Alaska Tacos: 1 halibut and 1 salmon blackened hard taco with a side of fries $25.91 after tax

We stopped by for a late lunch at around 2:30pm. There was a long line but it was moving at a decent pace. It also helped that they have the menu posted by the door so you can take a look at it and decide what you would like to order while you wait in line. They live up to their name and offer fish & chips (cod, salmon, halibut), burgers (halibut or salmon), fish tacos (halibut or salmon), fish & rice bowls (halibut or salmon), smoked salmon chowder, salad, and Dungeness crab. Once you place your order, you will get a number and can sit inside or outside. Your food will be brought to you. I sat outside since we had great weather and had an amazing view looking out to the water and boats. I ordered the Alaska Tacos: 1 halibut and 1 salmon blackened hard taco with a side of fries $25.91 after tax. It all had an amazing taste and I really enjoyed my lunch.

This place is delicious but prepare to wait. There was a 30 minute line when we went but it was worth the wait. Once we got in there were some basic quinoa bowls that you could get. That was nice as I eat mostly plant based. However this is a fish shop so they have halibut and salmon options. We got the salmon and halibut fish tacos and fries. I really enjoyed the salmon. The fries were really good too with with a slight vinegar taste. They also have a small bar with some drink options separately in the seating area. The staff was kind and attentive. It's amazing how fast they bring customers in. This place is well run and I would bring anyone who wants some good fish.

Located on the water. Lots of indoor seating and. Small deck outside. Order your food and then get a number and a seat. We only went in for drinks. Got a beer cocktail and a cocktail. Both absolutely delicious. Sat on deck. Very friendly staff!!! Great vibes. Awesome drinks. Stop here for drinks!!!

Waited about 45mins to order & receive my food. I got a cod fish and chips and it was delicious! I especially like the tartare sauce and how it's not too chunky. There is inside & outside seating. It's recommended to order first before claiming a seat, however no one follows this rule, so that's something to be aware of. Staff were very kind and helpful!

We arrived around 10:30 am for lunch (lol) so, of course, there wasn't a line or crowd of people. They're located next to the lumberjack experience. The place is bigger than it looks as there are two dining areas. You order and pay at the counter. We went overboard and ordered three entrees of fish and chips because that's what they feature. Deep-fried Salmon, DF Cod, and DF Halibut. Plus, we tried their Smoked Salmon chowder. Cod was the best, Salmon was weird, and Halibut was good. The fries and chowder were also decent. Overall, we had a fine meal but nothing really stood out as outstanding.

Stopped in for lunch after reading really positive reviews about their clam chowder and it was great. We ordered right away and then had to wait a bit to find seating, but we eventually did. The ambiance is great, overlooking the water. Our food was ready relatively quickly and the soup totally hit the spot - delicious. Really glad we came here.

10/10 highly recommend, this place is so yummy! I only tried the tacos so I can't speak for the other menu items but man, oh man! The tacos and fries were fantastic. When you walk up, they have a counter where you can order to go out to dine in and then I believe it is open seating. They also have a bar where you can order drinks but no seating at the bar. There is seating inside and outside, the staff is super friendly and helpful, would definitely come to this place again the next time we're in Ketchikan. They are located by the fire station that has a mini museum and vending machine for t-shirts.

We were told this is the only place locals will eat seafood, and I can see why. This place was very busy. Such a long line but it moved quickly. You seat yourself and they are busy so plan on joining some strangers and making new friends! We ordered the sampler fish and chips so we could try all of the options. All of it was delicious, but my favorite was the halibut.

Ordered the 3-pc Alaska sampler variety with fries & coleslaw (cod, halibut & salmon). Hubby & I enjoyed our meal. My personal favorite is the halibut... it's crunchy, nice meaty texture dipped in tartar sauce. Hubby liked the cod and tangy coleslaw. Conveniently located near the lumberjack show and walking distance from Berth 4 of our cruise ship.

Cool little fish house right at the edge of downtown. Long line but goes fast. Seating inside and outside. No beer or alcohol beverages allowed outside unless you go to the small back patio. Back patio is cool because it's on the water. I chose the local silver salmon fish and chips. Was going to do the tacos but they have premade hard taco shell. No go do a Southern California taco lover. The fried salmon was the best I had. Highly recommend. Fries has a really good seasoning

This was my favorite meal from every cruise port we went. Pricing was excellent. The fish tacos were amazing. The seasoning on the fries was delicious. 3 kinds of fish and chips! Even busy, we got a table. It's right on the water with great views.

Absolutely phenomenal fish tacos!! Absolutely must try!!! We got the Alaskan Tacos which gave us one salmon and one halibut taco both blackened! Great service as well.

The wait was egregious. The fish was crispy and has a panko crust which different from the batter you expect from a fish and chips but that is about all that is noteworthy. The food was hot and fresh but a bit pricey, not worth the wait but if you have time to kill why not?

The Halibut fish &chips was the best I've ever had. Flakey, white and moist, it couldn't have been better. The fry's were also outstanding!

Are there gluten free and dairy free options?

Hi all ! This restaurant looks amazing - location, interior, views and THE FOOD yum ! May I ask how close it is to the cruise port ? Many thanks and cheers !

It depends on which cruise you take. It's close to the Crown Princess and the Quantum of the Seven Seas. For the Jewel, it's about a 20 minute shuttle bus drive to downtown.

We had a group of 8; sat fairly quickly for being a packed house. Menu was decent in choices; prices were super high in my opinion for what you got especially with being so close to the water. But I get it tourists... charge more. The crab was delicious and prepared well. But the other items we got were just meh. The clam chowder wasn't anything special and the fish tacos were strange in flavor combos. They didn't mesh; but the fish was cooked nicely. Our waitress was an adorable Asian girl that was really kind and on her A game handling all the tables. Our table was by a kiosk where the waiters come to put in orders and there was a Caucasian guy that worked there that was griping to his coworkers about cruise customers. Basically said I hate when the ships come in and we get all these customers. He just wasn't kind nor seemed like he wanted to be there. So being able to hear that was just off putting.

He gave great service and great recommendations for the amount of crab legs. We would need for the size of our party. It is pricey, but it's about the same anywhere you go. The food was tasty. The sides were delicious, that you gave us plenty of napkins and butter to go around. I would strongly recommend this place for crab legs. I don't think I would try the salmon or any of the other stuff on their menu, because that is not what they specialize in and you may be disappointed. Next time I am in this town I will definitely come back.
