She treated me less than human and was frankly, unkind from the moment she walked in the door. If I hadn't waited over a month for an appointment with this office, I would have gotten up and walked out 10-20 seconds in. I thought "there's no way that this could get any worse" but it did. There seemed to be no "care" here and I left feeling more alone and scared than I did before my appointment. Patients come to these appointments on some of their worst days, having been cast off by overwhelmed Emergency Departments and/or PCPs who find GI issues outside of their scope. We are people who are scared, who are in pain, who are struggling to manage an "unseen" illness that greatly impacts our days - yet continue to support our families, to work, to maintain some semblance of a normal life - even as we know "something isn't right". I just wanted to be heard, respected, and helped. I worked in a hospital for 6 years. I would NEVER treat anyone the way that Sharon treated me. If I ever had? I would have expected to be IMMEDIATELY FIRED. I was hoping for help, for kindness, for understanding; for just one healthcare professional to actually listen and to take me seriously. The reason I am glad…read moreto be here is that I am having my consult for an endoscopy that puts me one step closer to weight loss surgery (there's a LOT of steps and this is one). Additionally, I am here to be screened for colon cancer after 2 of my friends under 40 have been diagnosed in the last 18 months. Can't be too careful. Scheduling was a mixed bag... the wait to talk to someone after you push the right button was kind of long, but I feel like if you know that going into it, it's ok because you can be prepared to wait. Once I did get on the phone with them, scheduling was painless and quick. They asked questions actually wanted to know WHY I was scheduling - not expecting me to know, since I am not a medical professional - and making sure they set me up with the right kind of provider. I initially was scheduled next month, but I called again to see if there was a sooner opening and there was! So, they set me up with that. They also made sure I knew how to get here. Getting parked and into the building was easy - suite 330, so regardless of which side of 2202 you park on, just grab the elevator or stairs to the third floor and follow the signs! Getting checked in as a new patient was surprisingly smooth. They mailed me my paperwork ahead of time, so having that done, I was checked in and waiting in plenty of time for my appointment. Will update on quality of care once I've met with my PA and scheduled with a doctor for a procedure.

Awful. Disorganized. Frustrating…read more I've been a patient at this clinic for five years, through three different doctors, two management teams, and four medical assistants. Despite all the turnover, nothing has improved. Phone calls go unanswered, questions are ignored, and communication is nearly nonexistent. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment, expect minimal effort, rushed care, and providers who don't listen. The most concerning experience I had was being pressured into an unnecessary procedure. During that discussion, I was told there was imaging of the area they wanted to operate on. There wasn't. That area had never been imaged. When I questioned it and reviewed my records, no such imaging existed. That completely destroyed my trust in this clinic. After five years of being dismissed, ignored, and receiving consistently poor care, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone. A healthcare provider should work to help patients recover and answer their concerns. Not leave them feeling like they're wasting the clinic's time. If you're looking for compassionate, organized, patient-centered care, I strongly encourage you to seek treatment elsewhere.

He spent the time needed and clearly laid out a path forward toward helping me get healthier. As a patient that is chronically early for their appointments nothing is more irritating than someone showing up late and making me (who made sure to show up on time) wait longer. He asks several times if I have any questions and/or concerns. This time he asked if there was anything they could do to make the process better....and their actually wasn't. The key is, listen to the nurses and follow all the instructions they give you. I got a little tired of the phone calls, but I can imagine they have some clients who don't follow the instructions and make a mess during procedure time. I would have no qualms about getting here again in five years.

Buyer Beware! My experience with Olympia Multi-Specialty Clinic wasn't about the quality of the…read moremedical care--it was about the complete lack of billing transparency. Before scheduling my colonoscopy, I had multiple conversations with the clinic about insurance coverage. I also contacted my insurance company, which told me a preventive colonoscopy would be covered at 100% with no copay, deductible, or prior authorization. I relayed that information back to the clinic and completed all of the required pre-procedure appointments and paperwork. At no point did anyone explain that the findings from my previous colonoscopy could change how this procedure would be billed or that I could end up owing nearly $1,400. After I received the bill, I was told for the first time that because polyps had been removed during my colonoscopy nine years earlier, this procedure was billed differently. That information was apparently known before my procedure but was never shared with me, despite my repeated questions about insurance coverage. I wrote a letter to the billing manager, never received a response, and was later told there was nothing they could do and that my account could receive fines and be sent to collections if I didn't pay. My advice to anyone scheduling a procedure here: don't rely on being told it's "covered." Ask for the CPT and diagnosis codes, ask specifically whether your medical history could change how your procedure is billed, and verify every possible billing scenario with your insurance company. I wish someone had given me that advice before I received a surprise bill.
