Alaska eBike was a great experience staff was friendly, answered all my hundred and one questions gave me several different bike option manual and electric ( side wink ) I went with the electric bike for easy cruising through Alaska beautiful bike trails. Due to COVID-19 You have to make a reservation in which I found very convenient gave them a time and date, I wanted rent my bike and they handled the rest. Can't wait to visit again

Best place in town to get your E-bike serviced by far. The staff are amazing, very knowledgeable, and pay attention to detail when servicing bikes. The cost for their bike repairs, and services is better than fair, and is always a pleasant surprise. Their inventory is fantastic they have plenty of bikes, and accessories to choose from. Defiantly worth a visit whether you are new to E-bikes or have had a E-bike for years these guys will keep you moving, and on time. read more

Excellent customer service! So I went there on a Monday not realizing they would be closed, my bad I should have looked it up before I came in. Anyway I lucked out and Bo happened to be there. This dude is great! He let me in and answered any questions I had. After trying a couple bikes out and telling him what I was looking for, he was able to line me out with two Fantic Fat Tire bikes. I feel like if I had any issues these guys would be able to help me with no problems. I totally recommend shop for all your bike needs. read more

Alaska e Bike is located at 2229 Spenard Rd. just above Chester Creek Greenbelt Trail at Westchester Lagoon in Anchorage . The Alaska E Bike store provides direct customer service , sales and support of electric bikes . Cary , the owner, is capable and competent , caring , patient and most important of all PASSIONATE about electric bikes . He has a wonderful assortment of makes and models of bikes and he will gladly let you test drive each one ! Right now he is open 12-6:00PM On Friday , Saturday and Sunday and will meet you at the store the rest of the week if you call and set up a time . E bikes are so much fun and most people actually get a lot more exercise with an e bike because they ride more often and cover a lot more distance . Check this place out !! read more

Had a great tour today led by Tara and Isaac. Bikes are higher end mid drive with TOD so very serviceable (my wife and I own e bikes). The weather cooperated today so had a great trip on the trail. Saw several moose along the ride. A great way to spend our last day in AK. read more

Excellent customer service! These folks are great! We went here to get more info on ebikes and maybe buy a couple. They went through all the info on the different bikes and let us test drive some. We ended up buying two. After using them several times we love them. They ride so nice and you can set the level of pedal difficulty as hard or east as you want. I ended up crashing mine, nothing serious, twisted the handle bars a little and called them up. Told me to bring it right in and they fix it right up at no charge. Great service and really nice folks! I strongly recommend checking them out if you're thinking about an e-bike. read more

Awesome shop, great guys running it! Rented one of their full suspension e mountain bikes and had a blast. Absolutely made my trip. Had a small issue with the bike chain but Cary rode all the way to me and fixed it in 2 minutes! Thanks dudes! read more

Awesome fat bike demo! Cruised two bikes along the coastal trail for an hour. Smooth sailing on the hard packed trail. Cary gave us a quick demo on how to adjust the e-assist and off we went. ID is required to secure the bike. He has bike locks and helmets available to use as well. Would definitely consider renting from him again. Great friendly service! read more

We rented ebikes and took a day trip out to Kincaid park. Cary was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He was very responsive to my dozens of email questions leading up to our trip. The rental and return process was quick and easy and the bikes were in excellent condition. Before heading out, they helped us get everything set up (seat height, etc.), showed us how to operate the bikes and provided directions for how to get to the Coastal trail heading in the direction that we needed. It was a smooth process and made for a great day. read more

I brought my bike here for a bent rim and they had it fixed within 4 days during the busy summertime. They charged $50. Their road bike inventory is super limited compared to their mountain bike inventory, but they can order anything online and have it shipped to their store for assembly. The prices are reasonable and their staff is always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

So, over $1,000 later, I have a nearly WalMart grade bike that gets a flat almost every time I use it! Worst ever experience buying!

I probably spend more time at this park year round than any other park in Anchorage proper. It is…read moreconveniently connected to multiple trails and easy to access on foot from most of West Anch, Spenard, Northstar/Valley of the Moon, Midtown, and Downtown. If you've got a bike, you can connect from even further out very easily. As such, the Lagoon looks a lot like a Gilmore Girls community and is popular with people year round. There are frequently small sponsored events going on- the coolest of which involves ice skating in the winter. I personally love this park because it's a great place to bird watch. It's a fragile breeding ground for aquatic birds (take note dog owners - IT IS NOT OK TO LET YOUR DOGS OFF LEASH HERE OR LET THEM SWIM!) Red Neck Grebes are one if the more unusual arctic birds that breed here. The arctic terns also put on quite a show. Various loons and cranes also make an appearance, as well as some unique ducks. There's also an awesome playground and snack bar for the kiddies. A few years ago they also installed a bike counter that tracks the thousands that use the Tony Knowles at various intervals - it's fun to watch the numbers climb as the season goes on. There's also a free bike maintenance station here. Definitely a great location for lots and tourists alike, but parking is a problem, so carpool or better yet, use the trails!

This is a park which also goes by the name also known as Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park, is home to a…read moreman-made water fowl sanctuary, a lake, a disc golf course and a playground. They have private parking lots for you to park free of charge. It is located near downtown and is a welcomed break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It conveniently lies at the intersection of two of Anchorage's most popular trails, the Tony Knowles and Chester Creek trails. There were many runners traveling through while I was there, going through the two little tunnels that run under the road. You will find benches and picnic tables here to sit around the lake. This is home to lots, I mean lots, lots of waterfowl. They seemed aggressive, so I kept my distance. The disc golf course was nice but was covered in snow and mud. The lake is nice and during the winter is converted to an ice hockey/skating rink. My only complaint is that the park could be a little cleaner, even though part is that could be due to me visiting off-season. There were some maintenance guys there do some other stuff. The park is touted as a great place to bird watch in the spring and you can see other animals such as moose, beaver in the early morning or late evening, muskrats, foxes, otters, and minks, year-round, but it is rare. I did not see any of them. This nature park has a calming kind of peace to it, even though you hear the hum of cars on the nearby road. Just sitting on the bench looking out to the lake was so very soothing. If your schedule permits, I highly recommend visiting this place to just relax and recharge.

Got great photos of the Suicides, waded in the lake, and wallowed on the grass. One regret is that I didn't get a pano shot. I'm like queen of the panos, what the heck? There were a few people tenting it, making it a perfect amateur backpacking adventure. Will come again and may pack a picnic.

He hiked us up to hidden lake, and then gave us the option to climb to the summit of The Ramp for the most breathtaking view. As a novice hiker, it was certainly a challenge, but the views at the top were spectacular. All in all, 13 miles round trip. Hiking poles, snacks and water were provided. Those poles saved my knees on the way back! I highly recommend this company. I felt I received great value.
