Trying to save a spot before the mad rush with people. Summers afternoon all day on the beach frolicking around enjoy the water. When you're young, you don't care what the water was like. The hours of bike rides along the path from the pier to the marina, shoreline village and back to Belmont shores. This place is one of those that just makes you smile reminding you of your childhood. I still come down whenever I'm in town to have a walk along the waterfront. Checking out the boats all lines up in the docks. The view of the Queen Mary docked permanently along the water. People watching and of course the sunsets. It's a place for all that and then some. It's a local hotspot for bike rides, exercise, and dates. Also a hotspot for the tourist enjoying Long Beach. A nostalgic experience each and every time. A nice place for just doing nothing.

Shoreline Village has so many restaurants to enjoy, nearby mall, Farris wheel, a wonderful aquarium, and so much more. Restrooms are clean, and trash bins could be emptied more often since this marina is run by the city. Maybe less homeless would pick through it. We won't be returning due to the garbage in the SEA, which can get caught in a boat prop; then who's responsible? We were very disappointed there isn't a service boat that cleans it up for boat residents and tourists, an embarrassment for the city of Long Beach, I'd say.

The only reason this place gets a 3 instead of a 5 star review is for the price of admission, the boat wash down should be free like most other boat launch facilities. Why do patrons need to pay additional just to flush their motors and spray down their boats. Feels like a bit of a money grab.

When I signed up, I was told and promised that I would be able to use my sea time with freedom boat club towards USCG Captain's license. 2 years & over 100 days waisted!! They've been bouncing me from supervisor to supervisor for over 6 months and still have not produced the documentation. They will not provide see-Time documents as they promise. Be very careful with these shady people. Nothing like being lied to and given the run around... Thanks for the BS Freedom BC.

The buffet was probably the best buffet I've had in a long time. It's hard to feed a couple hundred guests and still maintain good food quality. They succeeded! Asparagus, chicken, salmon, pasta, green and Caprese salads. And desserts were terrific: cannoli, tiramisu, lemon bars. It was a very nice night and hopefully LB Athletics raised a lot of money for scholarships!

So prior to booking online, I decided to give the company a call first thing in the morning, and I had no problems speaking with someone who was happy to assist me and accommodate me with the exact time slot that I needed for that Saturday. Checking in was easy, even though we running a couple of minutes late, it was no big deal. Driving the boat was fun, we brought snacks, drinks, a small speaker and we had a blast! The views while riding were scenic, and we even spotted jellyfish and fed the ducks! Will book again!

They provide you with a safe route and a map to follow with beautiful views, so you don't need to stress about figuring it out. It was also extremely easy to drive despite not having any prior experience, so you really don't need to hire a driver at all. They also have an adorable restaurant that I had no idea about! I definitely need to come back with all my friends and dine in before or after the boat ride.

I found the kayak I wanted on WestMarine.com, and purchased two of them for delivery to the store. My boats arrived early, and the associate called to let me know they were in. When I arrived at the store, the clerk directed me to the back counter to gather the order paperwork, and the fellow back there walked me to the front where I paid. Same fellow helped me roll the kayaks to the truck and help me load them. Solid and straightforward service. And I even like the color.
