I'm a huge fan of Alaska Airlines and I even used to be a lounge member. I had yet to visit this lounge and have wanted to for awhile now. In PDX I used my Alaskan Air credit card and bought a day pass to their lounges for $25. I figured being able to use two of the lounges made it a good deal. It actually wasn't a good deal because stupid COVID messed up my ability to do one of my favorite things... that's right... COVID protocol hindered me from getting wasted at the airport. Sadness! I had just been to the Centurion lounge where they stated that I had to take the food to go. So I was not expecting much. When I walked in I was greeted warmly and chit chatted about the protocols. They were also not serving booze, however they did allow the consumption of food and beverages inside. I took the elevator up and was happy to see a good sized lounge with a nice view. Tables and chairs were placed appropriately. I felt safe sitting around. On offer for food was some sort of creamy chicken soup and a chicken salad. I was surprised that they didn't have a vegetarian option, and if they did I couldn't find it. I think it was nice that at least they had a warm food offering. They did have cheese and crackers as well as veggies with ranch dip. So vegetarians weren't going to be totally out of luck. While I didn't get what I would call a full lounge experience, I did appreciate being able to sit in a spacious room with high ceilings and relax. I'd definitely like to check it out when things get back to normal. read more

They have renovated this lounge! Hurray! The tables and chairs are changed out and everything looks so much nicer and brighter. They added a relaxing waterfall to separate the bar area from the dining/food area which is lovely and makes it much more comfortable. Kudos Alaska! The Alaska lounge at Sea-Tac are a great respite before your flights. There is always ample seating and a variety of snack and small plate type foods to eat before your flight. They also have a great bar options for drinks or to upgrade your drinks if you prefer higher shelf alcohol. There is a variety of seating available for families, working, or socializing at the bar with other travelers. The staff has always been friendly and quick to serve. I have been able to experience all three of the Alaska lounged and fully support that if you have the ability purchase the annual membership. This Alaska lounge in Concourse C is so much smaller and older than the one in Concourse N. Note that most of the inside pictures posted for the C lounge are actually from the N lounge. Since the food and the drink available are the same in any Alaska lounges, i would just go to the N lounge. Pro Tip: When the longes are busy, they may turn away day pass passengers. So, unless you have an Alaska first class ticket, your access is not guaranteed. Just a heads up. read more

I haven't visited this particular lounge since 2019. During that time the N gates lounge was under construction and so a whole bunch of people used this one as an alternative. Fast forward to 2022 and it's still crowded even without construction. Upon check-in a guy ahead of me didn't know they stopped selling day passes. He was super bummed out. I felt bad for the guy. Must have been a while since he last visited. Anyway, I got through check in, picked out my snacks at the buffet (the Starbucks machine was out of commission, no surprise), then went hunting for a seat. I was lucky I found a grey wingback chair sandwiched between 2 other people. I can't wait for the expansion because this lounge is too small for the amount of people accessing this amenity. I do enjoy the North Satellite lounge (it's my favorite of the 3) but if my gate is at C or D and I'm running short on time I'll use these lounges as default. read more

This is the little secret Alaska Lounge that is hard to find, but what a great location with excellent views! Shoved in the corner, past the restrooms at the end of C Concourse, there's a small door and sign that says "Alaska Lounge". Inside the door, you go up the stairs (I'm sure there's an elevator somewhere, I just didn't look for it), round a couple of corners, and there you are! It's long and narrow until you get to the end where you'll find the bar. It's an L-shaped configuration so the entrance is deciving. This has all the other amenities of the other lounges but wasn't nearly as busy, I would say you have a little more privacy in this lounge as the chairs surround you a little more. Like the main lounge though, this one has been well used and probably use some updated furniture. The important note about this lounge is it closes earlier than others, 2pm the day I was there. That was perfect as my flight was scheduled to leave at 2:35pm (but was then delayed for 45 minutes, grrr.....). The staff, as always, was super polite and helpful. Overall though, I think this was my favorite of the 3 lounges. read more

Nice to be able to spend my 4.5 hour layover in this lounge for gold star and 1st class passengers. Nice lay out of food. It was a Friday and the soup was clam chowder and it was delicious. This was all before the covid so the food was set out buffet style with fruit, granola bars, cookies, salad bar and lots of yummy things I just opted for soup it was rainy and cold and I was tired and wanted to get home to Montana. I recommend flying 1st class on this airline. read more

The Alaska Airlines Lounge is HUGE!! If you have a first class ticket, you can get in for free. If you're a Alaska Airlines credit card holder, the entree fee is half off at $25. Worth it!!! You could spend hours here enjoying drinks at the massive bar, eating snacks at the buffet, charging you electronics lounging in the most comfortable chairs... watching planes on the tarmac... chatting with staff about your travels... this is the place to be before your flight. I really appreciate the attention to detail at this lounge. You can't help but appreciate the interior design. I was leaving Seattle and got to the airport early. They don't have an admirals club but since it's part of the family I can get in. They were really nice at the desk and welcomed me in. There are two levels to this club and I would recommend going upstairs. I found that the seating and offerings are better up there. I would recommend this club when you are at SEATEC. read more

"C" terminal used to be a very comfortable lounge before Alaska "Upgraded" it. Now it looks and feels like a school cafeteria, with stiff uncomfortable chairs. You took out the TV as well! . Your "upgrades" are making it worse. Thanks to One World, the lounges are always crowded making Alaska subscribers hardly having any room! It's because of that you need more seating so you end up putting high density chairs in. read more

I arrived there on May 16, 2023, in the evening. In Seattle, I had my connection flight (I was flying first class from Detroit to Burbank via Seattle). The total distance of my one-way flights was 2863 miles. A clerk at the entrance to the lounge was very rude. She said that despite the fact that I was flying from Detroit to Burbank, I was not qualified for the free entrance to the lounge because neither of my two segments of the flight was greater than 2100 miles. When I presented her both of my tickets, her answer was that she didn't care. According to her, the total flight distance meant nothing. So I paid $30 to spend a few hours in the lounge (because it was already late in the evening and they close at midnight). That encounter with a rude clerk had spoiled my whole experience flying with Alaska Airlines. I'm not sure if I would ever fly with them again read more

I was flying out of Concourse C - my gate was C15, which is directly across from the Alaska Lounge, so definitely convenient. SeaTac has two other Alaska Airlines lounges at the D and N gates, but this review is for the one located near C14. The lounge provided a quiet and comfortable oasis from the hustle and bustle of a busy terminal during the Thanksgiving holiday travel season. Space was limited, but I was able to find a spot on one of their lime-green sofa chairs, which also have a private outlet for you to recharge your gear with. The food options were lacking - other than the pancake machine (which spits out two relatively tasty buttermilk pancakes) - the other offerings were cookies, a chicken-salad bar, two choices of soup, soda fountain and Starbucks coffee. There is the option to pay for "gourmet" prepared meals at $8 each. There was only one bathroom facility serving the lounge - and despite traveling on a Monday, there was on occasion, a line to utilize the restroom. The hand soap smelled nice though - wished I had snapped a picture of it so I could get some for home. I had complimentary access as part of my paid Alaska Airlines ticket, but you can also purchase a pass for $45, or purchase membership (discounts apply if you are part of their frequent flyer program). Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase a day pass to this facility, or pay for membership - I felt the "value" of what we had access to was pretty limiting, compared to other lounges from competing airlines. It's nice to have a more quiet place to work and wait in between flights, but at the same time, I would have liked better snacks/appetizers. read more

Deb & Jill checked us in for day passes via Alaska Air credit card ($25, not $50 each). They were friendly and efficient! The lounge is small and cozy, but we had a table for five by the window, and 2 USB & AC outlets. The soups were delicious (creamy vegetable & Tomato Florentine), as was the chicken for a spinach salad with tomatoes & cheese. We had all 3 cookies: oatmeal, chocolate chip and gingerbread. They were so good! The nut mixes were satisfying, as well as the crackers. We also enjoyed the coffee, tea, and soda choices, as well as wines & mixed drinks. Only one bathroom for men and women, but it was clean and well equipped. Next year might be even better with a newer, larger lounge near N gates. But for now, this is definitely the place to be for a 5 hour layover! read more

Today I noticed the new Alaska Lounge while waiting for my flight. I went over needing to use the restroom and brought my priority pass, ID, and boarding pass up on the slowest moving elevator I have ever been in (had I known I would have just carried my wheeled luggage up the flight of stairs to save time!) When I got to the reception area the receptionist let me know they were busy so were not accepting those with Priority Passes at the time - she reinforced this by saying there was a sign displaying this message downstairs (I did not see this sign on the way up or the way down). Having wasted several minutes just getting up to the lounge with a flight about to board, I let her know I wasn't planning on staying in the lounge but just needed to use the restroom. She reiterated that I still could not have any access to the facilities as that would be part of the lounge. Talk about bad customer service. I'm a frequent flyer and have never been a fan of the old dusty outdated Alaska Lounges in any of the airports I've been to. Despite the fancy new look of this one I have no desire to come back. When I return from my trip I'll be sure to skip this lounge even if it is available to Priority Pass holders and go straight to The Centurion Lounge where I will be treated like a human, not like a stray animal. read more

We tend to frequent the Alaska Lounges more than any others at Sea-Tac and they're just ok. Sometimes it's extremely hard to score seats and capacity always seems to be an issue. We've also had some cleanliness issues in the form of sticky tabletops and chairs that weren't cleaned. The full bar service is always good, but the food variety definitely lacks. Without the pancake making machine during breakfast, I'd drop this down to 2 stars. Overall, the lounges are decent enough to spend a few hours. At the very least, you'll get good wifi and Starbucks espresso. read more

I hate Alaska lounges. The C concourse lounge is not old but already shows signs of wear and tear. Tatty furniture, skimpy drink servings and food offerings I wouldn't give to my dog, and all for $30. That's right, a first class domestic ticket for any trip under 2100 miles and you have to pay to enter the lounge. No longer complimentary! Time to make my travel plans with Delta! read more

I have bern with Alaska from the begining with prop planes over 30 years When they only flee west coast. They were humble and small li use to get gifts as a gold they were like family. Yes the have grown ALOT.....now flying coast to coast bought Virgin. They have taken over north terminal from United (thank god) It so cool when I walk into of the new lounges and see the employees I knew from 25 years ago. I used to love visiting the Alaska Lounge on the rare occasions that I was flying first class. Little did I know that with my Alaska Airlines Visa I can purchase a day pass for $25.... so worth it. Traffic from my house is so unpredictable, so now I have a routine - leave early and if I happen to breeze through traffic, go relax at the lounge - so worth the $25. There are so many chairs to relax, and compared to the loud busy airport, this feels so laid back. The drinks are good - I always go for a bloody mary, and depending on the time of day, the lounge allows for a relaxing breakfast, lunch, or snack. And from this lounge the views of the planes are great too! read more

I love this lounge! The clam chowder was excellent... well, small clams but not that much potatoes. Fresh. Cheap clam chowder have lots of potatoes and small clams. Kids love the pancake maker. We came in at dinner time and kiddos ate 4 pancakes each. The pancake maker is a see through glass box, you press a button and it drops 2 spoonfuls of dough onto the conveyor belt and you see it passes through the oven and after it's done, the pancakes drop onto the plate. Trails mix, carrots, cheese cubes and celery sticks are other things you can snack on. You just don't see too many kids at these lounges and my kids have seen many airport lounges. When they like a lounge, it says a lot about the lounge's quality. read more

Let me start with the fact that the new lounge is very clean and spacious. The craziest thing I just experienced is that they only offered soup and salad for lunch, no sandwiches or meals to purchase. So went downstairs and bought a sandwich only for the front desk staff (which took forever to check us in) to tell me I can't bring in outside food. When I asked them why don't they sell food from the menu, she said normally we do but we didn't order enough, therefore we don't have any. So I had to stand outside of the lounge and eat my purchased sandwich. Considering I am MVP Gold member and the amount of money we spend with the airline and the lounges/memberships, I find this an absurd rule. read more

I'm really upset about the treatment my wife and I received yesterday in both Concourse C and N lounges. We're Admiral's club members and we also have an Alaska Airlines visa. We missed our flight to Ft. Lauderdale from LAX at 8am. We were 2 minutes late and they would not allow us to go. Because there is only 1 flight a day from LA, we had to go to Seattle and then take the red eye to FLL. Thus, we spent 10+ hrs using both lounges, although the majority was spent in C lounge. We were beyond exhausted. We pulled out our pillow and blanket and tried to get a little sleep. Nope, not allowed. We were told we can't put our feet on the furniture. The furniture was already dirty, but whatevs. We were barefoot. The employee said we could use our suitcase to rest our feet. We did that and managed to get some rest. Then, when we moved to N lounge because our flight was leaving at 9:25pm, we were told we can't sleep at all. I'm flabbergasted. The rules change from lounge to lounge. Btw, do you know what the word " Lounge" actually means? I can't even comment on the food/etc because I was so overly tired and upset at being treated like a common criminal. read more
