He was generous enough to start setting up fans before confirming to work with them and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole water mitigation process. Always showed up on time and was responsive to any questions I had. Him and his crew were awesome during the demo portion. Put floor and wall protection down and cleaned up after the job was done. Highly recommend Chris and his team to help you out. Very professional and glad It was a good and smooth process coming from horrible situation with water damage. Chris completed his job but the overall job isn't fully complete. Still have to work with them for the rebuild and hope the process continues to be smooth and effortless.

Absolute HORRIBLE treatment, miserable quality, and a total and nightmare waste of time and money. Btw because I dealt with them I recognize the employees and friends of theirs leaving good reviews for themselves. So all the good ones are scams, subtract those and you'll have full bad reviews I unfortunately and to my great misery dealt with this company 2 times and a buddy of mine 1 time. Three things to consider: 1. They will keep your car for MONTHS at a time and never return unless you pay a crazy premium 2. They will take a HUGE cut out of the check you could get from insurance which btw will not be any different from what you'll get if you do it yourself in a day or two, plus a week to wait on the check in the mail. 3. They will disassemble your car as much as possible and when requested to put it all back (even the non damaged parts) they say that's not our job, take it to a body shop. They keep your car for months saying we're trying to maximize your payout, but in the end they only get the money the insurance would've payed in the first place, collect their HUGE commission, additional fees for dissembling the car, and then and only then release it back to you. Oleg Filev is the worst person you can do business with. Claims express operates on completely empty promises they never fulfill and will give you the worst headache to deal with!!!! At first, I thought it may have been from the original installation, but Pete came out and explained that the drawer had simply become too heavy and caused the glide to fail. Even though the bathroom was out of warranty, Pete still took the time to help us. He didn't have the part at the time, so I bought it thinking we could fix it ourselves -- we quickly realized we could not! I called Pete again, and he came right by and fixed it for us. When I tried to pay him, he refused. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. It really says a lot about a company that still takes the time to help their customers long after the job is done. We had a house fire in June of 2025. Losing our home, belongings, and the process of navigating all…read morethe things we had no idea about (contents, construction, housing, insurance) was a nightmare. The vultures arrived within hours and it was almost impossible to know who to trust. Add to that, everything I heard about contents companies was terrible. Horror story after horror story. Items lost, broken, stolen, overcharging, recovery items still smelling like smoke, you name it. Then we met Ray Ranciato from American Fire Recovery (AFR). He had a kind and caring approach but we still didn't know if we could trust him. We had no pressure from Ray. He met with us several times over the course of a couple of weeks, explained the process thoroughly, and gave us references to check. Every single reference we called had fantastic things to say about Ray and his team. One thing about Ray - he will not leave you hanging. If he doesn't immediately answer your call, he will immediately call you back. The only time he has not answered us has been when he was with another client. We have tons of respect for Ray. This is such a great team of people and we received the best care we could hope for during a very stressful event. Dave did a complete inventory of all our belongings, complete with serial numbers and measurements. This made it so much easier to report unsalvageable items to our insurance company. He took pictures of all of our things, including spreading out the wrecked items and photographing them so we could try to recognize our destroyed belongings. And then there's Lawrence - well, what can we say about Lawrence. He's one of the kindest people I've known. He handled our items with so much respect and care. When he returned boxes of our contents back to us, they were packaged professionally. Every box was put in the room it belonged in (the boxes were labeled by room/contents) with the top split open for us so we could dive in and unpack. Items that were less priority were loaded into our garage, in groups of what room they belonged in. Lawrence would regularly return to remove empty boxes and packing. He took the items we no longer wanted and donated them for us. He even removed our "garbage" items - things that were not donatable. He even offered to hang our pictures throughout the house! We are so grateful for his care and kindness. He and Small Fry (his cute little dog and company mascot) are welcome to our house any time! A fire is a horrific experience. AFR eased the pain for us. I get nothing in return by recommending them. I know how awful a fire is and want other people to have the same great experience my husband and I had.

He was very thorough in his explanation of the process and he along with his team delivered everything they promised. They cleaned and restored our belongings, and Lawrence made several trips to our temporary home to bring the things that we needed. We lost some of our pictures but Dave saved all that he could. He cleaned the pictures individually and pried the ones apart that were stuck together. honestly, that would have been so overwhelming for me to try to do. I was so impressed. These guys are very honest, they brought us every last Penny found in the house. There were certain things that we were sensitive about, such as my 3 yr old grandson's belongings. Ray worked with our insurance company to make sure those things were replaced. Our family is beyond grateful for American Fire Recovery.

From May through August 2025, Golden Coast handled a complete restoration of the home--everything from floor to ceiling. The entire house had to be stripped down to the 2x4s, and they rebuilt everything with care and quality: new insulation, sheetrock, texture, baseboards, paint, cabinets, sinks, water heaters, and flooring. Every step of the way, their team was professional, responsive, and respectful of the situation we were dealing with. A special thank you to George, our project manager.
