Do not trust. Read my other reviews. I'm asking for my original $$ amount to be returned to me. How do I know which business performed the work on my car: Hybrid Battery Mobile Service initially located in Canoga Park or Albert High Tech? Same owner, same crew, same story, same location: 5523 Tujunga. I'm not going to have my car towed there a 4th time like Albert asked me to. Clearly they are not mobile. I only got 2 receipts from them. One from the location in Canoga Park in January 2025 and the other from this North Hollywood location in September 2025. Albert claims that in January 2025 the Hybrid Battery Repair business in Canoga belonged to someone else. But it was his voice that I recognized and talked to on the phone that January. Same intonation. Same pitch. Same accent. Same name. He makes it seems like he's doing me a favor he is looking over my car. My car that I had to have towed to his North Hollywood location 3 times. The response to my review(s) of this business sound like I paid nothing for the extra parts replaced in my car. See the receipts. I paid another $900 for some used parts, among them a radiator. How am I supposed to know the business was 'sold' (like Albert claims) if the name is the same? Show me some proof. And if the business has outstanding debts or warranties and it is sold, does it no longer need to honor these warranties? Hmmm. Food for thought. Anyway. When you acquire a business and keep the same name, you are acquiring the outstanding warranties, debts, customers, etc. And 2 out of the 3 times my car was towed to the Tujunga location in North Hollywood I did not receive a receipt. No pictures. No receipt. No old parts to show me that were replaced. I finally had to cut my losses.l: (1) the $2,518 I paid a year ago for the refurbished battery and installation while the business was based in Canoga Park, (2) the $900 for radiator, used BCM, used battery interlock, (3) the towing fees for the 4 towings, (4) the $210 Toyota Dealership diagnosis fee in San Diego where it states it is my hybrid battery causing problems. Finally I had to cut my losses. I paid another company $3,100 a mobile one, this January 2026, to come over to my place and put in a brand new battery. So far so good. Car is driving really well. I will keep you updated if you want to know. If this business claims it is not my hybrid battery causing problems and making the car stall, why can't they diagnose it? They are a car repair shop claiming to specialize in hybrids. Anyway, I will be seeking my original amount back, even if I have to do it through small claims court. read more

The 2002 Prius uses a 12v battery that's hard to find. One shop ordered 3 and still didn't have the one that fit my car. I came in for an oil change and requested some additional checkups since the car is close to 100k miles. Blown away by how knowledgable the mechanics are at Albert's High Tech. They definitely know Prius engines inside out. My Gen 3 Prius had 154K miles and was misfiring and was barely drivable. I'm changing the oil on my 2.8 BMW and paid $75 for it, the guys filled me with almost 2 gallons of synthetic oil..... and the Prius is the same price ????? Lmao, okay... Headlights $40????? Is this something special for a 2004 car?????? I don't recommend this place because it's overpriced and where is my receipt???? Or I can't get a receipt if I paid in cash???? And another one, the worker said I should change the pump and showed my friend the leaks, said it would cost me 600 dollars, but I already changed the pump two months ago and it was previous leaks, I forgot to clean it, and this there was a reason to try to get $600. Several years ago I moved to the north valley and tried a few other mechanics that were closer, the prices they'd charge were astronomical compared to Albert, not to mention all the other "problems" they'd find that were nothing more than sneaky ways to make more money off you. Crook and/or dishonest businessman and automechanic On 07/25/20, i went to repair my car due to constant battery drain even when i turn on my car at least 30 min/day. I specifically told him the issue ,"the car constantly run out of battery even after i change into a new battery and a new alternator earlier this year." He changed the ignition switch after the inspection. I asked him "does it have anything to do with the problem of running out of battery" which he replied "Maybe. Just come back if u still have problem. You have a 1 year warranty." In the following week, my car still run out of battery which required jump-start and i decided to came back today on 07/30/20. He refused to honor the warranty with the excuse "It's a different problem." How the hell would i know if it's different problem, all i know is the same issue still persist/exist and it was not getting fixed. At first, he was using excuses that i came to the shop for ignition switch problem. After i pressured him, he admit that i told him the battery drainage issue and he thought maybe fixing the ignition problem will also fix battery drainage. Yet, he still refuse to honor the warranty. $300 down the drain. Then He proceed told me he would need several days and at least $500 to check what's wrong with my car which i declined. Avoid at ALL Cost!!! You have been warned. read more
