Yes this is the place for gyros in Eugene! The best in town. A bit on the expensive side but the taste is all there.

Just go in, ask for the gyro with the works (sans tomato in my case), and you're set. I love that they don't skimp on any of their toppings (cucumber sauce, feta cheese, peppercinis, etc). Remember to bring cash because they don't do cards. read more

Just tried this a few weeks ago, and have been back two weekends in a row. So delish!!! Tried the dolmas for the 1st time and definitely will get again. Their baklava is the best I ever had. Sampled the humus sooo good. The hubby did not want to try it and was hesitant and guess what..... he told me I could eat that. Haha. I think another trip this weekend is in order. read more

If you like Gyros and off-the-wall sodas... This is the place for you! I think they have like 6 different Sarsaparillas, and a few drinks I was pretty sure were cancelled years ago. Driving through town and I had my son pull up Yelp to find something quick that wasn't burgers. This was what he picked. I was really doubting him when we pulled up to a shack next to a do it your self laundry place. But inside we were asked if we had been there, and since we hadn't, got a quick description of everything on the menu. We both had beef & lamb gyros (one small, one large) and an order of the garlic fries. Both Gyros were quite big and prepared exactly as we had ordered. With 5 star service and gyros it was only the "shack" and the garlic fries that caused this place to get 3 stars. The fries had a nice seasoning but then just some garlic weakly sprinkled on the top. Even though I love fries, next time it is something I would skip. And we will back. read more

Vegetarians --- CHECK YOUR FOOD. Look, I'm not the kind of guy who bitches on yelp. Usually... My experience here- I called ahead because I knew they were close to closing and I don't like to be that guy that walks in right before they close. I ordered two gyros with FALAFEL to go. I walked in, picked them up, tipped, walked out. The guy was pretty nice and thanked me for calling ahead. On the way home, however, I noticed that the falafel was a little funny looking. By which I mean it was LAMB. I turned immediately around and got back there at 8:00 on the dot and he was closed!! He wouldn't respond to my frantic limb-flailing from the sidewalk either. So I pretty much gave this guy fifteen bucks for something that I'm totally opposed to. Ok, ok, go ahead an make fun of me for being vegetarian. That's fine. I'm used to it. I'm not here to guilt trip anybody about eating meat. Also, I work in the restaurant industry as well and I know that stuff gets messed up some times. But on the very LAST order of this guy's night, he gave me something that I'm totally opposed to eating. It's not like I ordered chicken and got beef, I clearly stated that I wanted falafel and he even repeated it back to me. So yeah, I'm out fifteen bucks and hangry about it. I've been to Albee's twice and unfortunately I don't like it. I got the spanikopita twice and both times it was cold in the middle. They have very few options to choose from. The staff are loud and rude, and keep yelling at me while I'm eating. Not in a mean way, but more of like a pushy, bully type of way where they're trying to keep you hyped or something. Making you pay attention to them while you're eating. I don't get this, everyone that works there seems to do it and this is not something I've encountered at other food establishments. Sticky, clingy talk too. Acting like you're their bro or something, it's wierd. read more

Amazing service from Trevor every time! The food is really good, always hots the spot for affordable delicious quick meal. And, it seems Trevor really cares about the making sure he takes pride in prepping the food and service he delivers. The loyalty punch card is a great deal, too! We stopped at Albee's today for the gyros sandwich. It was good but expensive @ $8.50. With an order of garlic fries my lunch total was $11.50. I expected a little more for the cost. I stopped here the other day for the first time after craving Mediterranean cuisine. This is a little place that I never noticed til I found it on Yelp. It's small and not a lot of space to eat inside on a rainy day but there wasn't many people coming through at about 1:30pm on the weekend. There was one guy working (probably Albee, considering his accent and picture on the wall) and he let us sample the food before we bought it. He was extremely nice and also provided us with a sample of baklava after we ate our gyros. The gyro itself is a decent price for what you get ($7). It definitely filled me up for the most part and I can eat a lot. You pick your veggies to put on it and the meat was very tasty. I recommend this to anybody that wants top of the line gyros. read more
