If my hand wasn't positioned exactly how she wanted, SMACK. If my fingers didn't move fast enough, SMACK. If I blinked wrong? Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't get smacked for that too. It felt more like dealing with a correctional officer than a nail tech. I was genuinely afraid to move my fingers because every tiny adjustment was met with a disciplinary tap, as if I was being punished just for existing. (There were other men there who actually took responsibility, such as the ones who asked for a refund after she added gel when we didn't request it -- and she charged us for a spa treatment instead of the usual $20 fee.) At that point, I was just expecting to be charged extra for breathing or emotional distress. If you enjoy being treated like an inmate instead of a client, this is the place for you. If not, run. Protect your hands.

My husband went to the front desk to ask how much longer the wait would be, but the employees at the front were eating and did not provide a response. Customer service and professionalism appeared to be lacking throughout the entire visit. An eyebrow wax is a quick service, and there was no communication regarding the delay. After waiting and receiving no assistance, I ultimately chose to leave. I understand that businesses can get busy, but customers should at least be acknowledged and kept informed. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet even basic expectations for customer service.

She used a high-speed drill, cutting my skin three times and grinding my natural nails until they were paper-thin and painful. * Poor Service: When I asked for a new tech, the second lady had a bad attitude and was confused by a simple color request (Pink D02). The manager had to intervene just to find the bottle. * Safety Hazards: I explicitly told reception I cannot soak in acetone. The second tech ignored this and tried to wrap my fingers in acetone foil while a different chemical remover was already applied to them. They do not know basic safety or application techniques. I went in for a manicure and left with damaged nails.
