Wish I had read the reviews before taking my car here. Might have saved me some money. Recently, while on vacation, my 2003 Suburban was misdiagnosed by another dealer in CA. I brought it in to have them check the work of the other dealer. They said no problem. $160 dollars later they had done a full inspection of the car, which is not what I asked for, including which light bulbs were not working. I just wanted them to see what was making the noise and if it was the work that was performed by the other dealer. After arguing for a few minutes I realized that this must be done all the time because he knew exactly what to say when being accused of being swindled. I paid for getting the shaft and left. Not before firing my service number out the window as I left. By the looks of the other reviews, dishonesty seems to be common practice here. Will never return, hope you do the same. read more

After the AC went out on my 1 year old car with less than 9,000 miles on it I was surprised. Being that I purchased the vehicle brand new from Alan Webb I definitely felt they would take care of me. After taking it in to be diagnosed they said a "rock" broke into the condenser while driving and caused the issue. After research I found that my vehicle issue had been experienced by others and was an ongoing issue for the 2012-2013 build years. After repeated attempts to speak to the manager and even going through Chevy customer service they would not return our call. Chevy customer service told us they could not get in touch with the "manager", but we could try another dealership. We took it to Ron Tonkin Chevrolet and they took care of it the SAME DAY! NO charge! The service Alan Webb offers to their customers is laughable and I will tell everyone NOT to purchase vehicles from them. We will take our business to Ron Tonkin. read more

We arrived at 8am sharp for a scheduled oil change, and it took 1:45 minutes. We paid for lifetime oil changes, but find that there service department is unacceptably slow. Sold me a lemon. I had the car for 2 days before the check engine light came on and it started smoking from the exhaust. I had the engine code tested at an auto parts store and it tested that both the left and right bank were running lean, which suggests that this was an ongoing problem and Alan Webb Chevy reset the check engine light rather than complete any necessary repairs. I would NEVER purchase a vehicle from these people in the future. I will go out of my way to make sure no friends or family do the same. read more

Avoid Alan Webb Chevrolet! They are scammers just trying to get money! Took my car in and they said I needed new brakes. The quote was $2,200. I went to Les Schwab and they quoted me $600. Then they looked at my brakes and said I was at 5mm. My brakes don't need replacement until they are at about 0.76mm! Ken Harris is a real ahole. Got upset when I gave him an online discount coupon because he had to rerun the receipt. Charged me $232 bucks to replace the gas cap. Alan Webb Chevrolet only cares about closing the deal, not about your financial info and certainly not your time. 8/25/12: leased a Chevy from Alan Webb Chevrolet in Vancouver, WA. 1st lease, 1st Chevy. 10/8: learn Alan Webb sent lease paperwork to the wrong bank. 10/9 re-sign lease and make payment #2. 10/20: learn lease paperwork was again incorrect. Morning of Sunday 10/21: Alan Webb Finance Manager shows up at my house unannounced (we had a guest) with paperwork in hand. My husband was gone but we signed that night and called multiple times to arrange a pick-up - no response. Paperwork picked up 10/22. 10/22: sent letters to Alan Webb's President, General Manager and Sales Manager detailing the issues to that point. No response as of 11/3. 11/1: receive first bill -- states we are past due. 11/2: Call the lender who claims they haven't received payment. Call the dealer. 11/3: Learn Alan Webb didn't send one of the payments. They state it was sent 11/2, after we called and they discovered the error. They consider the matter closed. We now have the arduous task of straightening out our credit with the lender. I believe we will continue to need Alan Webb's involvement. The most astounding thing is throughout this process Alan Webb Chevy has made no efforts to apologize, earn our business, or show they care. We have to push them to act and rectify their errors. This is purely a review of the Sales team and my sales experience. I saw they had bad reviews on Yelp, but good reviews on Cars.com, so I wasn't sure about shopping here but I tried anyways. To summarize my experience, I was trying to buy a new 2014 Chevy Volt from out of state. For various complicated reasons, I ended up trying to buy one Alan Webb. I had 4 phone calls with Jamie and a total of at most 30 mins of talk time. I was very serious about buying a car and after a few initial calls and questions on Saturday, Jamie said she would get back to me with the answers. She called me 5 mins before they were about to close and provided me the details I wanted. I was satisfied up until this point. During this last phone call, I offered $750 below what they were asking. She said she would ask her manager and get back to me the next day. The entire day Sunday, I did not hear anything. Monday, nothing. So Monday afternoon, I emailed and called Jamie, but no response. My first thoughts were that this could have been one of the simplest sales she could have made (4 phone calls and 30 mins, I didn't even see or test drive the car). However, she blew it by not even calling me back and not even providing a counter-offer. I didn't give her an ultimatum on the price, I would have expected a counter-offer if my price was not acceptable. However, from the lack of responsiveness, I have decided I will not buy a car from here. Yes, they have great prices, but if this experience is a sign of what's to come from the sales team, then I can only imagine what the rest of the process would be like. read more

BEWARE THEY OVERFILLED MY ENGINE WITH OIL! This review is for David. Tells me the oil is right where it needs to be. I have contact attorney general of state of Washington. He totally demeans his customers and acts like people don't know how to check there oil to cover the fact that the tech destroyed my engine. I checked my oil after engine cooled off to find there tech overfilled my engine with oil which caused my engine to have zero oil pressure. Now they want to replace part of engine after my truck running overfilled.They also parked my vehicle up against a bush and said they never parked it near a bush and they refuse to fix it. I took my vehicle to another shop and had to have it fixed because they refused to deal with me a women who knows about vehicles and made a scene because they are out to destroy peoples vehicles! The parking situation and trying to physically get a vehicle in or out of this place is a total cluster. At Ford across the street if you get a call that your vehicle is ready you can just pick up your keys unless you have questions. We purchased a used car 18 months ago at Alan Webb Chevrolet. We also purchased the extended warranty, even the upgraded service package because my car is a Subaru WRX and we were told the Tech package is the one to go with as it covers MORE. In ADDITION to purchasing the warranty we purchased the oil for life, because as the finance manager advised that it's a turbo car. One less thing for us to worry about..... FALSE! 18 months later we have a dead cylinder which per all of the documents in my sales contract would be covered under engine/transmission part of my warranty. So this is when Alan Webb starts showing their true colors: *Called to see when my car could be looked at, since I have the warranty and it appears to be covered. We are told by Stacy Hamilton they are a month out... *Showed up in person to Alan Webb Chevrolet the next day, Stacy proceeds to tell us they are 2 weeks out now because her tech can look at our car. Her solution to not having a drivable car- she has connections with Enterprise and can get us a car for $25 a day! What an awesome deal!! We then asked if we can get the car released so that it can be worked on ASAP. By 1130 that day we found a dealership willing to take it ASAP and look it. Stacy was unable to get the contract released until 530pm that same day! One more day without a car! *Got the car towed to a Subaru dealership finally midday Friday and knew we would have to wait till Monday to get any response due to the weekend. *While at the Subaru dealership National Warranty company requests oil change records. My husband calls and keeps getting voicemail. Finally I get through and get the copies sent over via email- thank you to female who answered the phone and handled that in a timely manner! Maybe teach your coworkers a thing or two about customer service! *The next day National tells us that they will not touch the car due to the infrequency of oil changes! What the hell does that mean, I asked. We bought the oil for life and took our car to Alan Webb Chevrolet for our oil changes! Come to find out, Alan Webb's service departments recommendations of oil change intervals was what VOIDED our warranty from covering the repairs (which we have in writing) How come we are being punished for following the dealers recommended service schedule..? *This is Friday now and we call so speak with the Finance manager Dave, did not get a phone call back like we told we would. Naturally, since we didn't get a phone we showed up bright and early Saturday morning to talk with Dave. Dave was the Finance manager who sold us the car 18 months ago. As we began telling Dave our story of what's going on he starts checking the paperwork. What we found out that day was that Dave charged us DOUBLE for our oil for life so that our oil changes would be done every 3000 miles (not the regular 5000-6000 miles), which would meet the manufacture requires of our Subaru of 3750. So not only did we pay DOUBLE, Alan Webb's service department was scheduling us for 5000 and 6000 mile oil changes. WE PAID DOUBLE FOR A SERVICE THAT WE DIDN'T GET IN ADDITION, THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IN SCHEDULING OUR OIL CHANGES HAS RUINED MY CAR! NOW THE WARRANTY COMPANY WILL NOT FIX IT BECAUSE I GOT MY OIL CHANGED PER THE SERVICE SCHEDULE THAT ALAN WEBB HAD GIVEN US IN WRITING TO FOLLOW..? Jim Johnson will not call us and tell us what is going on NOR has he even offered to fix our car because of the poor recommendations by his service department. We want our car fixed and a full refund for the warranty and oil for life that we paid for that we were scammed out of because of his own employees. Gilbert also works exceptionally hard to find exactly what we want, and if they don't have it, he'll track it down and have it brought to the dealership. Gilbert has been our go to Chevy guy, and always keeps us in the loop on upcoming vehicles that he knows are our style. Dave, also makes signing and understanding the financial side easy and quick, and we usually leave with a payment and interest rate that "WE WANT." Dealing with Alan Webb Chevy has always been an excellent experience, we've even referred others to them and they would say the same. Great Job Alan Webb Chevy, Keep up the good work!! I'm not too sure about these other people, but this has been by far THE BEST experience I have ever had buying a car, so I can only assume that they have unrealistic expectations or a re just plain lying. My initial email to Brian Lowe simply stated "I don't want to come in until it's time to sign, I don't want to haggle on the price and I don't want to deal with a pushy finance guy trying to sell me crap I don't want or need." Brian was very thorough, and patient as I changed vehicles on him no less than 4 times and he had to run the #'s every time. When I settled on the vehicle and price I wanted I had my Pop's go check it out and with the thumbs up I headed to the dealership. When I walked in I handed Brian my license, pay stubs & INS card - he made copies and handed me the keys to test drive. When I returned 30 minutes later we went into Jacob Ambert's office and I signed the paperwork. I was in and out in 45 minutes including the test drive. Brian let me know to call him, on his cell phone, day or night if I needed anything. On Sunday I texted him that I needed a tray (optional on this model) for the center console. Monday he called me back letting me know that he had the tray for me and I picked it up last night. For anyone that is thinking I must have excellent credit and/or had a co-signer, you're wrong. My credit is "Fair" according to FICO, Jacob went to bat for me with the banks and I was able to get a 4.3% interest rate through the local credit union, to which I do not belong. The team of Brian and Jacob went to bat for me and I couldn't be happier!! I love my new car!!! read more

So... Took my car in a few weeks back to have the heated seat fixed on the driver side and said hey while you got it here my right rear tire pressure keeps changing and it's always lower than the rest, yea no problem. Go to pick up my car and told it was nothing they could find but reset the monitors anyways... Well before we even leave the lot the pressure is off again but they were closing so I said I'll call them later that week and talk to someone. Call, the guy I've been working with has moved buildings and now I'm working with Secora Jones who seems to have the worst customer service and zero fucks attitude. I'm told if it's not warranty I'll have to pay for the rental of course but that's only info I'm given, few hours later get a phone call well it's a small piece of metal in your tire and that's not under warranty so you must pay for your rental and diagnostics which is like 148 so after tax about 200 dollars, my wife and I are pissed they didn't let me know of the diagnostics charge or anything until they want their money. I return the car to enterprise and when I get to Alan Webb ask why it wasn't found last time and all I get is "I guess they didn't take the tire off the rim". So what the eff did they actually do? I have anxiety and depression and by now my anxiety is out of control so I just tell them don't fix it and get charged for half the diagnostics and rental so roughly 120.00 for them to look at it like they were supposed to last time they said they did. I'll never come here again, I'll never bring another vehicle here again and I'll actively make sure everyone I know doesn't do business here ever. read more

I had a very positive experience with my dealings with Webb Chevrolet. I was looking for a specific vehicle and they had the only one in the area left from 2014. Made a phone call, talked to Niles, and made tentative plans to come in the following weekend. Car was as expected, in and out with a new car in under an hour. Quick and pain free. Other reviews say the place is unprofessional, I think low pressure and light hearted is the atmosphere. And it is not what most people expect. This place is pretty weak and in some super sensitive areas. particularly when they send you in the back room to do your final papers and enthusiastically tell you you're going to "get oil changes ,roadside assistance ,and several other warranty like benefits "that make you feel really good about the purchase as if these items come for free. Then when you look closely at the contract you'll notice your final sale price has gone up by $5,000 and in actuality they should have offered to "sell you "those benefits as opposed to claiming you're going to "get them" which implies that they're included in the price of the deal .it's a very shady practice. Luckily I caught it .I wouldn't recommend going here it's not a very trustworthy organization. though that has little to do with the quality of the cars they sell. I purchased three cars from Alan Webb in my lifetime and after reviewing my contracts closely I find it this is a regular practice and they are suspect organization at best. I was about to buy a brand new bolt from them but I will look somewhere. The GM told me they are required to follow up on reviews in 24 hours or less. Never ever heard a word from them. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!! I had the WORST experience today when I took our Suburban in for service. First of all, the service people were borderline rude and extremely cold. Not friendly at all. Then, even though I had an appointment scheduled, they told me they couldn't do the warranty items I needed since the "app" I used to schedule the appointment didn't schedule me for the right technician. So now all I could get was an oil change and a tire rotation. To make things worse, they called me mid-service to tell me they couldn't find the lug nut key so I told them EXACTLY where to find it, but they called again and said it wasn't there - so no tire rotation!!! When I went to pick up the vehicle, I had the service person walk with me out to the vehicle and pointed to the EXACT location where the lug nut key was, which was the EXACT location I told her on the phone where it would be. So now, I wasted 3 hours of my morning for a stinking oil change when I could have just gone down the street and had that done in 15 minutes!!! I'm so angry right now and want to communicate to everyone who reads this to NOT WASTE THEIR TIME WITH ALAN WEBB CHEVROLET!!! They will be EXTREMELY disappointed. Take your business elsewhere. Jason, in sales, is the guy to see. I've dealt with a lot of sales consultants and know a good one when I see one. Knowledgeable on any makes and models I spoke to him about and did a great job discussing the vehicles available options. He was also knowledgeable on competing models which I found very important when discussing and comparing the two models. Jason spent a lot of time with me answering my questions, grabbing multiple keys for me and answered all my questions. If you're looking for a vehicle, and you're shopping Alan Webb, ask for Jason White. He'll make the buying process easy. Alan Webb also seems to be a good dealership because of their "lowest price" listed type sales approach. While I like to negotiate, Jason made it clear, their best price is listed! Beware of this business! We were sold a lemon and after making 3 trips to Vancouver from Spokane, we ended up returning the vehicle. The brakes were bad, transmission needed replaced, and about 4 other things were wrong with the car. When confronted, the company told me it was my fault I bought such a POS car. They were so disrespectful, unprofessional, and unwilling to assist us with even a little bit of money to pay for the 4th inspection we got for the car (because they failed to inspect it properly the first 3 times) and the 3 12-hour trips we made. Just be prepared and get copies of all the inspections done! Such a bad experience but I guess we learned our lesson! read more

I was at my daughters in Vancouver Washington for Thanksgiving. I needed to leave two days later to head over to Central Oregon where I lived. I was told to call Alan Webb auto group by Carmax where I purchased the car. I got a hold of Ken Harris. He was amazing, and told me that it was under warranty. He hooked me up so fast in the same day and was polite and caring even though he was going through a terrible pain from a surgery he had just had two days prior. They have the best selection within 150 miles we drove an hour and half just to see the inventory. We found all the things we where looking for in the car, dealership, and the staff. As you drive down the little street before you turn into the dealership it was FULL of parked cars. Also there was cars parked everywhere. It was so over crowded and no where to park. This is the absolute worst service department I have ever dealt with for a vehicle. First off, it can take days to even speak with someone to SCHEDULE your appointment. Always get transferred to a "service advisor" which goes to voicemail every single time. When I did get an appointment the first time, Ken did not even truly listen to what my issue was. Unfortunately I didn't realize he did not understand what my 2018 suburban needed until I picked it up and my issue was not resolved. (Also I dropped off my car for an early morning appointment and it literally took ALL day long. They called me at 4:30 to come pick it up) oh, and they do not offer loaner vehicles. Pretty ridiculous for a dealership that charges over 50% more than any other place for service to not offer a loaner vehicle when they want your car for the WHOLE day even when you make an appointment. What is the purpose of an appointment then? This is the 3rd new vehicle we have purchased, but our first from Chevrolet and it has absolutely been the WORST service we've ever experienced. (Previous new cars were from Mazda and Kia, both had exceptional service compared to Chevrolet) I've decided to make the extra drive to a much further away Chevrolet for service because this place is seriously so awful! First, the elephant in the room. The staggeringly vast amount of cars they have shoved into every little corner makes this lot a pretty dangerous place to walk around without high visibility clothing. Look twice for drivers as they may not see you with all of the overflow stock they carry. That aside this is a great place to buy a new car. The deal that I was offered on my trade-in and new purchase were as good as it gets. The sales professionals are friendly, knowledgeable and low-pressure. Finance was really fast. I was out of that office in ten minutes flat, which if you've ever purchased a car anywhere else on this planet you know must be some sort of record. If you're looking for a total experience of degradation to include mis-treatment and curt dismissive behaviors - I highly recommend coming here. I have honestly never seen such confusion, utter disregard for service and honest business practices. It seems that their service model is "You're lucky that we're taking the time to service your vehicle." Customers are treated with contention, disregarded for your concerns and as if subordinates. On two separate occasions I have received horrific service - both times leaving with more problems/damage to my vehicle then I came with. Yelp also gives limited charac. count so this is the short version. This last time on 12/3/21 - I was ordered to pick-up my vehicle by 1700. I arrive at 1620 to be treated like meaningless garbage by David Sailer (for the second time) and the poor people who clearly don't get guidance for proper procedures at this service department. One of the main reasons I was there was to have an active recall corrected on my airbags. THEY CRACKED MY DASHBOARD TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE AIRBAG - IN TWO DIFFERENT PLACES. Not to mention that I arrived at 1620 to get my vehicle, only to leave at 1711 because David left and they couldn't find my keys, now that I was late to pickup my child and needed to return to work. Maya Angelou said a couple of important things. One I should have applied after my first encounter with David and Alan Webb in September of 2020 "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." And another that I will surely apply, thanks to David Sailer's absolutely demeaning behavior towards me, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you make them feel." The totality of these interactions SHOWED ME what ALAN WEBB thinks of the customers in this COMMUNITY. Save your dignity, self-sanity and HARD EARNED money and go elsewhere. 2014 Corvette If 0 was an option that's what I would rate them at...... if you value your time or sanity go somewhere else!!!! Where to begin first appointment*** oil change, showed up for our apppintment to get the oil changed 4HRS!! Because employees didn't show up for work!!!! Recommended they call people and advised them if it's not a critical service they're going to do on a car to call people and give them the option to reschedule their appointment rather than wait 4 hours for an oil change **** second appointment warranty work for a failed touch screen, had to order the part. Never received a call that the part came in had to call them. Couple weeks later made the appointment to have the touch screen installed. Showed up for scheduled appointment only to find out that the part had been sent back **** rescheduled the appointment when the part showed up, part defective.... reorder part! Also during that appointment the manual transmission oil was to be changed to a synthetic had multiple conversations to be sure that synthetic oil was put in the transmission. Girlfriend picked up car brought home paperwork only to find out that standard transmission oil was put in the transmission.....amazing!!!! **** new parts showed up actually received a phone call this time. scheduled the appointment to replace the part and have synthetic oil put in the transmission this time. My husband and I came in to see if we could trade our 2018 Honda Civic. No one came out to offer us help my husband had to go in and ask for assistance. Unfortunately the person that came out to help us was John Anderson. He seemed very kind and helpful at first but the second that he asked to see our drivers license he pointed out that I wasn't a citizen and started to ask me all sorts of inappropriate questions like "why aren't you a citizen?" and then he proceeded to tell me that he wouldn't be able to add me as a co-owner because I wasn't a citizen. For some reason he felt that it was appropriate to tell me that I could get deported at anytime for any reason and then to top it all off he insinuated that my husband and I lied about me being a co-owner of my car and made me go get my registration papers to prove it. Needless to say my husband and I both felt uncomfortable and discriminated against. read more

1. customer service was TERRIBLE. Truck needed a new passanger mirror and they were going to charge me $95 to paint it. I couldn't understand why if I come in with a painted mirror to have replaced that the painting isn't part of it. Could take it down the street to Maco and they would have painted it and put it on for $50. Customer service rep tried to tell us that they told us this and informed them they definitely DID NOT tell me I was going to have to pay to have t painted. Then basically accused me of lieing and saying they did tell me. Threw them off when I told them word for word what they said to me and knew that I was right! 2. When we went to get the truck it was blocked in the first time and the 2nd time no one knew where it was and it took 15minutes to find it. 3. Parking lot is horrible. Can never find a parking spot many cars are double parked there in the lanes that everyone has to drive in because there is no customer paking. read more

I was sold a Silverado and was told every 1500 on the lot towed 11,000 lbs. and that they all had the trailering package. I was also told I could put 4500 lbs in the bed, which is over two tons. This was inaccurate information. There is a trailering package that can get a 1500 crew cab to tow 10,800 lbs but that is not what I was sold and I wasn't given the option to get that. When I called the dealership they told me to return the vehicle and didn't offer any option to resolve the fact that the vehicle I was sold didn't match what I came in for. read more

Brought my car in here after getting, "can't even look at your car until Monday" from 4 other dealerships, keep in mind this is Friday morning. I am traveling thru for work and needed someone to at least take a look at my car to let me know what is wrong with it. I called Alan Webb Chevrolet and spoke to Ken. He said the same thing, that they are booked full, but said to bring the car in and ask for him, he said he would do everything he could to get it at least looked at and taken car of if at all possible. This is exactly the service that anyone who buys a car should receive and Ken Harris certainly met and exceeded my expectations. Service dept NOT recommended. Went to have a simple oil change. Had a appointment from their online appointment system. When I arrived the service rep told me that they did not have a mechanic to work on my car. Then he said - Oh, you made a online appointment and implied that it wasn't welcome. He said that it would be over 2 hours before I could get service for a simple oil change. When I said that I was going to wait for the car, he said "normal" people don't do that, they drop the car off. Then he said that I was getting attitude and refused to service me. I asked to speak with the service manager, he supposedly wasn't in. Left my information with another service rep and left. Its been 2 full days and nothing heard. Have been going there since 2011, and never been treated this rudely. read more
