I needed to take a dump. Well, my trailer did. There aren't a lot of places to do this in the East Bay. One you must be camping at, another in a recreation park, and one in SL. The SL was broken and the two others...yeah no. A bit of a drive from the house but worth the drive for a nice clean place to do business. The folks inside the office were nice people. It would be a good enough place to stay for those doing a show circuit and having to stay close for a few days. As campgrounds go, the current rating is accurate, and we wouldn't stay here unless by necessity. Still, nice folks, easy to do your business. Three stars! read more

This is a good place to spend a week or two up to 21 days. The staff was pleasant upon check in and we booked their executive site for the weekend. Site was clean and level with no leaks from the hose bib. A massive grass parking lot is just outside the gate of the park for dog shenanigans or a morning run. The restrooms were clean although the mens shower section if missing curtains and there are some leaky faucets. Laundry room is clean with only 1 out of 4 machines out of order. You can use an app or quarters to pay for laundry. The general store is paltry. Very little in the way of selection. This could be improved. We feel very safe due to the security guard at the gate (gate 12). * WARNING if you're using APPLE MAPS, it's going to try to take you to the wrong place. The entrance is at Road 12 and Valley Ave. or plug in Pleasanton Golf Center Driving Range. Valley Ave IS how you get to the park. Everything else is a lie. *In conclusion -1 star due to there being nothing helpful in the general store and no shower curtains in the mens showers. +4 for friendly staff and a safe place to camp. read more

Since our last visit the park office with a small store and the new section have opened, and one of the old sections is devoted to horse racing. The new section is very nice at $84 rather than $44 a night in the old section. The old section is still sketchy as run down units are moved every 21 days to basically live here except during the county fair when everyone has to leave. If they rebuilt the old section this park would be worth 3 stars without caveat. For now they are held back by the old section. They are barely 3 stars. read more

3 stars for location. Power and water are good. WiFi is excellent. Please take your revenue and re-grade your existing rv spots. Definitely no pride in this park. It is a mess when it rains. Nothing but dust and dirt. No one I could see to enforce the rules. Don't know why we had to give the year and condition of our RV. We were about the only one that wasn't duck taped or in this century. People park their extra cars anywhere they want. Open our door and had to squeeze by a truck parked so close to our RV, not his spot. Parking in a open space. If someone has it reserved they are out of luck when they show up. Someone had already had an argument with him for doing it in his site. Dogs running around with out leashes. Your dog might be nice, but mines not when your unleashed dog runs up on us. We have been staying here since 2011. This is the first time we have had a bad experience. The staff is great except for Brad that checked us in. He is not very well liked by others, because he is a "HOT HEAD". Always keep the rv park rules handy. Quiet time per the rules that are attached to your reservation is 10pm to 6am. I was wiping the heavy dew off my motorhome, before it run down the side of the coach, and checking the condensate filters on my air conditioners at 7am. He threatened us with a violation on quiet time, washing our motorhome and said he could make us leave the park. I knew he didn't have a leg to stand on, so he stomped off. I contacted the fairgrounds staff, and they told us we hadn't violated any rules and they would update Brad on the park rules and regs. read more

COMPLETE GARBAGE! Do not stay here! Writing this review feels overwhelming because the amount of things wrong with this place, is plentiful. The only thing this RV Park has going for it, is it's location, in that it's a close drive to everything in the Bay Area but that is not enough to warrant ever staying here again. Outside of the location, it's just a shit show. As was mentioned by other reviewers, we did not get the spot that we selected in our online reservation from over two months ago. It seems that they just put people wherever they want, no explanation, no apologies. These people are here to take your money and that is their only objective. There is absolutely no one "managing" the property at all. It seems that this fact has gotten out to the homeless population because my husband walked in on a homeless man showering, with his bicycle and all of his belongings sprawled out all over the men's bathroom, one morning. The bathrooms are filthy. They may say that they're cleaned daily but they are NOT. We understand that it is an RV Park but everyone is crammed into the spots like sardines. The entire middle row where we had to squeeze our trailer into was a giant mud puddle. They are clearly too cheap and too lazy to be bothered with gravel, so since it rained during our stay, we had to walk through standing water and mud to get into our trailer the entire time. Need propane!? Sorry boutcha. My husband walked over to the RV Parts and Service building during their posted business hours to refill and the doors were locked. When he asked the ladies inside the General Store if it was going to open, they told him "We're not affiliated with him and he didn't show up today." The RV Park portion of the Park doesn't have its own exit and entrance, so if there is an event at the Fairgrounds, you'll have to enter and exit by waiting in-line behind people who are paying for parking, every single time you return to the park. If there is an event, they will also block off the back entrance to the fairgrounds so there is no pedestrian access to downtown Pleasanton from the RV Park without walking ALL the way around the fairgrounds, removing any benefit to being that close to downtown. This place is just awful. Filthy, mismanaged, hideous and inconvenient in a plethora of ways. Never again. read more

We stayed there from January-June 2018 and had a great overall experience. Monique and the rest of the staff are quick to accommodate all requests. We only stayed in the north lot and bounced around between the 30 and 50 amp spots without any problems. We drove through the south lot and I'd suggest avoiding it all costs unless you're looking for a cheaper temporary accommodation. North lot is worth the extra charge and has wonderfully clean shower/bathrooms and laundry facility. Only downside overall is having to move every 21 days due to the fairgrounds policy. read more

We recently stayed there for three nights while some remodeling was being done to our home. We should have toured the place before we decided to stay there, but it was a convenient location and they had openings. The place was filthy! Old appliances, boxes, fencing, and bags of trash were scattered around the place. Some RV's didn't have their sewer lines properly attached and there was raw sewage on the ground around them! We figure no one is monitoring the place. We won't be back. Ever. read more

Will never try to stay here! Just went online to make reservations and they had one available spot. I decided to call just to find out about cancelation policy prior to finish reservation process. Lady on the phone states that there were no available spots. When I told her that I was in the middle of reserving one, she apologized and said that it was a mistake and proceeded to take that spot away. Awful RV Park. Had to stay due to traffic. Lady at check-in was very nice though. Expensive at $65 per night for a pull through with full hook ups. Good WiFi. Really, the only RV spot close to Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, etc. Spaces are tight, but some long [yet skinny] pull-thrus. We've stayed there over the past 4-or so years. It's fine for a few days. We felt safe, and have always had good neighbors next to us. Easy access off I-680, close to shopping. Great dog park a couple of miles down Bernal ave. Would recommend this park if you are passing through or need a space for a few days or a week. read more

My husband and I found ourselves in need of an RV park for temporary living. We found a home at the FairPark! The staff is helpful, friendly, professional, and courteous. They require masks inside the office. Which I'm so happy about. We've had a few issues with dogs off leash and nasty people not cleaning up after themselves or their pets. But the staff addressed each issue fully. Hard to control disrespectful rude people, so I can't fault them on that. Every issue we had, was resolved quickly with care and understanding. I can't wait until the fair is over so I can go home!!! read more

We've stayed her on a couple of occasions. I 'll agree with other on here that it is simply place to park your RV. It is not a "camp ground" and there is no picnic tables with each site and each site is just adequate to park your RV and put out the slides. I will say this, it is clean, quite and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and laundry facilies are clean and well maintained. We've stayed there for softball tournaments that are in the San Jose, Union City area and they are always very accommodating with late check out on Sundays for our later games. Great place to stay if you're just using it to park your RV, just remember it's not a camp site. read more

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our son had a soccer tournament nearby. We only needed hookups and a clean and secure environment. This park offered all these. I would highly recommend this place for what we used it for. If you are looking for an upscale park with amenities and entertainment, this is not it. However if you are looking for an easily accessible place to park your RV while you go about daily activities in the Bay Area, this place is great. read more

This is an adequate campground at best. The online reservation system doesn't work much of the time and only fails after you fill out a long tedious form. If you call the office they are often unable to figure out if they have vacancies or not. It took a number of tries to get a reservation and the entire experience was very frustrating. The, "campground", is an extra large parking lot within the fairgrounds itself. Sites are very close together, as one would expect in a parking lot. Connections are at the rear of the site and can be difficult to get to in larger rigs. The park is short term only. Maximum stay is three weeks. I stayed here for three weeks and one day. I had a problem on my last day and had to extend. The staff was VERY good about adding a day and I had no problems. There is an on site store and parts supplier. This was a godsend since the sewer connection was about 50 feet away and I needed an extension hose. WiFi was adequate at best. It was easy to maintain a connection however it was way way way over subscribed. Bandwidth was minuscule and even web browsing was painfully slow. read more

I reserved a 50 amp spot on the outer edge about a month ago. We arrived on Thanksgiving and as expected the office was closed. I found our reservation in a container near the door. We had been moved to a 30 amp spot in the middle of the park and there was already someone in the spot I originally picked. The new site was a giant mud pit due to the recent rain. The power pedestal was on the wrong side of the trailer. I had to back my trailer within a foot of the RV behind us for the cord to reach. I talked to the staff the next day and they lacked the appropriate concern. "Oh sorry" was the response along with a refund of the difference of paying for a 50 amp spot and getting moved to a 30 amp. read more

I stayed there for work. The showers we're never clean. It had a horrible smell of sewer it was constantly backed up. When they hand you the paperwork of the do's and don'ts in the rules of the park it clearly states no storage around your trailer site will be kept up on a daily basis. Oh my goodness it is like a yard sale everyday there it is so dirty. I witnessed Management in the main office arguing with a resident because of a mistake that the office made on the date he was supposed to check out. So unprofessional I totally would not recommend this park to anybody. read more

I'll give this place a couple stars for cleanliness and how close it is to everything but that's about as far as it goes here. If you stay here and anything goes wrong after 5 your out of luck. There's no camp host or night time number to call for maintenance or security. If the electric goes out in the middle of the night your waiting until someone comes to work the next day which is not okay considering people RESIDE here and they make you pay in advance. Reserving was a headache too. They can't tell you if they have vacancies or not and they have to pull all their heads together to figure out an extended stay (like a few weeks). read more

I made a reservation for this campground and paid for it on sunday morning at about 10.00 for the next monday night 11th June 2018. Sunday afternoon I was walking around in Sacramento and I was called by the campground that they cancelled the booking. They had a party and the campground was closed. As a result I had to find another campground and I didn't succeed. I slept somewhere along the road. Now back home I see that they don't even have the decency to return the complete amount I have paid. What a crooked bunch is this campground. read more
