I'm grateful for their manager & team at Puyallup. I have a 1987 760 Volvo that needed maintenance and overall a diagnostic. (Old car doesn't have new chips) I've been to two shops getting this car worked on since May 7th, - thankfully Brian in Puyallup and his team took over the vehicle and immediately started figuring out what & why after everything they've done at the other shops, it wasn't running.. Being and older car , they were aware it needs a little extra patience and research to be worked on efficiently. I'm aware not everyone will have all the answers, that's never expected, we are human. They helped us majorly again today when a car battery died in one of our vehicles. Bucky's got us in the next day diagnosing and fixed the problem for free. My wife practically had to force money as a tip on the manager who helped us. I have had a lot of adventures with auto mechanics but this Bucky's has always been dependable and helpful. Fair pricing and honest. Really my best experiences with auto mechanics have been at this location. I can't speak for other Bucky's but this one is our go to when we need anything with our cars. There's also a really neat bowling alley across the street with a great restaurant and miniature golf. Many times in the past I have gone across the street to Tower Lanes to eat breakfast or throw a few games while the guys at Bucky's do their thing. Something to consider if you have a few hours to kill down there.

They fixed it for way less than what I was expecting, and this tells me they are fair and not trying to gouge people. They also allowed me to keep the car there for several days due to me being out of town. Five star service, but I'll knock one half star off for communication. I left a note with the key saying I'd be out of town, with instructions on how to get a hold of me, my wife, or my daughter. I ended up calling them a week later (from Mexico) asking about the car. In fairness to them, I gave an okay to repair if less than a certain price point, and they fixed it accordingly. Four and a half stars - would go there again.
