We had our bathroom remodeled by Advanced Restorations Plus Inc. over a year ago and recently one of the drawer glides broke. At first, I thought it may have been from the original installation, but Pete came out and explained that the drawer had simply become too heavy and caused the glide to fail. Even though the bathroom was out of warranty, Pete still took the time to help us. He didn't have the part at the time, so I bought it thinking we could fix it ourselves -- we quickly realized we could not! I called Pete again, and he came right by and fixed it for us. When I tried to pay him, he refused. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. It really says a lot about a company that still takes the time to help their customers long after the job is done. I'm sharing my personal experience with Advanced Restoration so others know what to expect. They were hired by my insurance company to handle the demolition and mitigation for water damage in my home. During their work, additional issues arose in areas they handled, and in my experience the amount they initially offered to contribute toward repairs did not come close to covering the actual cost. This led to a lengthy back-and-forth over several months, and in the end my insurance company--not Advanced Restoration--covered the repair expenses related to those issues. I also had several concerns about professionalism while the crew was in my home. Despite multiple requests, some workers did not consistently wear shoe covers. I also heard profanity used inside my home, which made me uncomfortable. On one occasion, I observed two workers smoking in my driveway. These were not behaviors I expected from a company working in a residential environment. Overall, based on my own experience, I personally would not use this company again. I hope they take steps to improve communication, professionalism, and care for clients' homes in the future. read more

These folks are great! I recently sustained water damage to my home as a result of the rain storms. My insurance company adjuster recommended and assigned Advanced Restoration in Orangevale. I received a call from them before the adjuster left my home and they had someone out to access the damage on my property the next day. Over several weeks they had a roofer and other workers inspect my roof, place commercial dehumidifiers and industrial fans for drying, tarp a portion of the house and remove the damaged ceiling. All throughout, Carrie at Advanced was on top of my case and keep me in constant contact with updates, etc. When the insurance company was slow to move she was making calls and getting things moving. Advanced came to clean my area rugs and they were fantastic. They wore shoe covers and layed down floor protection. The even protected the corners of the walls in case the hose rubbed. Jon was great at getting this scheduled last minute. Carrie in the office is the sweetest and very efficient. I have worked with them on other floods and fires and the service is always outstanding. BEWARE! They were sloppy and irresponsible, they cracked my car windshield while working, and then denied that it came from them, even when I had pictures to show them, at first they told me that they works take care of it, then called back and said since I had no video footage they were not going to cover anything and call my own insurance! I asked that the manager call me and he didn't even have the decency to do that. Do not recommend. NOT the type of people you want to do business with at all. Absolutely Fantastic! January's storms crushed the roof of our garage and it needed to have structural repairs and new roofing. Also a bit of mitigation [hazmat] for moisture and leached chemicals. Advanced Restoration handled the job efficiently, economically, and perfectly. They also helped with packout of most of the contents to facilitate the work, rental of a storage pod, and returning contents when the job was done. Paid care and attention to the safety and security of our personal property. Special kudos to Dave Davi, who was general contractor for the project, handled most of the necessary interfacing with the insurance company, and assigned crackerjack staff and subcontractors to do the work. I called and received an appointment to get my couch cleaned. The guy came, nice guy, he cleaned the couch. Keep in mind there are no stains on our couch, we just needed to freshen it up. So I expected them to use a deodorizer as they "cleaned" it. The couch was wet when he was done, once it dried, it smelt exactly the way it did before he cleaned it. I write an email explaining this, the gal called me and asked what they could do to make me happy. I told her to have it cleaned again. She said ok that she would call me back that day or the next.. weeks later and I still haven't heard back from her. Just not good costumer service considering it cost me $180. I wouldn't recommend them to clean your furniture. read more

I have a cat, a dog that has accidents, and a baby. Needless to say my carpets and rugs are thrashed between the spills and the accidents. I heard good things about AAdvanced so despite dreading spending money, I called and scheduled to have my carpets cleaned. I spoke with Carrie who was very friendly and got things scheduled right away (despite my daughter randomly baby babbling in the background at the top of her lungs lol). I was also impressed because what I thought was going to cost an arm and a leg (like I said my carpets are in poor shape) was actually affordable. Bren was the one sent out and he did a fantastic job, also the cat is indoor only, he paid special attention to the notes Carrie had left and put the cat in the bathroom so she wouldn't sneak away. When I got home a few hours later, the carpet looked brand new and maintained its perfect appearance for months until my little creatures made their messes again lol. I also recommended them to my sister when she sold her house, they made sure the carpet looked brand new in time for her to show the house and even deodorized it so it had a fresh smell.
