I booked an appointment for Botox on July 30th. The nurse at the time apologized and said she hit a blood vein. I have had small round bruises from Botox before so didn't really think twice about it until I woke up with a black eye. I had to cancel meetings with clients and prospects and my boss. Management refused a refund or a credit and did not even bother to apologize for inconvenience. I will never EVER use one of their med spas again and would not recommend that you do either. Their nurses are obviously not trained or have the right credentials to do Botox. read more

Had the worst experience here. Went in to get my lip filler and had an appointment with an injector nurse. The nurse recommended I dissolve my lips due to prior filler, so I did, (paid for that ) then I went back to get my filler 2 weeks later. She then did my filler , I waited a few months and did not like the way my lips looked so I went back to see what they can do. The nurse I had my appointment with recommended I do dissolver again since the filler wasn't done correctly. I did the dissolver again, they paid for it this time since it's their fault. I called the manager to speak with her about this and she never returned my call. I had to call her again after a week with no response. Now I'm trying to go back to get another filler appointment since now my filler has been dissolved a second time and my lips don't look the way I want them to. I spoke with the manager there , which is super unprofessional. Doesn't know how to deal with customer complaints. She basically said it's my fault and that the first nurse I went to recommended more dissolver which is not the case. She stated I declined her recommendation and did my filler which is also not true. I will never go back to people that can't take full responsibility. Unacceptable. I have used the spa several times with no negative experiences. However my last experience can only be described as disastrous! Ive left a detailed message for the spa and still have not received a call back. When it's good it's very good! I'm just so disappointed in the lack of follow through when there is an issue. Edit Dash received a call from allure shortly after the review is posted. The young woman discussed at length with me my concerns. They were unable to get me scheduled for a follow up for over a week. When I asked for my records to indicate what had been done. She insisted I would have to come to the office to release those that information. She assured me there was no way to complete anything via telephone to receive my records. When I pointed out that she had already been in an in-depth discussion about my medical history over the phone, with no ID requested or verified,She simply hung up on me. read more

I have the best experience, it's unbeatable also the price for their filler right now is affordable. Nina was so helpful and informative. It was my first time getting my filler done for my lips and I was scared and let me tell you this I hate needles but Nina helped me so much. I was getting nauseous because I didn't eat lunch and I was nervous and plus the pain altogether. I've been going to Allure Medspa for about two years now. I get Botox and lip filler. I absolutely love Allure. The only thing I want to mention is once I went for lips with Corina and she was very awkward and basically forced me to follow her Instagram. She then complained the entire time about women who use filters on Instagram.. The. she injected my upper lip incorrectly it made a filler mustache and every time after that other injectors recommended I have it corrected. I don't feel that they deserve less than 5 stars because I do still go there and think the other injectors are fabulous! Just make sure you are comfortable with who your appointment is with. read more

I'm not really one for facials but my daughter gave me a Groupon for a Rejuvenating Facial, so I booked an appointment at this location because it was closest to me. Well, it turned out to be an extremely relaxing experience and now I think I see why people get facials! I had Amanda and she did a fabulous job with my facial! She was so nice, professional, and never seemed to be rushed. She was thorough in assessing my skin breakouts, as well as answering questions and giving recommendations on how to improve my skin care. She extracted multiple whiteheads on my chin and blackheads on my nose, and even did a scalp massage. I felt she went the extra mile. My face looked great and felt great. Everyone was really nice and they have good prices, but this is the worst Botox I have ever gotten. One area completely frozen, the other not affected at all. One eyelid so droopy it is affecting my vision and on the other side the brow is so lifted I look like Dr. Spock. Ugh! I won't be back, even to try to have it fixed. read more

Had Botox done several times; worst experience by far. Last place I went I spent less, had less units and looked better immediately. Here, on Special, the package was much more units than I normally get and you had to use them all. Normally the injector consults how many units where but here she just took it upon herself and I definitely have buyers remorse. This was a horrible experience, which was disappointing for me, as I am searching for that spa that will be where I go to from now on. One of the members of the front staff was extremely rude both on the phone and in person after my appointment (Mikalah). The technician spent our time talking to herself in the mirror before, during and after asking what I was looking for (Savannah). She stated pictures as well as my description wouldn't work because she can't make my lips look like someone else's nor create a keyhole for me. When she was finished, I could see the deficit on my top lip. When I let her know, she became upset but agreed to add a little more to that side but please know that this didn't come without a 30 minute rant and she was talking to herself in the mirror. By this point I was also becoming upset. We'd now spent 75% of the 2 hours listening to her vs. getting filler. I calmly and politely asked if she could resume with adding the product. She angrily she stated, "No I think we're done". I couldn't believe it I mean I was stunned. Then I asked to speak with a manager. Another 15 minutes went by before she came in and stated that I could come back and pay to correct the area (Suzie). Wow. To top it off, as I came out of the room the staff, including Mikalah and Savannah, were whispering and giggling. This is all around less than poor business practice and abhorrent customer service. THE WORST PLACE EVER, do not go! My fiancé and I went there for a little facial refresh with some dysport and filler for the mouth lines and our horrible technician refused to do it, saying he needed thousands of dollars worth of work and it would be "underwhelming". She was trying to UPSELL us REALLY HARD! When I said we're on a budget and please just do two syringes of filler since that's all we can afford right now and it will be enough, she took off her gloves and flat out REFUSED to do what we came in for. Never in my life have I ever experienced the RUDENESS of this woman at any other so-called MedSpa. They have all been very helpful to me. Maybe they are to focused on growing in every city that they could care less for their loyal clientele. I've been going to Allure Med Spa for years (although the Scottsdale location) and it works for me -- fast, decent price, and the RNs always do a good job. Dysport is my normal thing but I'll sometimes do fillers, too. Every once in a blue moon, I let the Groupon prices hypnotize me to some place new and unfortunately, I had a bad experience. Most bad experiences can easily be forgotten once they are over, but when you are dealing with your face, you are stuck with the consequences. I trekked from my house in South Scottsdale to the Allure Med Spa in Mesa because having worked with Debbie before, I knew that she was my best chance at reversing what had been done. Perhaps this review is mostly a review about Debbie, since she is the only RN I have used at the Mesa location, but she is phenomenal and was able to fix my face in a single visit. And this was not a simple fix -- it required creative thinking, insane precision (right under my eyes with a super-long needle) and definitely artistic skill and good judgement. Having learned the lesson of what can happen when the wrong person messes with you, I wanted to give a shout out to Debbie and recommend her to anyone looking to inject stuff into their precious face. read more

I bought a Groupon because my last injector retired and I wanted to feel out the office environment and injector before I decided to actually spend money. Let me just say, the front office staff is top notch. My injector, not so friendly. Little to no conversation but I chalked it up to her perhaps just being focused on the task at hand which I can respect. She was quick and did ask me several times if I was ok during the visit which I appreciate because a lot of people are nervous when it comes to needles. I can say 5 stars on that aspect. I previously have had 20 units of Botox with my last injector and the results lasted almost a year. I'm fairly confident they dilute Botox to keep you coming back.
