It's a really beautiful theater. I've been here a few times and have always had a good experience. I usually just have a beer during the movie but when I was there last I noticed they have a vegan menu which I super appreciate so I made sure to make mental note to eat dinner next time I came for a movie. Tonight I came and saw Doctor Sleep and it was my first time ordering food and my food was luke warm at best which is a bit frustrating since it's not cheap. I didn't make a fuss since the movie had started. I'll continue to come here but I'll just return to sticking to a beer or two while I comfortably watch my movie. read more

Seats are on the smaller side compared to AMC, theater was super cold with my jacket on and a blanket, vanilla milkshake tasted very processed and too sweet...definitely not haagen daz. Popcorn was good. I had to ask for napkins that was annoying and wait forever for them of course because they have to see my paper written request first which takes time then grab the items. Also Annoyed since I specifically mentioned I had gift cards to redeem and they took pictures of them and then of course charged the entire order to my CC so I had to hunt someone down from the back kitchen to help me remedy the situation once my movie ended. Not something I wanted to do at 10pm after my movie. The lobby was empty and no one was around to assist. Hot chocolate was $11!!! Never paid so much for hot chocolate in my life and the cookies were hard as a rock. Would be nice to have an option for the hot chocolate alone. Definitely sugar overkill with the vanilla milkshake, hot chocolate with 2 cookies. Cookies are were tossed and I only a few sips of the hot chocolate and millshake. Definitely a sad experience for $50 in food and drinks and $40 in tickets (not including processing fees). It had been almost 1-2 years since I last visited the Alamo and this visit confirmed the reason why I wasn't too eager to return. It would be nice to have senior pricing as well. I will end on a good note that the decor inside is cool, popcorn was good, and the sound within the theater was great . Made my 1st trip to Alamo Drafthouse Saturday night to see Hustler, have drinks and dinner. Drinks were on point. Queso was hands down one of the best I have EVER had! Delicious! Dinner was tasty. However... We write our orders down as the theater lights have gone down and server grabbed it and put our orders in. I ordered my Royale with no onions and no garnish. A food runner came out asking me if I really meant no meat.... Maybe our server fat fingered the order... There were no onions however there was garnish on it. Don't think there was any bacon it. Boyfriend's dinner seemed to be missing the coleslaw on his chicken sandwich. Our server while a bit out there was good. We will be back! read more

Update: A Manager reached out to me and went over my concerns and helped to make things right. Really appreciated. Will update review again after our return visit. ------- I tried to avoid posting this publicly, but I sent a message to the "contact" form as well as responded to a "how was your experience" survey request and wasn't contacted back from either, which just adds to the frustration as it feels like they aren't interested in a long-time customer's feedback. I went to the Littleton location many times (including when it first opened) and then when Sloans Lake location opened, that became my new closest location - so we went there often after that. Both had some initial hiccups but we understood staff was being trained and not everything would be great - and they did get great quickly! I've always liked Alamo Drafthouse but after moving to Green Valley Ranch area its a long ways to go - but we still have been doing it because we prefer it to the nearby options. So we were excited for the Westminster location to open even though its still not super close...but closer. My order took forever. It was the totally wrong meal. When I put up a card saying I got the wrong meal, it took forever. No apology. By the time I got my replacement/correct meal (which still was missing fries which should have been included according to the menu) they were almost ready to close out checks... and the food wasn't great. Worse, my expensive "the king" milkshake had a comical amount of bacon in it... as if someone was playing a joke. Really not good. Then, I *believe* a plain-clothed manager was standing directly next to us.. very distracting. With all the public shootings that have happened lately, it was making me nervous as he was scanning the theatre and fidgeting with his pockets. I wasn't sure whether to put up a card or if we should walk out, but I could tell he was making others around us nervous too. I think he picked up on it and moved, but it took 10-15 mins, distracting me from the movie and making myself and my wife nervous. If it was a manager - dumb place to stand. If it wasnt? Someone should have asked him to sit in his seat or leave. Annoyed no one from the theatre responded to my email about these events... $70 is a lot of money to spend on a movie and some half-assed food and a bad movie experience. read more

This is probably the coolest movie theater I have ever visited. It is straight up a 1940s art deco movie theater. The inside is as much a throwback as the outside, but with all the modern conveniences of course. The theaters themselves offer comfy reclining seats, and a wonderful menu full of delicious items. I enjoyed a Royale with Cheese while I watched Spiderman - Far From Home! This is my new go-to theater. I can't wait to go back! read more

I am so glad this location is finally open! It's very nice. The food was mostly good today. I thought the kids Mac n Cheese was too spicy. My granddaughter wouldn't eat it. The BBQ wings did not have much flavor to the sauce said another granddaughter. The cheese burger and fries were delicious. The chicken fingers were good as well as the deep fried pickles said another grandchild. The young lady who waited on us was awesome and explained everything very well. We went to see Toy Story 4 and the kids thought is was very loud. The youngest sat with her hands over her ears off and on. We loved the seating and the overall comfort of the theater. The staff was very polite and helpful. I'll be back, they will work out the bugs. read more

When we asked about it the 1st time we were told the kitchen was backed up 40 minutes later when we were told it was last call when we asked where our food was our server said oh it hasn't come out yet then asked if we still wanted it. I generally enjoy this theater, but have had to leave the last few times I've attended due to the sound. Do the owners think the population is going deaf? The Dolby sound is well over anything I have experienced at any other theater, and even with earplugs I couldn't handle the intensity. Theatres in general have been inching up sound volumes over the past few years, but folks, this feels like 100 db levels. It's too much when I have to shout to be heard by my waitress 3 feet away during the previews. read more

Make sure you fill out your receipt and not leave it blank, even though I left a cash tip. Guess my server felt it was okay to fill out herself for an extra 20% for the stale popcorn and 1 beverage. Don't care for a refund and it's not about the money but about the principle. read more

Our first time to an Alamo Drafthouse! It was great. They had a good selection of wine and beer. We did not order any food. But the novelty of having servers unobtrusively and skillfully wait on us while we watched a movie with minimal interruptions was wonderful and I'm sure it will become a habit! Each seat is a recliner, and everyone has their own individual table. There's a little light thoughtfully placed right by the table so you can use it to write your order and view the menu. The waiters wear black and crouch down as they take orders and deliver items, so there is virtually no disturbance while you watch your film. I also LOVE that they regulate on people talking or using cell phones. Kick them out! Yes!!!! And the movie ticket itself is only like $12. I love it. Gonna come back for sure! read more

This was a joke. This was the first time I went to the feast house and I asked the staff what the difference was with this movie and he told me that we want to have a good movie experience. Well hell you can't when the stupid wait staff keeps walking past you in the movie. What a joke I would rather stick with amc at least you won't have the dam wait staff keep walking past and squaring while watching a movie.. Okay so I tried it again and at least the wait staff didn't bother me but I had to ask them to turn up the sound for Star Wars. I could hear the people in front of me drinking there soda while the opening chase seen and I could with the falcon. You would think a theater would pump up the sound so you can feel the experience in your seats especially when your watching Star Wars. The only thing I did like was the reclining seats. Beautiful venue. Perfect place to watch "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood" as the film is over two hours long. Comfortable seating (recliners!) and great service. Little pricey but I don't often go to to the movies so I can justify spending a little more for a unique and comfortable experience. read more

My favorite movie theater in the area. I'm so glad one opened in Westminster so I don't have to drive down to Sloan's Lake all the time. I much prefer Alamo to AMC, the theaters are a lot cleaner and the staff is always nice and friendly, and if something gets messed up they're quick to fix it. I'm a season pass member and was seeing a couple movies a week normally, and I can't wait to get back after covid. read more

Love love love this theater! If you're a true cinephile this was made for you. Glowing neon and Art Deco from the twenties classic Metropolis greets you in both the bar and the small memorabilia store in the lobby. Although the staff is having growing pains the food and drinks are great but the star of the show IS the show great sound great visuals and great seating arranged to the wait staff is unobtrusive. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The draft beer list was really diverse with some outstanding craft breweries represented. Love Alamo!!! Screens are BIG & even if you're in the 1st 3 rows, you're not looking straight up for a crick-in-the-neck. Lots of movie parties w/ fun props & themed food. Regular menu is delicious! You can get anything from traditional movie food to gourmet burger/adult shake. There's a full bar to relax in pre/post movie (which you can go to regardless if you're seeing a movie or not). The seats are super comfortable, the decor is fun and unique, popcorn excellent and the service was fast and friendly.

This place was very clean and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. They have little tables to use for your food order, they also have small lights under the table so you can see the menu/bill without needing to use your phone. The seats recline and were comfortable. The only potential negative is if you do not like people walking by during the movie. The staff do a great job of being quick and often squatting down, I did not think it was disturbing at all but some may not like that. read more

First the good. The employees at this theatre were very nice. The food has improved since the last time I was at an Alamo Drafthouse. It's still pricey, but about on par with someplace like Chili's. Now the bad. These were the most uncomfortable seats I've encountered in a long time. I have back problems and these seats did not support my back at all. Plus, the little trays are not movable. In order to rise from a seated position I have to be able to have my hips back and my torso bent forward, which was impossible to do with the tray in the way. I literally had to drop to my knees and rise from a kneeling position. My son and I drove from Northeastern Colorado to see the last Star Wars movie and decided that Emperor Palpatine must have designed these seats to torture prisoners. In the future, we will go to the Alamo Drafthouse in Lakewood. It's a longer drive, but unless they've changed things, they have reasonably comfortable seats and little tables instead of immobile trays. I thought the seats at the planetarium were bad. I thought the seats at the Elvis Theatre were bad. These were worse. read more

Another GREAT Alamo theater! Great staff! Great conversation with the main ticket seller at the box office! Great service! I like the credit card readers at the tables, making it quick and easy to pay! Only complaint, and I have this at every Alamo. You have to eat the food quickly! The pizza and popcorn I had were both cold just moments after I received them, but it's like that at every Alamo. But great air conditioning. So eat fast, or the food is COLD. I've been going to the drafthouse for years and love the new location. I actually worked at the drafthouse when I lived in Texas years ago and kept going back because it's such a great concept. We went for the first time to the outdoor summer series and it was so much fun. They had a great pre-show themed for Coco and the snack station was a nice touch. I love the drafthouse popcorn and was glad I could buy some during the event. The staff was super friendly and as usual, the food/drinks were great. We will be back soon! read more

Good thing the movie was decent because service left a lot to be desired. Ordered popcorn before the credits even started, didn't get it til 15 mins into the movie. Tried to order a refill and more food more than 30 mins before the movie ended, never got either. They rushed out some popcorn with a to go container at the end. Great service all around - delicious food too. The only other movie theater/dine in combo like this is been to before was sticky and dingy, but I'd heard good things about Alamo Drafthouses and was excited to try one out. The burgers were great, as was the beer-bacoa queso. Aside from the food, the employees were very attentive and the projection was definitely better than your run of the mill theatre.
