A short long story about our experience with the amazing people at Albano Appliance. After 30 years in our house, we finally decided to update our kitchen--just as the pandemic shut everything down. So it was clear from the beginning that nothing about the reno was going to be easy. But the people at Albano helped make one of the most frustrating aspects of the experience into something incredible. We bought a package of high-end appliances from Albano, having been referred there by a friend whose large family has been buying from there exclusively for years. Long story short: One of those appliances -- a combination steam/convection double oven -- turned out to be a bust. In fact, it was replaced by the manufacturer twice. That's right: We had three of the same oven installed, and each one failed. But the Albano people were there every step of the way, helping to keep us sane by working with the manhfacturer and sending service people to the house to make sure the reinstalls were done properly. Ultimately, the manufacturer agreed to send us a better product, but there was a snag. A couple, actually. The new ovens needed special carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work. It was going to be seriously complicated job. Enter Albano. They arranged to receive and store the ovens, made multiple site visits, and brought in top tradespeople to ensure everything was finally done exactly right. It was. Our new ovens are amazing. But we wouldn't have them without Albano. Absolutely everyone we've come into contact with has provide outstanding customer service. And if you've ever spent more than 10 minutes shoppping for appliances, you know that pricing is essentially fixed. The difference really is service. And Albano''s is extraordinary. We can't thank them enough: Joe, Fred, Cathy, John, Margarita, Bob--and the specialists they work with, including Gem Electric, Bill Magyari, and the inimitable Chef Jehan. I just finished renovating my kitchen and I have to say, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Albano's. In a world where most people write reviews when they're angry, I couldn't help but share my positive experience with such a wonderful company! Remodeling is very overwhelming, but Fred's expertise in appliances made the process go so smoothly! I was interested in La Carnue ranges and Albano's has a wonderful selection. I decided on the fantastic Chateau 165 model and Fred ended up helping me pick out my appliances around the range to create a sophisticated, yet functional feel. He really went the extra mile to make the kitchen customized to my needs. It is one of the few establishments where you recognize the value they place on customer service. On another note, the service department is excellent! The service technicians are incredibly professional and knowledgeable about the product. Recently my GE washer started having problems. Albano's came out and found a problem with the hydrowave washer motor. They called in a new part and had it fixed in no time! Definitely would recommend them for service! read more

I have worked professionally with Albano Appliances for over 14 years and can vouch that there is no other firm that can even touch them for knowledgeable staff, customer service and support. Whenever a client asks me to work with another appliance supplier, I am always astounded at the lack of technical support these competitors offer - I call them up with a question and not only don't they know the answer, they're surprised they even have to supply that kind of information. They don't know their product lines, not the way Albano's staff does. There's a real reason Albano's is the place professionals bring their clients to. We know our client will be met by helpful staff, shown the best products and given an honest assessment of the product's features. We have been customers of Albano Appliance for many years. Most recently we purchased appliances from them for our kitchen renovation. We worked with Jehan to make our selections. He is very knowledgeable about the products they carry and also patient when it came to all the questions we had. We began having problems with the Bluestar gas range which required trips from Albano service reps as well as Bluestar service reps over the course of a year or more but the problems persisted to a point that the service and management at Albano worked to have the range replaced with a brand new one. You don't just ask for a new replacement range and get one. They really fought for us with Bluestar, documenting all of the problems and the multiple trips made to attempt to fix things. The new range is great and works like a charm! Albano Appliance is exemplary and we highly recommend them! read more

Albano's is the place to go when remodeling your kitchen. I have been a customer for over 20 years. Fred and Mike's superior product knowledge guarantees you a fabulous kitchen. They are a well-respected establishment and work closely with builders and architects in the area. What I like about Albano's is their diverse selection of products and their customer service. I always feel appreciated and valued as a customer. I recently purchased a Gaggenau cooktop (400 series) to update my kitchen. I switched to gas cooking after having electric for 30 year and I wasn't sure about the gas range. Not only did Fred himself come to my house to show me how to use my appliances, he invited Albano's resident chef to cook a meal with me. It made me feel valued as a customer. Place is an absolute joke! I bought a new range directly from the owner himself. A little shrimp named Fred the size of a third grader. Long story short I caught him in a lie about pricing and would not give me the price that a competitor offered which was lower. I walked away feeling insulted and gave my business to Aitoro in Norwalk, CT. Much better store, way bigger and bigger selection and much friendlier staff. I would avoid Albano at all cost. This place is a disaster! Just go into the store yourself and look at the layout. Did a 3rd grader design and decorate your store??? Failed business if I have ever seen one Again go to Aitoro in Norwalk. Mr Aitoro will take great care of you and honors any add or promo out there unlike Fred Albino. A local business with a fantastic local mentality. I remodeled my kitchen and wasn't sure where to start when it came to appliances. The sales team was incredible. In no way did they "sell" me on products, they educated me on the pros, cons, and what would be best for my space. I could not be happier with my blue star range- a product I knew nothing about before Jehan introduced me to the line! Albano's is a family-owned business and one that I'll support for years to come. They are professional, knowledgeable, and what I think is most important, genuinely good people. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I recommend them highly! read more

We received excellent service from Chef/salesman Jehan DeNoue. He gave us a live demonstration of a Capital Culinarian Range including its uniform/low simmer shown by melting chocolate. Jehan gave us more than an hour of his time, including advice on kitchen renovations . He is knowledgeable, clear and has a wonderful sense of humor. read more
