that the window had 2 scuffs (One on the drivers side and one on the passenger side). I thought it was something I could wipe off, but it doesn't come off. I figure now I just have to get used to it. Better than a cracked windshield I guess. - When they replaced the side molding, they didn't put it in right. So now there is a quarter inch gap between the molding and windshield. Not a big deal, but not a 100% clean job. Conclusion: Great customer service. In the end, for the price, I guess I can get over the issues. But considering they got 5 stars from everyone, i thought the job was going to be perfect. Sucks because I even tipped them. read more

Just got back from having my passenger side quarter glass replaced for my 2001 Honda Civic since it got shattered by (my guess) a pellet or rock that was shot out from a lawnmower or something else. The window stayed in place but kept getting more and more cracks like a spiderweb so it was time to change it after two weeks of delaying it. This seems to be a family owned business and I would definitely come back here if I ever need to replace an auto glass, all thanks to the people who wrote a review on yelp and a great experience that I had there. They were all very nice and very professional; they replaced the shattered glass with a used Honda glass that was close to the tint that I have on my other windows in about 20 min. The guy said it was better to have a used original honda glass rather than a new Chinese aftermarket glass that could break easier. Before I left they told me that they would also come to the place of my home or work if I ever needed anything and that they would not charge if they needed to come to my work in Santa Monica. Knock on my door at 7am this morning, my neighbor telling me my car had been broken into. (They hit multiple cars in the complex last night, jerks.) My car is a company car so I called the correct channels and got told that they could come out on Monday Morning at the earliest to fix the window. When I asked if I could go in somewhere, they told me the soonest would be next Thursday! Really????? Called my regular mechanic and he recommended Cesar's Auto Glass. Once we did the dance of getting them approved (and then finding out they were actually already approved.... grrr...) they were out here about 2 hours later and done an hour after that. I have no electricity in my carport so he had to move around enough glass so we could drive around to a power source so he could vacuum out the glass. Cleanest the inside of my car has been in a long time! :) Incredible service, great attitudes, and outstanding work. As the others have said I was very impressed with Cesar's Auto Glass. Much cheaper than any other quote. Very fast, very professional. They did miss some sealant in one part and at high speeds on the freeway you could hear the air whistling in, but my husband called and they said just bring it back in and they fixed it no extra charge of course. My rearview mirror randomly fell down while driving the other morning and I had no clue where to go to get it re glued. I found this place was close to my house, and when I called for a quote the guy over the phone said they'll fix it for $10.They take cash only. I had to go inside the slauson swapmeet to use atm. But that was my bad, I assumed they took debit. Took no less than 3 minutes to put my mirror back. Soon as I turned the corner it came off again.. I went back and they re glued it. Cracked Windshield from a truck drivers wheels kicking up small rocks and one made contact with my windshield I didn't let the crack bother me for a few months and come to find out the crack got bigger so I searched around for a replacement found a few spots too expensive so I ended up here and talked to a very fit middle aged guy (don't know if it was Cesar) but he was very vocal and helpful with setting me up an appointment!
