Checking in at the counter for pick up was also confusing as I was quoted 3 different prices with varying deposits depending on which card I used. No explanation of fees or add ons. I declined any extra coverage. I have never had this happen with a rental with any company before and will NEVER rent a car through Hertz again.

Excellent experience…read more Yes. You have to take two shuttles. The first from your airline terminal to the rental car terminal. The second from the airline terminal to Sixt. It took me a total of 15-20 minutes to get to Sixt after retrieving my luggage. When you arrive at the rental car area simply take the escalator downstairs and you will see a sign for Sixt. I called the number and the shuttle was there within minutes. It takes about seven minutes to get from the rental car terminal to Sixt. Upon my arrival to their office I was told that the economy car I requested was unavailable so they upgraded me to a BMW. Great staff. Great vehicles. Great price. It cost me under $20 a day. I've paid at least double that for a Corolla at the larger rental companies. If you can spare the additional 7 minutes in travel you should use this company.

I have emailed Sixt with pictures of the windshield chips and dent with no response ever. I have also had the phone run around on multiple occasions. I have since read about them and have found out this has been an issue or many others resulting in a prior class action lawsuit. Rent from anyone but Sixt.

I have rented cars from this location several times and it has gotten progressively worse. This last time will be my last time. They do not have any people skills and customer service is non existent. I always buy the Loss/Damage insurance for peace of mind that what ever happens I don't have to worry (like someone dinging your door in a parking lot) They try to up sell you on other insurance not in a salesman hey you need this kind of way but more of a strong arm, if you don't buy it and something happens I am charging you the maximum for repair. I guess you could say they try to sell it to you in a threatening tone. When I returned the car two gentlemen came and got on their hands and knees and started to inspect the rims and around the wheel wells for chips or scratches and pointed out MINUTE marks no one would EVER see when checking the car during a torrential downpour when I picked it up. I reminded them I had "the insurance" and instead of just saying ok your covered they said there were going to take it "back to the shop" for further inspection and I would be charged if they found something that was not covered (like glass apparently) They now have a 250 dollar cleaning fee also if it is returned dirtier than they think is reasonable. Their call, not yours. The same fellows also own the Avis franchise at the Windsor Airport so I would also avoid that one too. In other locations that I have rented from Budget they have been great and hassle free. In this case the parent company really should investigate this company operating their franchise because they are really doing a disservice to an otherwise decent company

The shuttles are smaller but they seem to have enough in rotation. Our driver "The Candyman" offered a basket of free candy and he lifted suitcases on and off the shuttle. He even did a quick song and dance move as he loaded bags! He made my day. I will definitely switch all my rentals to Enterprise based on this positive end to end experience.

We took the airport shuttle here and the line was super long. My Husband checked in, he has one of those great customer accounts since he frequently rents from Enterprise. Well, we saw several families waiting for their vehicles for over 30 mins. A majority of the time, an employee would come to talk to the people waiting on cars to ask if they would rather rent another class/type of vehicle. This was a RED FLAG and it happened about 4 times in 45 minutes. At an hour of waiting, a male employee comes over and asks if we would consider a Dodge Durango (which is not the suv class that we reserved). We let him know that it would not work for us, due to our party size and luggage amount. We have 3 people at and over 6 foot and 1 who is 5ft 8 inches, plus 8 pieces of luggage, backpacks, purses, etc., which is why we reserved a premium SUV. Meanwhile, 2 smaller (shorter and less people) got their premium suvs and drove off.... Another employee named Owen asked again (this is at 1hr 15mins) if we would take a Dodge Durango. Again, we declined and thanked him for offering. We then had to explain our party size and luggage amount. He said that they are checking the whole fleet including National and Alamo lots... Owen returns and asks my Husband to have a look at Jeep Wagoneer. My Husband said that it was not the class that we reserved, but it will work. Owen took a bit off of the price for the hassle and smaller vehicle class. Overall, they did not have the vehicle class that we reserved and paid for, it was snowing, it was cold, it was very bad. We waited a total of 1 hour and 45 mins to get a vehicle; even though we reserved a month in advance. I do not recommend this location during the holidays. When we brought the suv back, we prepaid for fuel and the estimated cost held on the credit card was set. We even brought the suv back with almost a half tank of fuel. The total was $40 over what the original credit card hold was. This place is a joke, scam, and most importantly unreliable.
