We decided we wanted to do a glacier and sightseeing tour, but all of the companies that showed up in our initial Google search were already booked. After a little more searching, we came across this company, and after reading the reviews, we decided to give them a try. The reviews were spot on. The whole experience was amazing. The glacier was absolutely beautiful, and seeing both humpback whales and orcas on the same trip was something we'll never forget. Leif shared great stories along the way, and both he and Emily were incredibly knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and local history. They were also just genuinely friendly and made the entire trip fun and relaxed. This ended up being one of the highlights of our Alaska trip. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable experience. 10/10!

Bill/Stan do a great job of exploring the fjord. Saw mountain goats, holgate glacier, sea otters, humpback whale, sea lions, Orcas. Great scenery. Nice Narratives. informative, but not non-stop babbling which we experiences on other excursions. It can be cool, so dress appropriately. They suggest a waterproof jacket and pants. Helpful to stop the wind, and in case it rains. There was no splash from the waters. The rain pants are not a necessity, however a waterproof/water resistant jacket is (unless the forecast shows no rain), but I doubt it. Overall very enjoyable, worth every penny. You won't be bored over the 9 hour span. Our cruise had 5 passengers so it was nice to talk with Bill/Stan and the other passengers. Highly recommended whether you are a cruiser, or just doing a land trip.

Unexpectedly, we ended up being the only guests as others had backed out. We started out of Seward with a nice trip from Anchorage with Joan and Jeff as our shuttle team. They were both very personable and a pleasure to make the trip with to Seward. We were greeted with champagne and quickly got underway. Our accommodations were exactly as described in the Master suite. After two days of being wined and dined, we finally had to say, the "food is amazing, but we don't eat this much in a day. We need to slow down on the amount" LOL Certainly all you could possibly eat and nicely prepared. En En set beautiful tables for every meal and and our wine glasses were never dry. The weather was not the best for the first few days, so with everyone's agreement, we decided to roll the dice and cross the Gulf of Alaska to head towards Whittier. At that point, the weather became amazing, we did kayaking and had a 13,000 year old cocktail (Bourbon on Glacier ice). Who knew we would go to Alaska to get a tan? We spent the entire time cruising out on the deck getting sun. Captain Al and his team were wonderful hosts. I guess I could address every complaint that has been posted, but I'm not going to give it much credibility by spending any time on it. Yes, the boat is not brand new, but we had no issues on board (except the battery, but that's a little joke between Captain Al and us.). I can't speak to any of the other accommodations because we did not see or use them, but there were absolutely no complaints with ours. We are already considering the possibility of taking friends and going again some time. Thanks for everything Captain Al, En En and Christian! It was the trip of a lifetime! I enjoy learning by trial and error. Argh! I have never hooked and lost so many fish. Then John put me on the fish and taught me how to land them. He actually guided me right to the fish. "Take one small step towards me" "Let out one foot of line" BOOM! Fish on! Not once or twice but three times! As mentioned this was PRICELESS! My wife and I both love Halibut and were looking to try some fresh caught, while our cruise ship was docked in Seward. We strolled up town a couple of blocks from the Alaskan Sea-life Center and saw that Gold Rush Bistro had some on their lunch menu and decided to stop in. Surprisingly there was no wait at 12:30 (lunch time) their smiling staff were happy to see us. We were greeted, seated and able to order very quickly. That being said, the place started to fill up pretty fast. As we waited, the lady that was sitting next to us when we sat down, had a god awful amount of perfume on, after a few minutes of choking, we politely as to be moved to another table and were happily accommodated, no hassle at all. I've had Halibut many times in the past, but none have been as delicious as the Garlic Halibut that they serve here. One word, OUTSTANDING!!! The decor inside was beautiful, with a homey wood vibe (see pics). Looking out the front window there was an amazing view of some of the surrounding Mountains.
