That was the only other time he spoke to us. The entire interaction was bizarre. His demeanor was sullen, and he showed no basic courtesy or customer service. To make matters worse, one of the empanadas was almost empty, which was very disappointing. The food itself was very good, but not nearly good enough to make up for the lack of communication, poor customer service, and the uncomfortable, awkward atmosphere we both experienced throughout our visit.

It came with a fried egg, a buttered bun, lettuce, and tomato. Admittedly, I was also hoping for the pico, cotija, and remolade that appear as toppings on the menu version. They were absent, and they might simply be out of certain condiments as the coronavirus persists. But that didn't detract from the satisfying taste! The chicken wings are smoked until tender, and then fried for a lovely crisp red exterior. Oh they were delicious! They were missing the tequila lime dressing, perhaps another casualty of the pandemic. It's not uncommon to alter one's menu these days. But they were undeniably tasty! A nice surprise were the hand-cut potatoes that accompanied both entrees, fried just enough for that crispy edge while soft and tender on the inside.
