Errol was awesome he's a freaking rockstar! I had him install two new 02 sensors because of a p0130 code and needed to get a smog asap. After the install he told me to come back to him before I got my smog tested my car to see if the car was ready to pass because he can check for that. Not only did VIP do a considerate and very reliable, complimentary pre road trip inspection of the car, my little Fiat also needed a new radiator of all things- just before that trip through the desert- the hottest place in the country, at the hottest time of year. VIP did everything perfectly, and I was safe, secure, and the radiator gave no issues for the entire travels, or ever. All done seamlessly. After trying to come to an agreement when they didn't fix the problem they said they would fix, the owner(short man with a grey goatee) was only mentally attacking me & manipulating the situation instead of sincerely apologizing over the fact that they couldn't fix the problem. I would rate my experience as a negative star if it was possible. I called and made an appointment to get tires replaced on Mon the day before the holiday as I was taking the car on a long trip and needed to replace tires. I made the appointment about five days prior and requested an 8:00 AM install as I was leaving around 2:00 PM for my trip. I get to the shop at 7:45 AM, check in and hand my keys off. I'm instructed that the install will take about an hour, roughly 9:00ish and I'll receive a call when completed. I leave to get breakfast and receive a call about 9:15 from the shop. I ask if the car is ready and I'm informed that they can't find the tires or the owner sold them. And the solution presented to me is that they can do the job at 2:00Pm after reordering tires. No apologies, nothing. So now I have to scramble to find a tire place that can actually replace my tires in the next 2-3 hrs so I can leave as scheduled. This place was good at one point but really seems to have gone downhill. A capable, well run shop would have confirmed they actually had the required parts for their 8:00 AM install the next morning or call customer to cancel. Maybe they have new owners because this is not the way to treat customers. So in the future maybe just go to a tire store for tires and not a mechanic. read more
