Trying to save a spot before the mad rush with people. Summers afternoon all day on the beach frolicking around enjoy the water. When you're young, you don't care what the water was like. The hours of bike rides along the path from the pier to the marina, shoreline village and back to Belmont shores. This place is one of those that just makes you smile reminding you of your childhood. I still come down whenever I'm in town to have a walk along the waterfront. Checking out the boats all lines up in the docks. The view of the Queen Mary docked permanently along the water. People watching and of course the sunsets. It's a place for all that and then some. It's a local hotspot for bike rides, exercise, and dates. Also a hotspot for the tourist enjoying Long Beach. A nostalgic experience each and every time. A nice place for just doing nothing.

Shoreline Village has so many restaurants to enjoy, nearby mall, Farris wheel, a wonderful aquarium, and so much more. Restrooms are clean, and trash bins could be emptied more often since this marina is run by the city. Maybe less homeless would pick through it. We won't be returning due to the garbage in the SEA, which can get caught in a boat prop; then who's responsible? We were very disappointed there isn't a service boat that cleans it up for boat residents and tourists, an embarrassment for the city of Long Beach, I'd say.

I am so happy to be a member of Freedom Boat Club! The benefits are exceptional, but what has…read moreimpressed me most is the outstanding service and the freedom to simply enjoy boating without all the responsibilities of boat ownership. As a former boat owner, I know firsthand the running joke in the boating community that B.O.A.T. stands for "Break Out Another Thousand." Unfortunately, it's not much of a joke! The expenses of owning a boat can be staggering. There is constant maintenance, bottom cleaning and painting, slip rental, insurance, and those unpredictable repairs that always seem to arise. After selling my boat, I began thinking about buying another because I absolutely love being on the water. Fortunately, before making that investment, I discovered Freedom Boat Club. When I realized how much I could save while still enjoying the boating lifestyle I love, I was elated. Even better than the savings is the unparalleled service. Preparing my own boat to go out was often time consuming, but the Freedom dock crew takes care of everything. From the concierge style assistance getting you underway to helping with docking and taking care of the boat when you return, they make the entire experience incredibly easy and enjoyable. I'm not as young as I used to be, so I especially appreciate being able to simply arrive, board the boat, and enjoy a beautiful day on the water! I have also been extremely impressed with the safety training. I learned far more than I expected, and the captains and dock staff are amazingly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. They genuinely make you feel that there are no "stupid questions," which creates a very comfortable environment for continuing to learn and become a better boater. Freedom Boat Club has given me the opportunity to continue doing something I love without the expense, maintenance, and stress of owning another boat. Now I can relax, enjoy the water, and make wonderful memories during my retirement. I am so grateful I found Freedom Boat Club before investing in another boat. Joining has been one of the best decisions I've made for enjoying my retirement and my love of boating!

They've been bouncing me from supervisor to supervisor for over 6 months and still have not produced the documentation. They will not provide see-Time documents as they promise. The experience includes a 2 hour rental (extra cost to hire a driver) allowing for a maximum of 10 guests on board. It's $250 for the regular boat and $350 for the pink, and a 15% service fee is imposed. The boat was clean and the ride was extremely comfortable and safe- feeling the breeze on the ocean on a hot day was amazing. They provide you with a safe route and a map to follow with beautiful views, so you don't need to stress about figuring it out. It was also extremely easy to drive despite not having any prior experience, so you really don't need to hire a driver at all. They also have an adorable restaurant that I had no idea about! I definitely need to come back with all my friends and dine in before or after the boat ride.

The pink ones are $350 for two hours, but we went with the blue one for $250. Pretty reasonably priced if you go with about 10 people, which fit comfortably. The table on our duffy was a bit wobbly and the motor was pretty slow. Full throttle was about 3 miles an hour. At least we felt safe driving it around Naples. We brought plenty of snacks and drinks. The Bluetooth connection worked fine but the speakers were a little blown. Despite the condition of the duffy, we still had a blast. The staff was very nice checking us in, getting us started and parking the duffy. I'd totally do this again!
