There are 2 differnet theatres in the same mall, there is even a sign for the theatre that is no longer part of the theatres it's a gift shop. I would not go to this theatre again, drive the extra miles and go elsewhere.

It looks like they are mid-renovation. Much of the interior is either outdated or under construction. On the ground level there are a couple kiosks to purchase your ticket and a ticket taker employee before you get on the long and steep escalator. At the top of the escalator you have a hallway of theaters. There is a concessions area, but I had to ask an attendant at the top of the escalator where the concessions was. It was located on the other side of the wall (of the hallway). The concessions is fairly small in size, but they offer most all of the typical Regal treats The staff were helpful and professional. And it's not a bad movie going experience. I think I was just put off by the construction and the confusing layout. There wasn't a usable escalator to get back to ground level and I had to use an elevator (I only saw one), and this felt like a fire hazard, but there must have been stairs somewhere Some tips: Join regal rewards to earn points with every purchase. I am also a huge advocate of the Regal Unlimited Pass. If you're a frequent movie-goer like I am you can see virtually unlimited movies and you get a discount on concessions Cheers!

I specifically chose this theater for the "luxury reclining seats" but my seat wouldn't recline. I moved one seat over and that one wouldn't recline either. Thank goodness barely anyone was in the theater, because I had to move several seats over to find a recliner that worked. I sat there very comfortably for about an hour and a half and then went to use the restroom. Went back to my seat and it also wouldn't recline! I can't sit with my feet down for very long without experiencing increased pain, which is why I chose this theater. The rest of my time there was positive, but I'm concerned about returning because of the issue with the seats not being able to recline. I'm worried that I'd return to a full theater and not be able to elevate my legs and feet in the future. Small theater, so I didn't have to walk very far to get to my seat or the restroom. The employees are very nice and helpful. I only had a smart water so I can't remark on the snacks.

It's pretty run down and has been here forever, and it seems like it needs renovating in some ways more than others. But overall it's a really cool addition to downtown, and if you're not looking for something brand-new shiny-smelling-good and state-of-the-art then you'll be fine here.

They started up setting up their equipment at La Tuna, but also set up at the Pearl, Hemisfair, SAMA, and other places around town. The city has a deal with them this summer where you can see a bunch of free movies. They were putting on a James Bond film series, every week with a different movie. When you go check out their movies, generally you can take your own blankets, food, drinks, chairs, etc. There's no bad seat in the house, since the screen is so big! I love what these guys are doing to make new use of public spaces around SA to turn any park into a movie theater! SA has so many pleasant evenings, it's a great way to get outdoors and still catch up on a movie.

Upon entering the theater, there was no window to purchase a ticket, I had to use the kiosk but I didn't have my wallet or my physical debit card so I had to purchase my ticket online. I ended up using Fandango, which included a $2.19 convenience fee. I was able to print the physical ticket on the kiosk and the attendant at the snack counter checked it and told me where my theater was. I was the only one in the theater. I sat dead center on the top row. The seat featured a side table, a cup holder and it reclined. A nice theater, the restroom was clean but the pipes were noisy.
