My tour with guide Emily was absolutely incredible -- we checked off pretty much everything on the list! Bald eagles, puffins, orcas, humpbacks, sea otters, seals, sea lions, and glacier calving! I took the 7.5 hour tour and time absolutely flew by we were having so much fun. If 7.5 hours seems like a long time and you're hesitant -- just do it! It's so incredibly worth it! Emily was also so knowledgeable about the area, from the geology to the wildlife, and so helpful and patient when I got seasick (not her fault at all, I am just super prone to it) Overall truly amazing experience, incredibly worth the money and time

This was an amazing experience! Captain Abby was a very knowledgeable captain, answering almost every question we asked. She knew exactly where to go to show us the animals. We saw 3 schools of whales (humpback and orcas), puffins, sea lions, seals, otters and a giant pod of moon jellyfish. Not to mention we had lunch, which they provided, at the base of a glacier! There was lots of glacial activity and we got to watch ice chunks fall and listen to the crash as it hit the water.

Great trip with Captain Kyle. He was super knowledgeable and a great Captain. Would definitely recommend

A full 5 stars for Captain Abby and Northern Latitude Adventures! Any trip to coastal Alaska is not complete without getting on the water. The wild beauty of the Alaskan coast is mesmerizing. We spent a full day with captain Abby exploring the Kenai Fords and Resurrection Bay. We saw the mile-wide Aialik glacier with harbor seals napping on the ice, gray whales, Stellar sea lions sunning themselves on the rocks, bald eagles, puffins, too many sea otters to count, harbor porpoise, and three orca feeding along the shore. Two times an orca breached, coming completely out of the water! An amazing site. Captain Abby totally delivered. Can't say enough good things about this tour.

We don't even know where to start describing how amazing this experience was! My boyfriend and I went on a 7.5 hr 6-person charter through the Kenai Fjords with captain Abby and despite the fact that the weather was not ideal /rainy and hazy/, the tour was no less than mind blowing. We enjoyed incredible scenery of wild islands, dozens of waterfalls, majestic fjords, wild goats, saw sea otters, puffins, orcas, humpback whales, sea lions among other things:) We approached the Holgate Glacier, watched huge blue ice chunks crash into the ocean, as we were having lunch. I mean - it's indescribable. But we wanted to give special thanks to captain Abby, as she might not be able to take credit for the area's natural beauty, however she went above and beyond in making sure we all had the best experience possible. She really went chasing those whales with us the entire time. And I mean - we really chased those guys good :) She was very much in touch with every passenger's interests and preferences; she was sooo fast when she could be and taking it easy exactly at the right times; in addition so friendly and so full of valuable info and advice! Would give 10 stars if I could! And our overall advice would be - trust us, guys - it's so worth it doing a charter with a small group over trying to save a couple hundred bucks and snuggling with 50 or more other people like sardines. Here you got the real authentic Alaskan experience, tailored to make your soul happy. This is the life.

Awesome day on the water in Resurrection Bay and Aialik Bay with Captain Ryan on a Northern Latitude Adventures trip. We saw sea lions, harbor seals, jellies, puffins (my new favorites), salmon, waterfalls, icebergs ..... and glaciers!!! We lucked out with a break in the weather heading out. 6 foot seas on return but the captain handled the boat well in the swells. This area is stunning. The sound of calving glaciers is like thunder. Aialik Glacier comes down from the Harding Glacier and is 1 mile across- dwarfs the helicopter and plane that went by. The icebergs were delicate and exquisite. The color of the water was brilliant. I can't give our guide, Ryan, praise enough. Dropping knowledge bombs all day long. He also went the extra mile to try to spot goats and bears (sadly did not see those on this trip). What a day!!!! PS- The cabin area of the boat was clean and comfortable. The sandwiches were fresh that morning from a local cafe. Delicious. Highly recommend!!

Excellent day exploring the fjords! This is a great way to have an intimate experience seeking out wildlife and enjoying the local scenery! I knew I wanted a day on the water in Seward, but I wasn't excited about a giant boat with a bunch of other tourists. Our captain/guide, Clay, was knowledgeable, friendly, and definitely knew his way around the waters! The lunch they provide was from a local deli and hit the spot. They also have coffee, hot tea, and snacks. All of which we enjoyed because it was rainy and cold. The pictures really don't even do the views any justice! I included a picture of the sea lions, but we also saw Finn whales and a HUGE Orca.

Captain Ryan and Northern Latitude was amazing!! We had an absolutely amazing day. Ryan did his best to make sure we got to see everything there was to offer, including calling an audible and switching destinations because the planned glacier was crowded. He was very knowledgeable and did not hesitate to stop the boat to point out something interesting. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who asked!!!

Do not hesitate to book a tour with these folks! We went on the 6 hour Glacier and Wildlife tour. We saw everything! Orca, puffin, humpback breeching, bears, bald eagles and porpoise. The glacier even showed off and calved for us while we ate some turkey sandwiches. Snacks, water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, a sandwich, chips and a selection of sodas. Jamie was the perfect guide. As she made her way toward the glacier she would quickly slow and even go back if she saw wildlife. She shared history and nature knowledge. Besides Jamie there were four of us and we had a great time!

We wet out yesterday with Emily. She was very knowledgeable and was very excited to show us her Resurrection Bay. She put us on orca 3x. Some tiny babies in the pods. Then a pod of a mom, nurse maid, and a cute baby that was learning how to fin and tale slap. It was a great day. We definitely like the smaller boats than the bigger ones. We will definitely do this trip with Emily next time.

Wonderful wildlife tour, Captain Abby was great. She got us up close to the Orcas and pointed out sea lions, eagles and porpoises. It was great to go out with a small group of 4 instead of the big tour groups.

Wow...where do I even begin! Capt. Leif was awesome! He was full of knowledge and stories of Seward, AK. Our morning whale watch tour was a success! We got to see otters, bald eagles, mountain goat (mama and baby), puffins, porpoise, red faced coumarin, and most importantly....the humpback whale! It was breathtaking and unexplainable! You had to be there to believe it~ Book your tour with Northern Latitude!!!

Yes yes yes. This is a small outfit with excellence. Nick was a great captain and provided a great experience. We saw whales, porpoises, puffins, and eagles. Perfect small boat. I would prefer this over the mass people boats any day.

Orcas (and Finn Whales) aren't very common to see in the wild due to their natural behaviors/abilities.

Our captain, Mike, made sure we had every opportunity to see the sights and find the wildlife. He often turned the boat to make sure all the guests could see the wildlife. They served lunch which was burrito (choice of either southwestern chicken or vegetarian) and a few hours later a warm chocolate chip cookie. The staff also went around to show some animal collection, helped us locate the animals that were being pointed out by the captain, took our photos, answered questions, ensured our safety and even fished a chunk of ice near the glacier and let people touch and have photos with it. We saw many animals including whales, orcas, sea otters, sea lions, different birds including puffins, bald eagles, etc. We went close to glaciers. The captain was very knowledgeable. The 6-hour cruise was memorable! For the most part the waters were calm; there were certain areas that were rough. Even then, we were told that the water was calmest when we visited on that day in June. For some who have have motion sickness, bringing a medication can be helpful (though I think they also sell some on board) though we did not need any. Layering is still the key with an outer shell that is waterproof in case it rains. Though not necessary really, binoculars can enhance the experience. Would definitely recommend!
