I only went once to return a leased BMW. I've had problems with the registration ever since, they apparently screwed up the paperwork with the state, and I keep getting notices of tickets which are being collected and ignored by the current owner. I've tried to get this cleared with the state, but they say something happened when it was initially, returned to BMW. It may be a one-off thing. But if you're the one, it's a hassle. read more

My first visit to have my mighty BMW K75S serviced, and all went well. I was able to call and make an appointment within a week. A part had to be ordered, but they found it and had it installed in just a few days. The prices were very reasonable for Bring My Wallet, and the workmanship appears to be excellent. I purchased a 2018 BMW G310R on 10/28/2017. I wanted a black one and as you know if you're in the market for this bike, it is hard to get. I spoke to my local BMW dealer in Austin, Woods Fun Center, and they were trying to switch me to a white one for $6474.11 after TT/L and their ridiculous fees. One call to Alamo BMW found me speaking to Brian Collins who said they had a black one in stock at $6050 out the door. Even with the cost of renting a U-Haul trailer, gas in my Suburban, and some ratchet straps, I came in $330 below the closest competing dealership in Austin. I had a pre-approved loan so I did the entire deal via email with him. I came in, signed some paperwork, and had the motorcycle in less than 30 minutes. No B.S., no mess, and saved hundreds of dollars. They earned my business and I have no complaints. read more

Brought my new purchased 2005 bike here for state inspection, defective fuel strip and recall work I was told it needed, only reason brought my bike to them was because the recall work. Well after having my bike a week, I go to pick it up and a 45 mins wait and $500.00 later ride off and they FORGOT the state inspection. Turn around directly and wait another 30 mins. Shop is a mess, service is questionable at best and a $200.00 quote for a KNOWN issue turned into $500.00 +, yep paid my stupid tax on this one. NEVER GOING BACK TO THEM AGAIN!! Just brought my new R1250GS in for its initial service check. I should add that I bought it in Houston because they had a 2019 left over for a great price. Anyway, Hal, Kermit and the whole crew at Alamo could not be more helpful and positive. I ended up buying some needed accessories which Hal gave me a discount for which was greatly appreciated. This place is horrible. Their customer service is bad from the top down. After speaking with the owner regarding the experience, I realized why they are so bad. He doesn't care either! I went in last fall looking to buy a motorcycle but was told I couldn't even test drive one unless I insured it- and they didn't "know me," so I was told to leave. Seriously? We are traveling from Washington state and needed a 42K service and new tires for our K1600GTL. Called the service manager with 4 days notice, and they worked us into the schedule. Very good people to deal with. They ordered the tires and they were ready for us. Got in and out and on to the hill country without missing a beat. Even though we were not local and regular customers, they were extremely accommodating. Very reasonably priced . Management was definitely a participant in the daily business and made us comfortable. NOT BIKER FRIENDLY AT ALL! These guys could not be bothered to inspect my motorcycle, even though they advertise the service with a big sign, and they sell and service motorcycles. There were plenty of people working there, but the boss said they were too busy to do a 5 minute state inspection, and sent me packing. Please take your business anywhere else. These guys just do not understand customer service. The shop is a filthy, chaotic mess too, which is a big red flag. read more
