He was generous enough to start setting up fans before confirming to work with them and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole water mitigation process. Always showed up on time and was responsive to any questions I had. Him and his crew were awesome during the demo portion. Put floor and wall protection down and cleaned up after the job was done. Highly recommend Chris and his team to help you out. Very professional and glad It was a good and smooth process coming from horrible situation with water damage. Chris completed his job but the overall job isn't fully complete. Still have to work with them for the rebuild and hope the process continues to be smooth and effortless.

At first, I thought it may have been from the original installation, but Pete came out and explained that the drawer had simply become too heavy and caused the glide to fail. Even though the bathroom was out of warranty, Pete still took the time to help us. He didn't have the part at the time, so I bought it thinking we could fix it ourselves -- we quickly realized we could not! I called Pete again, and he came right by and fixed it for us. When I tried to pay him, he refused. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. It really says a lot about a company that still takes the time to help their customers long after the job is done. During their work, additional issues arose in areas they handled, and in my experience the amount they initially offered to contribute toward repairs did not come close to covering the actual cost. This led to a lengthy back-and-forth over several months, and in the end my insurance company--not Advanced Restoration--covered the repair expenses related to those issues. I also had several concerns about professionalism while the crew was in my home. Despite multiple requests, some workers did not consistently wear shoe covers. I also heard profanity used inside my home, which made me uncomfortable. On one occasion, I observed two workers smoking in my driveway. These were not behaviors I expected from a company working in a residential environment. Overall, based on my own experience, I personally would not use this company again. I hope they take steps to improve communication, professionalism, and care for clients' homes in the future.

The day after the fire we had contractors and public adjusters verbally fighting in our home, trying to win our business. Ray, the owner, was very patient and compassionate. He was very thorough in his explanation of the process and he along with his team delivered everything they promised. They cleaned and restored our belongings, and Lawrence made several trips to our temporary home to bring the things that we needed. We lost some of our pictures but Dave saved all that he could. He cleaned the pictures individually and pried the ones apart that were stuck together. honestly, that would have been so overwhelming for me to try to do. I was so impressed. These guys are very honest, they brought us every last Penny found in the house. There were certain things that we were sensitive about, such as my 3 yr old grandson's belongings. Ray worked with our insurance company to make sure those things were replaced. Our family is beyond grateful for American Fire Recovery.

I was blessed to have Ray, the owner, Lawrence and Dave his managers, and his crew to take care of my Personal Property. My insurance adjuster had explained to me that "Personal Property" is "anything that falls when you turn your house upside down": furniture, appliances (small and large), clothing, kitchen stuff etc. etc. etc. Initially, Ray said that any belongings of my three-year old granddaughter were going to be discarded and replaced by my insurance! That impressed me the most of upon meeting this kind gentleman. When Ray provided thorough information of himself, his company and his crew, I knew I was in good hands. They are/were all so friendly and professional. Everything, I mean everything, was logged; whether to restore or discard. Anything that was restored was cleaned, boxed and stored at his warehouse until we move back home. Ray also had a professional cleaning company take care of our clothes, shoes, purses, hats, caps, etc. that were returned to us within days of the fire. Ray always informed me of the steps he was taking. I have yet to move back home, but Ray does check in on us occasionally; we even received a lovely Xmas card from him. My family recently had the misfortune of experiencing a house fire at my mom's home in Manteca, CA…read more It was a devastating time for all of us, but from the moment Golden Coast Construction came on board, we felt we were in good hands. From May through August 2025, Golden Coast handled a complete restoration of the home--everything from floor to ceiling. The entire house had to be stripped down to the 2x4s, and they rebuilt everything with care and quality: new insulation, sheetrock, texture, baseboards, paint, cabinets, sinks, water heaters, and flooring.
