Gave me back my car with my tires not on properly. It was making a sound after coasting and driving my car. When I called to complain the owner said they did not even touch them even though I had a second mechanic confirm there was no way it would've been from anywhere else and lasted as long as it did. The owner explicitly stated there was no way they could've done it but my car was driving fine before with no problems I only came for a coolant tube. I haven't gotten tires serviced for months so the second mechanic said there would've been damaged long before and I'm lucky to have gotten it fixed quick. Super impressed with Active Auto Motors! Took my 02 GMC Sierra 2500 4x4 in for a bottom to top engine rebuild... was obviously super nervous about such a big job but Mifeal made a dude feel pretty good about where his truck was. He kept me up to date along the way and sent me pics to let me know where they were at on the job. As a young woman who doesn't know much about cars, I'm always wary when taking my car in anywhere. But this shop is fantastic. I had gone to a different mechanic after i was told i had an oil leak, and they told me I was looking at several thousand in repairs because they found four different leaks. I took it here and they saved me so much money. All I had was an oil leak, along with a few other parts that needed replacing. Michael took the time to show me under the hood exactly what he had found and sent me pictures of everything so I had it for reference. He even documented the minor superficial damage but didn't pressure me in any way to get it repaired. He understood exactly what I was there for. I came to this place because it was recommended by a friend. It was a Sunday I was surprise this shop was opened. My car had something wrong with the motor and it will smell like burnt at times. Misael explained me the process and the cost. I thought the prices were really fair and he was really honest about everything my car had to get done but to do first what was more important. A lot of shops don't do this, they want you to get everything in one day and give you a large bill, specially cause I'm a girl they take advantage since I didn't know anything about cars. I walked into this mechanical gear head establishment worried and nervous like it was my first day of jr. High about to get robbed for my milk money, I almost turned around and drove back home but like jr. High I stuck to my guns and held my ground ! These guys are the real deal in auto repair. I had just purchased a 1999 Toyota Camry and it just happened to over heat right in front of this shop. It was 6:30 pm most shops are closed or would have said come back tomorrow. Masiel and Edgar came out to help me immediately. My radiator had a hole on the top. They said they could fix it by noon on Saturday (they close at noon) the price was very reasonable. My car was ready by noon as promised they even went a step further to replace the Thermostat w/gaskets. They didn't change from the original price like most mechanic shops do. Anyway fast forward to the next Saturday I thought something was wrong with my radiator they installed so I took the car back. Turned out it was the water pump. Again very professional and they told me it would be ready by 6 pm; even though they close usually on Saturday at noon. They were very professional and listened to my concerns. Of course the car was ready promptly and 6 pm as promised. I highly recommend Active Auto Motors to anyone who needs car repairs by real professional staff and they deliver on time.
